-As you know, yesterday, the EMMY nominations came out. I have been reading so
much about who got snubbed and who didn’t and honestly I really don't care at all.
Kyle Chandler and Connie Britton both from FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS and the show were
all recognized and while I doubt they will win, they deserve the nominations big time
for the work they have done on the entire series congratulations to them all...and if
this section on FNL isn't enough...
-Tonight might be one of the most anticipated and dreaded nights for me in a long
time, as it is the series finale of FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS, one of the best shows EVER
on television. The agony of viewing is prolonged for me as I have to go to see my
nephew in a play before I can get home, get comfortable and cry my eyes out. So sad
that the story of the Dillon Panthers/Lions, Coach Taylor and Tami, Riggins and Billy,
and all the rest is coming to an end for us all...again, for those of you who have no idea
what I am talking about, ESPN is re-running the series in order...set the DVR and check
it out. ( I know, I know...shut up already Kristy, we get it we get it...but you don't
because you HAVEN'T BEEN WATCHING!!!)
-It is official that GLEE's Lea Michelle, Cory Monteith and Chris Colfer will not be
coming back after this coming season, they will graduate and go on to do
whatever...sorry forgot to include this in yesterday's WWTM, I was obsessed with
getting you the Emmy Nominees FIRST and was really tired. Apparently the actors were
not told personally and read this news with all of us. See, I told you that Ryan Murphy
was a mean creepy guy...this proves my theory.
-Shaquille O'Neal has signed a multi-year deal with Turner Sports and will serve as an
analyst on TNT. I guess no more SHAQ VS. shows??? I enjoyed those. I don't think of
Shaq as the most eloquent enunciator in the world, but he is a great Tweeter, so maybe
he can tweet his commentary too! Congrats Shaq!
-Blockbuster is totally capitalizing on Netflix's stupid price increase announcement this
week and is offering switchers a really good deal to jump ship. I am actually
considering it. It will save me money and I will get everything I wanted Netflix to give
me and more. For those of you interested, here is the link. Let me know if you are
going to take the plunge...it's an ingenious, brilliant move for Blockbuster if you ask
me!

-Big, but not surprising news to me or any of you REAL HOUSEWIVES OF BEVERLY
HILLS fans, Taylor and her drippy, annoying, husband Russell have decided to officially
call it quits. I for one am happy about the decision, he was a total jerk and treated
Taylor pretty poorly...so while it's sad for her, I am sure she will do much better with
someone else. Hope they got it all on camera though...enjoyable TV I am sure.
-Since BIG BROTHER started this season, I kept thinking "what's up with Julie Chen?"
she looks heavy, sounds different, is she pregnant? It was driving me crazy during last
night's live eviction episode where that idiot Keith got backdoored or blindsided or
whatever...so I Googled it and apparently Julie Chen IS pregnant. Where was I when
this news was announced? I feel really stupid that I didn't know this...did you guys
know?
-I don't watch THE SING OFF, and the news that Nicole Scherzinger, former Pussycat
Doll, is out and Sara "I'm Not Gonna Write You a Love Song" Bareilles is in, really
doesn't mean that much to me, but it seems to be on every website so I figured why
not let you guys know...so now you do...
-You know I love a good/stupid celebrity baby name...let's add Kate Hudson and Muse
band member Matt Bellamy's new son's name to that list...Bingham Hawn Bellamy was
welcomed to the world with this lovely moniker (good one right Evan?) this
week...they are already calling the kid Bing which I guess isn't that bad as we did have
Bing Crosby prior to this, but I still think it's idiotic these days to name your kid after a
search engine...you have to do the school yard test people...
-Okay so last night I believe I truly kicked some viewing butt...caught up big time and
watched MILLION DOLLAR DECORATORS where the dahhhhhling count was over 50, I
lost count after that. I am bummed that next week is the season finale, I was really
enjoying this show and all the over the top attitudes, shopping trips and bizarre
affectations (another one right Ev?). In addition to MDD, I watched BIG BRO, REAL
HOUSEWIVES OF NYC, ROSEANNE'S NUTS, ICE LOVES COCO, WATCH WHAT
HAPPENS LIVE, and Jason Bateman's appearance (a new obsession for some reason) on
JIMMY KIMMEL, not bad really.
-A word on ROSEANNE'S NUTS...I think, but I am not sure that I liked the show. I
mean basically Roseanne and her boyfriend live on a macadamia nut farm in
Hawaii...she is trying to be at peace and at one with nature and aware of Karma and
trying to be a "good" person and all of that type of thing... but at the same time she
has to deal with life on a farm...so there are these wild pigs running all over the place
eating her Nuts (same he he he as when I would type Evil Dick) and she has guns to try
and shoot them but of course she never does, so she hires these professionals who use
crazy pit bulls to get the pigs. When she finally gets the pig and they go to kill it with
a knife, she stops them and says she needs to call her therapist because she isn't
comfortable killing the pig...I didn't season pass this show, but if it's on and I am free,
I will probably watch again. Oh...one more thing...Roseanne was cooking dinner and
didn't have any orange juice for the recipe she was making so she improvised and
threw into a frying pan an orange popsicle...thought I'd share, I would have never
thought of that, apparently the meal was delicious.
-In addition to my new Jason Bateman obsession, I have been obsessed with Blake
Shelton since THE VOICE. Blake was on Jimmy Fallon and sang an oldie but a goody
with Jimmy...The Pina Colada Song...check out the video:
