THE SHOWS
Survivor
I feel like this season's Blood vs. Water is already so much more emotional than the last one. The loved ones are going head to head more and this season they're responsible for sending one another to Exile Island. It's crazy. Even more crazy than that though, Jon losing his tribes flint. How does one lose the most valuable item in the game? HOW? I'd vote that idiot off just for that. Only one problem, the tribe keeps winning. They won fishing gear and had to trade it all for flint. Devastating! I loved Jeff's reaction to this news. He couldn't believe that the team with 2 firemen lost their flint. Good negotiation skills too, Probst. John Rocker wasn't too happy when his girlfriend kicked his ass in the reward challenge and sent him to Exile. He also ended up unable to protect  his pal, Val from getting voted out. Karma's a b*tch huh? We've seen that immunity challenge before. Did this one seem bloodier to you? John Rocker took a shot to the nose (Karma again) Baylor got a fat lip from her Mom and Kelly got all cut up. Fun times huh?

Goldbergs

No matter where the other 2 members of my family are or what they're doing, when The Goldbergs come on, we all come together in the same room and watch. Of course my 13 year old doesn't understand the joy of my decade like my husband does, but he still thinks Bev Goldberg's the best and last night was no exception. When Adam didn't get the lead in his school's production of Jesus Christ Superstar she just had to call in a favor. Before Match.com or JDate there was good old fashioned  Bev who set up the Principal with his wife. Of course she did. Adam didn't want to be at the kids table of The Last Supper so he and Bev decided to put on their own version of Starlight Express. Of course it was a disaster and Erica had to deliver the bad news to her brother, so back to the chorus he went. That part of the episode was good, don't get me wrong, but it was really Murray and Barry's night. Murray HATES traffic so much, he leaves every event early to avoid it. I TOTALLY GET IT! Unfortunately he and Barry missed a historic moment at a Flyers game which made Barry nuts SOOOOO Barry took the clicker and the TV knob on THE night that Love Boat and Fantasy Island were doing the famous crossover event. First of its kind if memory serves. Not too many real 80's throwbacks this week. Ghostbusters,  Erica's Sports Walkman in bright yellow and Tattoo and Gopher. I had that yellow Sports Walkman and I thought I was the COOLEST ever. It was bigger and brighter than a regular Walkman and I think the only thing that made it a "sports" Walkman was the armband. Damn I loved that thing.
Okay 2 Goldberg Trivia Questions: 1) Who did Adam play in Jesus Christ Superstar and 2) What song did they play this week?

Modern Family
Okay, I admit it, I actually laughed a few times during this weeks episode. Not only that, but I laughed at the entire thing with Lily's weird smile. She's no longer the kid I hate the most, that title has gone over to Luke who may have grown in height over the Summer but he has officially lost all ability to act. All I want someone to do is smash him in the face. His facial expressions are TERRIBLE. Phil and Claire should send him to boarding school or something. Manny's also getting on my nerves with the Hugh Hefner robe and the espresso. Remember the Men In Black reference last week? Do you think that entire thing with the button had anything to do with Lost? I don't know why my head went there but it did. Pretty predictable that the button wasn't the experiment. We all saw that coming didn't we? I loved Jay's bunny. When Gloria smashed it I screamed out loud. First time in a long time that Modern Family didn't suck. Let's hope the writers are on a roll!

Black-ish
Last nights episode of Black-ish was hilarious. HILARIOUS! Gotta admit I wasn't expecting Drey to see Jr. in "hand to gland combat" right off the bat, but it got the ball (no pun intended) rolling big time. Drey wanted to have THE TALK with Jr. but since Bow already had it, Drey figured he'd try to take it one step further and let Jr ask him anything he wanted to know about sex. The floodgates opened…big time. Jr asked some questions about oral and Triceratops and pummeled his Dad with a million sex questions. While Drey and Jr. were talking up a storm, Zoey wasn't telling her Mom anything. Finally, Zoey needed advice from her Bow, but she was so psyched about it that she didn't hear a word Zoey said. With Drey and Jr. talking and Zoey and Bow not talking,  all the twins wanted was for someone to speak to them and give them THE TALK, but they got nothing. Nobody even noticed they were locked in their room waiting for The Talk. Oh…one weird thing. If Drey's so wealthy, and has a massive walk-in closet, why are boy/girl twins sharing a room? Just sayin. I had heard the pilot was the weaker episode of Black-ish. This is only week 2 so lets see if the rumors were true and the show stays funny. Hope so, last nights episode was fun. Surprisingly FUN!

Nashville
I just need to say one thing. I hate Juliette's short hair. I hate it. Okay that's 2 things. Sorry, but I feel VERY strongly about it. Juliette's freaking out because she THOUGHT she was pregnant with Jeff's baby but then when she went for the ultrasound before her abortion she found out it's not Jeff's it's Avery's.BUM BUM BUMMMMMM!  Problem is she and Avery are broken up and had a massive fight. Raina's pissed off that Will Lexington's album beat hers out of the #1 spot. She doesn't want to do social media or reveal secrets or anything artists need to do these days to stay relevant,  but it's a new world and the record biz aint what it used to be so she went on Good Morning America. Lyla's miserable being married to her gay husband but I have a feeling that the cat will be out of the bag soon. Deacon bought Maddie a dresser and told her that her Mom turned down his marriage proposal. She wasn't thrilled to hear that news. What was up with Mario Van Peebles? Where has HE been?  He's not aging well, but if he's going to kick Jeff's butt out of Edgehill, I'm happy to see him.

THE OTHER STUFF

-I know a lot of you already know, but for all my fellow Big Brother fans who don't, some bad news…Evil Dick is HIV positive and that's why he had to leave Season 13 so abruptly. I didn't DVR Couples Therapy, but apparently he revealed this news during filming. Not sure how he got it, but either way, I hope he's okay and wish him all the best.

-Alyssa Milano's not going to Fiji or putting in that pool so fast. The production of Mistresses is moving to Vancouver and she's not going with them. Maybe she's still got some Who's the Boss and Charmed money laying around so she can say HELL NO I WON'T GO!  Now lets see how the show does without her. I'm betting there isn't a Season 4.

-FOX really needs to consult me on these things. I warned them about Utopia. I believe I mentioned a few times what a bad idea it was to launch it when Big Brother was on and a bad idea to make viewers commit to 2 days a week for a full year. Welllll FOX just got rid of Utopia on Tuesday nights now it's ONLY Friday's. Ha…Friday's aka the dead zone. Told ya sooooo. Next time JUST ask!

-The Sing-Off's coming back for a 5th Season. Not sure if Nick Lachey is coming back with it, but I don't see why he wouldn't. No 98 Degree concert tour dates announced, so I'm pretty sure he's available.

-Yesterday I told you that Netflix gave the boot to a bunch of movies and shows in order to make room for some new ones. Question...can't they just use all that money to buy bigger servers so we can have everything?  A few of you asked for the list. Here it is:
