-Saturday...remember...WHY BOTHER???
I really think the Late Night battle on Trendrr is much more interesting to watch than
the one Nielsen reports...don't you?
-I know my rule is no legal dramas, and I really had only tuned in to FRANKLIN & BASH
to check out the pilot episode, but as you know, I did enjoy it, and that lead me to
watch this week's episode as well, which was really good and laugh out loud funny.
Now, I know this is a slippery slope for me, as there are SO many legal drama's out
there...one of my good friends is a producer/director of one of them and I never watch
his show, and I have been asked by quite a few of you out there to give WHITE
COLLAR a shot, but to be honest, I am a bit scared now...I mean what if I like that one
too? Then what's next people? I mean where does it end...I barely sleep as it is and
the pressure would be enormous...so...here is the compromise...I will watch WHITE
COLLAR because I want to keep my readers happy so that they will keep coming back,
recommend me to friends, which parlay's into a book deal and then a movie deal and
then I am Hollywood's next IT girl and then I retire and hang out with Beyonce & Jay-Z
in San Tropez on a yacht...but for now...I will just keep watching TV
-FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS this week was of course, need I say it...just perfect. We had
Matt Saracin and Julie together, we had Vince learning that there is no "I" in team, we
had Becky flirting with the idea of working at the strip club and being nice to Luke and
going to dinner with his parents, but the best part of the whole show, were the scenes
for next week...TIM RIGGINS my favorite...is back. OMG I cannot wait. I really
thought that Taylor Kitsch would be a huge star by now...great actor, gorgeous and
these amazing abs that one could truly get lost in...ahhh but I digress and this
newsletter is a family friendly audience...next topic.
-I didn't watch any TV at all on Saturday...shocking I know, I had to prep for Sunday
where there was just SO much to watch and as much as I am proud of my Sunday
viewing accomplishments, I didn't get it ALL in...but I did get 2 episodes of OPRAH
BEHIND THE SCENES, THE DAYTIME EMMY'S, THE GLEE PROJECT, REAL HOUSEWIVES
OF NJ and THE O'NEALS.
-The DAYTIME EMMY'S were so embarrassing to watch. For a while, nobody was sure if
they would actually be broadcast on one of the bigger networks, cable, the internet or
not at all...suggestion...ION TV. This is the only network where this show would have
made any sense to me at all. In between awards for programs I don't even watch,
were these really long promo's for charities and for Las Vegas, it was really odd. For
Best Game Show there were 4 nominees and 2 won...what's with that? WHEEL OF
FORTUNE tied with JEOPARDY. Also they had Marie Osmond singing the same
Andrews Sisters song that those sisters sang on THE VOICE the other
night...REALLY??? Andrews Sisters twice in the same week? At least the viewers of the
DAYTIME EMMY'S are the right demo to know that song, but still...horrible
nonetheless.
-GLEE PROJECT was enjoyable, I am still very afraid of Ryan Murphy even when he is
trying hard to be less mean and scary...he is still mean and scary.
-REAL HOUSEWIVES OF NJ is kind of divided into 2 parts...the part I love and the part
that I am getting sick of. The Therese/Joe (her brother not her husband)/Melissa
storyline, is amazing. They are all idiots who don’t listen at all to anything the other is
saying and the facial expressions are hilarious, and is it me or are everyone's crosses
getting larger and larger? Maybe they all think that if they wear these huge crosses
and mention Jesus enough, they will still get in to Heaven or something I don't know,
but for 4 seasons, Theresa really wasn't all that religious, and now it seems that she
and her brother have found God. Enjoyable for me the viewer. What is not really so
enjoyable anymore is Caroline...she now has a radio show where she can continue to
preach how to be perfect to anyone that will listen...Booooring. More Theresa, more
Melissa and more Joe.
-Okay, I don't know what is wrong with me...I really don't...I was NOT going to watch
THE O'NEALS (Ryan & Tatum)...I wasn't going to do it. But then, Tatum O'Neal was on
Howard Stern and she was really good and made it sound like I needed to check out
the show, so of course...I stayed up and watched this train wreck also. O.M.G. it was
so uncomfortable to watch...I felt so intrusive on these two nut jobs...Tatum seems
okay but then this odd situation with her father is crazy. Ryan is NUTS...remember this
is a guy that punched his son's teeth out and apparently in this episode, even though
we didn't see what actually happened, he kicked his grandson out of his car on the side
of a highway but has no idea why. He is a really cool house in Malibu where he ripped
out his son's bedroom because he was too wild and he didn't want him to live with him
anymore...I could go on and on but I am so mortified that I not only watched this, but
that I WILL continue to watch. Seriously people...is there a support group for the
problem I have?
I didn't see MISS USA, and to be honest, I have never in my life watched it, but A)
Andy Cohen was hosting and B) supposedly this year, was a really interactive/engaging
experience, at least that is what they promised, so if anyone did watch and has
info...please report in. I also haven't seen this week's episode of ICE LOVES COCO,
which I am hoping was just as boring as last week's so I can take it out of my season
pass list before BIG BROTHER STARTS (7/7).
Okay, typing all of this and reading it back is making me anxious...it's a lot ,especially
for a Monday morning....sorry, but Sunday's are just crazy!
WWWWTM...Kristy
