-Last night as I was driving home, I got an email from a HUGE WWTM fan regarding
one of my FAVES, Jeff Probst. Since I don't check emails while driving (unless I am at a
red light) I was freaking out as I thought that maybe it was news that he was officially
taking the Regis gig...but Nooooooo...he is getting his own talk show on CBS. I have
to admit, I am bummed about that. I really was hoping he would get the Regis job. I
had it all figured out how Mark Consuelos, Kelly Ripas' husband could cover for him
when he had to go film SURVIVOR. I guess CBS wants to keep him rather than have
him go to the competition...Oh well, as long as he still puts out torches and tells me
the tribe has spoken, I am happy for him.
-I realized I forgot a couple of big things in yesterday's WWTM. First, TRUE BLOOD...I
heard from quite a few WWTM fans that I had forgotten to mention it. Well, I gave it
up 2 seasons ago after that meat lady story line. It got to weird even for me, so while
I know there are a bunch of fans out there in WWTM land, I have to say that I am no
longer a viewer, so there won't be any commentary other than ratings info out of me
on this one. Sorry. I watch enough Vampire stuff...VAMPIRE DIARIES, TWILIGHT
MOVIES, BEING HUMAN...how many blood suckers can one girl take???
-The next thing I forgot to mention was the much anticipated (at least by me that is)
return of WEEDS. I was so happy to have it back and I love that it is now 3 years later
and Nancy Botwin is getting out of prison. I forgot that the show is really only 22
minutes long and it felt like 10 minutes, but the plot has been set for the season and it
already seems like it will get back on track to drug deals and crazy Botwin antics. Hope
you guys are fans of this one!
-Okay, again, I have to say, this RYAN & TATUM...O.M.G. Ryan O'Neal is out of his
mind. I am really hoping that he is watching this show and saying to himself "I am
totally out of my mind". Now he has a dog that he is talking to like a shrink...could
this train wreck get any better? I don't think so. I feel really bad for Tatum, especially
because I think (based on her interview with Howard Stern-King of All Media) that she
thought SHE would get the accolades for this show, but oh nooooo...Ryan is the star of
this show hands down. I of course recommend the show, just for pure
ridiculousness...if you do check it out, please let me know what you think.
-I believe I have said for the past 2 weeks that I was NOT going to keep watching ICE
LOVES COCO, but for some reason I just can't delete the season pass from my
TiVO...yes TiVO (I have tried other DVRs...TiVO rules) and I continue to watch this
borefest just hoping for something to happen. Well I got my wish...the debut of Coco
& Ice's big hit song...Shoe Freak. This woman is so obsessed with shoes, that Ice puts
together a song for her birthday all about shoes. Of course she loves it and thinks it's
the best gift ever. If you recall from last week, she had a special shoe assistant clean
out her shoe closet, but this week she was talking about having the walls of her office
made into a shoe museum...hey Coco...you could have done that with all the shoes your
shoe assistant chucked last week. People are out of their minds.
-Tonight is part one of THE VOICE finale...I have to admit, now I know what IDOL fans
feel like as I am actually very excited to check out the finale...hey I may actually vote.
Of course Nakia is who I wanted to win and he was kicked out already.
-Tuesday's Trivia Question: Anna Paquin plays Sookie Stackhouse in TRUE BLOOD.
What did she win her Oscar for? Bonus...what year did she win it? (I had to look up
the year...I told you guys if I have to Google something, I call it out...I am no cheater)
