THE SHOWS

Real Housewives of Beverly Hills
I'm not loving Eileen, the new housewife. I only care a little because of the whole Vince Van Patten thing, but other than that, so far, she's a whole bunch of nothing special. She doesn't have crazy money, she doesn't have a crazy house, she's booooring! Lisa Vanderpump was getting a star in Palm Springs. Who knew there were stars out there to get? She invited Lisa Rinna sans Harry  to celebrate with a bunch of gay guys, her butler, her housekeeper, 2 chefs and her kids. Her son is 22 and dating a 37 year old who wasn't on camera. Damn, I'd have liked to see that. Not much Brandi, just some podcasting with Vivica A. Fox who apparently doesn't diet. Good for her. Yolanda headed home from Majorca after hearing about her daughter's DUI. She brought lunch over to her husband, David Foster and thanked him for handling everything. He seems like a d*ck to me. I don't know what it is…just d*ckish. Yeah a wedding! Kim's daughter Brooke got married at Aunt Kathy Hilton's house in Bel Air. That was nice of her. She married a guy named Thayer Weiderhorn. Quite a name. He looked like he was a virgin to me but maybe he was just realllllly excited to get married. Thayer is the heir to the Fatburger fortune. Did you see all the beauty products in Kyle's bathroom? HOLY COW! I've never seen anything like it. I've also decided that my kitchen could perhaps be nicer than Kyle's. Mauricio's in real estate but you know that saying about the plumber having leaky pipes…Their house isn't the greatest.

Chrisley Knows Best
It was Todd and Julie's anniversary and everyone was involved in pulling off the party which was also a fundraiser for Breast Cancer. Only one huge problem…Fay, Todd's Mom, put the wrong date on the invitation. Of course it all came together. Who knows if the invitation snafu was for real or not, could have been staged, but my friend Todd swears that everything on the show is real. Faye's awesome but I could definitely see her screwing up the invites so I'm going with it and it made for a fun finale. Todd's speech got me teary and Brett Young's song was amazing. There's a live Chrisley Christmas show tonight but then we'll be missing our new fave family for a while.

THE OTHER STUFF

-Whenever Justin and Jimmy get together, it's magic. Check out this clip from last nights show: http://www.nbc.com/the-tonight-show/segments/94251 Tooooo funny!

-I see my own Fallon video and raise you a Kimmel. Jimmy and John Krasinski have been pranking each other every year for a while and here's this years Christmas prank! Enjoy! http://abc.go.com/shows/jimmy-kimmel-live/news/editors-picks/20141215-emily-blunt-and-john-krasinski-prank-jimmy-kimmel

-One more Kimmel note: Guillermo, Jimmy's sidekick officially broke the Guiness Book of World Records and wore 25 Ugly Christmas Sweaters last night. Congrats Guillermo!

-I'm dating myself here, but I need to in order to prove a point. I spent the first 22 years of my career on the local buying side at MediaVest and for all those years the local stations had to deal with the insanity of the Nielsen monopoly. I always wondered why someone didn't come up with another option. Well, it's been 28 years and finally someone's going to take a shot! FOX, Tribune and Univision are joining forces with Timeline Labs to announce NewCoin. This company is going to use all the cool new technology out there to create a new measurement tool that will accurately measure audiences across all linear and digital platforms. YEAH THEM! I've had so many issues with Nielsen data over the years. I'd love to see another option kick Nielsen's butt around a bit.

-I saw The Short Game on Netflix a while ago. I'm not that into golf, but the documentary about junior golfers and their families got my attention because Justin Timberlake produced it. I didn't write it down anywhere, but I should have because I totally thought it would make a great reality show and now…Esquire network made it into one. The show doesn't premiere until January 20th but you can watch it all in one shot starting Monday, a month early, you can binge it On Demand!  This could be one for the holidays. I don't have On Demand (the one negative about owning TiVO's), but maybe I can find it online or something. If you haven't seen the documentary, I highly recommend it, but just to set expectations…Justin Timberlake isn't it.

-Starz renewed The Missing for a second Season, anyone into that one? Not me.

-No Coke…No Pepsi…Nothing but Ford this Season on American Idol. Coca Cola bagged Idol. Shocked it took soooo long!

-Good news Vikings fans (the show, not the team). We have a premiere date! 2/19 on the History channel. OMG so excited for King Ragnar Lothbrook.

-Not sure how you guys feel about The Walking Dead spinning off with a Hollywood version. Is there such a thing as too much Walking Dead? I'm thinking that with numbers like they generate, not really.

Wednesday's Trivia Question: This actress had her own talk show, and her own network, she starred in The Color Purple and currently stars and produced the movie Selma. Name her.
