-Saturday-we don't even deal with, remember.
-I am sure every Monday, you all roll your eyes knowing that all I ever talk about in my
Monday edition of WWTM is FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS, well I wouldn't want to disappoint
you or your eyeballs, so, O.M.G. I cried my eyes out this week. First of all, there is no
better married couple on TV than Eric and Tami Taylor. Every week I say to myself "I
wonder if my marriage is as awesome as theirs". They just get it big time. No idea
how they produced one of THE most odd looking children in television history, but hey
it happens right? Vince and his Dad, Vince and Coach Taylor, Billy Riggins and I gotta
call out Buddy Garrity, what a great performance. But of course the highlight of the
week (and the season) was the return of Tim Riggins, I could barely breathe. The best
thing about this show is that while it centers around Football, we don't always need to
see the game...this week's episode ends when the game is about to begin...brilliant. I
will continue to say it...if you aren't watching or you've never watched, make this your
Summer project...rent all 5 seasons, go on Hulu and watch, whatever, you will thank
me when you are done.
-Caught up on my REAL HOUSEWIVES OF NY over the weekend. Oy...I really need to
give this show up, although this week's episode was less annoying than most of the
previous weeks. Thank god they are all home from Morocco and back in NYC. This
week it just so happened that Ramona's daughter and LuAnn's daughter were both
having their sweet 16s on the same day (great coincidence right?) Of course while both
were over the top and ridiculous, they couldn't have been any more different. In
addition to the 2 parties, we had Simon getting hypnotized to not smoke (did we know
he smoked? I didn't) and Jill getting a "liquid facelift" which looked painful, but I gotta
admit, her face looks wrinkle free.
-Last night, I have to say Ryan Murphy seemed a little less scary to me on THE GLEE
PROJECT. He seemed to have a smile on his face and he just came across a lot nicer
and less harsh to me. Maybe because he can now get married in NYC? Nah...this
episode was filmed way before the historic bill passed, so that couldn't have been
it...maybe it was just me.
-In addition to THE GLEE PROJECT, we also had another REAL HOUSEWIVES OF NJ
episode...did you guys watch this one? The "sit down" between Theresa and Melissa
was truly head spinning. I hope Theresa watched this show and realized what an idiot
she sounds like when she speaks. The funny thing was they both kept referring to their
husbands as "my husband" I wonder if that's because their husbands are both Joe G's or
Joey G's or Joe...it can be confusing for anyone not just these two idiots. Oh and
what's with all of those guns???
-I needed some sleep...so I couldn't get to RYAN & TATUM or WATCH WHAT HAPPENS
LIVE, but of course I intend to catch up tonight.
-So not TV, but since Ed Helms is on TV in THE OFFICE, I can make this comment
relevant (it's like 6 degrees of TV, not Kevin Bacon)...finally got to see HANGOVER 2.
Yeah it was just like the original, but I LOVED IT...I thought it was still hilarious, I
really want to put the funniest line in the movie into this newsletter, but pretty sure the
powers that be will block the email from being sent if I do...darn them, whoever they
are. If you have seen it...it's the one about the monkey.
-On Thursday, FX opened its new live-action extremely weird but also enjoyable comedy
series, WILFRED at 10p delivering the highest ratings ever for a comedy series debut
on the network. WILFRED tallied 2.55 million total viewers; 1.6 million A18-49.
Counting encore airings of the premiere episode, WILFRED delivered 3.8 million total
viewers and 2.4 million A18-49 viewers for the night. I can't really describe this show
without you seeing it, but basically, Elijah Wood plays a guy named Ryan and forms a
friendship with the neighbor's dog. Everyone else sees the dog as just a dog but Ryan
sees him as a man in a dog suit. WILFRED is brutally honest and helps Ryan in his daily
life. Definitely check it out...it's strange, but again...enjoyable.
-Monday's Trivia Question: What was the name of Elijah Woods character in the Lord of
the Rings Trilogy movies?
WWTM-Kristy
