THE SHOWS

Golden Globes Red Carpet
  • How did Giuliana Rancic change dresses and hairstyles so fast?  I wanted to get a sharpie and trace the outline on the first dress and I would have taken the same sharpie and scribbled all over the second one. I so don't get how she always looks so bad when it's her job to look so good.
  • Add fashion designer to Ryan Seacrest's portfolio. Ryan bagged Burberry for his new Distinctions tuxedo line. Quite the mogul and adds fuel to the gay rumors.
  • Rosamund Pike from the neck up…gorgeous, neck down…hideous. The dress was SO unflattering and you could TOTALLY see her nips through it. I know it was her first trip down the red carpet but it was a bad trip.
  • Gina Rodriguez on the other hand…amazing. Who knew she had such a great figure? The dress, shoes and hair were perfect.
  • Manicam is back in full force but was hardly used at all on the red carpet. Just get rid of it!
  • Eddie Redmayne's velvet jacket - not my fave
  • I could swear I could see Amy Adams cellulite through her dress. Not sure if she even has cellulite but the dress made it look like she did
  • Naomi Watts had a diamond lizard necklace and a yellow dress. Hated both but she's still gorgeous
  • How cool was it that Jack Black was taking selfie's with everyone's cellphones?
  • Ethan Hawke always looks like he needs a shower and clean clothes to me. I bet he smells like bong water
  • I watch Game of Thrones and have no idea who Sophie Turner is.
  • Lorde looked awesome in her pantsuit
  • Kevin Spacey brought Kate Mara. Kate's belt bugged me
  • Kelly Osbourne's mohawk was super confusing. I need to know what it looks like after she showers
  • Christine Baranski's dress was perfect for her
  • Jessica Chastain's dress was pretty but I could swear she either wore it before or something super similar
  • Julia Louis Dreyfus - incredible as always.
  • I hated Seth Meyers wife's dress. She's a pretty girl, she should have gotten a much prettier dress
  • Matt Bomer…no words. I'm in love with him and if he didn't play for the other team, I'd do anything I could to make him mine.
  • Lena Dunham does everything possible to look worse and worse. I know Ryan Seacrest was thinking to himself "WTF is this chick wearing".
  • Tina and Amy made a red carpet appearance and while I love them both, I hated their dresses. Amy looked like Freuline Maria and Tina looked preggers. Hope they change dresses before their opening number
  • Joshua Jackson and Diane Kruger looked good. All I see is PACEY.
  • Emily Blunt's dress was awesome, hair and earrings a wreck though
  • Allison Willams looked hideous
  • Siena Miller Yuk with a capital Y
  • Ellie Kemper - thumbs up
  • Michael Keaton looked ancient! He's only 63
  • Ruth Wilson from The Affair  was wearing a dress that looked like wallpaper you'd find in a Swinger's house
  • Awwww Maggie and Jake Gyllenhaal came to the Globes together.
  • Loved Crazy Eyes dress
  • Julianne Moore's silvery dress with the feathery bottom was kinda cool.
  • Kate Beckinsale is always stunning. I just don't know how she breathes through those teeny tiny nostrils
  • Taylor Schilling needs a tan she's way took white for that red dress
  • Steve Carrell and his wife Nancy looked great. He's aging beautifully and she seems to look better and better with every red carpet. Money helps
  • Melissa McCarthy said she took different pieces out of her closet to make her dress. It looked it.
  • Wow…Kevin Hart's woman must have had some super tape on that dress. The camera showed her from the side and how we didn't see a nip is beyond me.  Kevin's tiny hands did not stop rubbing her butt.
  • Julianna Marguiles is one of my faves but I didn't love her look at all this time.
  • Adam Levine in a tux. Ahhhhh
  • Amal and George Clooney looked lovely but  I wasn't loving the gloves and Amal looked bored.
  • Kiera Knightly looked like she was in Half-Pint's bloomers
  • Hated Kerry Washington's hair and dress. How does the stylist let those little pieces of hair go?
  • Chrissy Teigen and John Legend are toooo cute. All I think of is "All of Me" when I see the two of them. Do you think he still hums it when she's mad at him?
  • Winner of the night, hands down….JLO. Her Boy Next Door co-star is HOT and I'm betting they totally hooked up after the show
  • Claire Danes dress looked like an afghan from Roseanne's couch
  • Anna Kendrick looked nice but I'm thinking she could use a little Lisa Rinna Lip Plumping stuff
  • Katherine Heigel annoys me and she needed her roots done
  • Jenna Dewan pulled off the yellow dress. I hate yellow in general but she made it work
  • Emma Stone should have told her brother Spencer to do something with his hair. That jewfro with the headband needed a hot oil treatment or something.
  • I love Reese Witherspoon. She looked amazing
  • Kate Hudson looked really good except that her eyebrows were too dark and needed some shaping
  • Jennifer Anniston looked good, not my fave look of hers but good nonetheless. Did you see her rub Kate Hudson's butt? I guess when you're Jen Anniston, you can do that and get away with it.
  • Lupita Nyong'o's dress looked like a hydrangea but I loved it. Hydrangea's are my favorite flower.
  • Benedict Cumberbatch is one odd looking dude and I've never seen one thing that he's been in.
  • Taylor Schilling was doing a yawn photo bomb when Giuliana Rancic did a shot of George Clooney's tequila.
  • Felicity Jones's dress was beautiful. I loved the color especially with her coppery hair color.
  • Time for the showwwwww
Golden Globes

  • Yeah, Amy and Tina changed outfits and looked much better when they walked out on  stage. They played "Who Would You Rather?" busted on North Korea and Bill Cosby and made the audience scream that TV is better than movies. Great job as always.
  • Matthew McConahey's beard's gotta go. No way Camilla's into that thing.
  • Best Supporting Actor in a Drama-J.K.Simmons/Whiplash OF COURSE. See it if you haven't yet and take a Xanax with you to the theatre.
  • 50 Shades of Grey ALERT!
  • Best Supporting Actress in a TV Series, Mini Series or Movie-Joanne Froggett who plays Anna Bates in Downton Abbey
  • Best Mini-Series or TV Movie-Fargo
  • J-Lo' had something cutting into her boob, did you see that?
  • Best Actor Mini-Series or TV Movie-Billy Bob Thornton-Fargo. I still can't believe he was with Angelina Jolie
  • Naomi Watts needs some blotter paper. Wayyyyy tooooo shiny!
  • Hated Birdman. HATED IT but Michael Keaton was awesome.
  • Was that Margaret Cho as the Korean general doing the photo?
  • Yeah free speech! Everyone stand damn it!
  • Love me some Walter White!
  • Best Actress in a TV Series/Musical or Comedy-Gina Rodriguez for Jane the Virgin! That was a shocker. She's great but NO way does she beat Julia or Edie. Great speech though. I got a little teary. I always do when the underdog wins.
  • Best TV Series Comedy/Musical-Transparent. Another shocker, but a great show. If you haven't seen it, check it out on Amazon Prime. Big win for Amazon! Jill Solloway's outfit was a bit crazy. Great speech.
  • Best Original Score-The Theory of Everything
  • PRINCE is at the GLOBES??? WTF? Another shocking moment
  • Best Original Song in Motion Picture-John Legend & Common for Selma
  • Do you think Stedman ever gets sick of Oprah and her ugly crying?
  • Is Prince pretending to be blind? What's with the cane?
  • Joey Potter and Joshua Jackson both at The Globes…Dawson's Creek alert. Wonder if James Van Der Beek's around?
  • Best Actor in a TV Series/Mini Series/Movie-Matt Bomerrrrrrrrrrr for The Normal Heart. OMG please come over to my team Matt!
  • 2nd velvet jacket of the night worn by Clive Owen, another Brit. Maybe velvet jackets are big across the pond
  • Ricky Gervais of course comes out with the wine glass and busting on the celebs. He rocks and blew off a velvet jacket so maybe it's not a British thing
  • Best Actress in a Motion Picture/Comedy or Musical-Amy Adams for Big Eyes. Nobody's seen it, but congrats Amy. Who's Darren? Her husband? Let me check. Okay…checked…Wikipedia says "Partner since 2002" Amy wasn't prepared and went on a little too long
  • Never realized that Greer Grammar was in Awkward. Dad must be sooooo proud
  • Isn't Kevin Hart so cute? He's sooooo little. Salma Hayek's soooo cute
  • Best Animated Film: How to Your Dragon 2-don't care
  • Okay, add an odd nose to my Kate Hudson's odd look list
  • Jared Leto in the housssssssse and he can speak a little French which is always enjoyable
  • Best Supporting Actress in a Motion Picture-Patricia Arquette for Boyhood, a great film, especially if you have a son. HORRIBLE glasses and another person in need of some blotter paper or powder
  • I'm so confused. Is that Margaret Cho as the North Korea chick? She was right about Orange is the New Black
  • Kristen Wiig and Bill Hader make me laugh just standing there.
  • Best Screenplay-Motion Picture-Birdman which I saw and HATED!!! I didn't understand the movie and I didn't understand the guy who accepted the award for the movie
  • Loved Boyhood
  • Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin together again…can't wait for the new show. Jane is 77 years old.
  • Best Actor in a Comedy-Jeffery Tambor for Transparent BUT IT WASN'T A COMEDY! Good speech JT
  • Colin Farrell was sportin a pornstache
  • Best Foreign FIlm-Leviathan
  • Can't stand Adrien Brody
  • Best Female in a TV Mini Series/Movie-Maggie Gyllenhal for The Honorable Woman. Her bro got the looks in the family. Love seeing him look so proud of his sister.
  • What's going on in that room? Everyone's fanning themselves and super shiny and sweaty looking. Was the AC broken
  • Paul Rudd rules
  • Best TV Series/Drama-I watch um al except The Affair and that's what won. I SO DON'T GET IT! HATE THAT SHOW. No way does it beat Game of Thrones. COME ON…I call bullish*t
  • Catherine Zeta Jones is BACK and looking pretty good
  • I don't know who I can't stand more…Katherine Heigl or David Duchovny
  • Best Actor in a TV Series Drama-Kevin Spacey for House of Cards. YEAH! F word alert!
  • George Clooney Cecil B. DeMille Humanitarian Award time: Julianna and Don  were cute…shocked they both weren't invited to the wedding!  They showed every clip of George but left out his great hair moments in Facts of Life and Roseanne! George was shiny and sweaty and tired looking but who cares, his speech was good and he used the word alchemy in a sentence and apparently does love his new wife regardless of all the tabloids at Stop-n-Shop saying he's leaving her for Sandra Bullock.
  • 34 days til 50 Shades of Gray
  • What's Owen Wilson been up to lately?
  • HATED The Grand Budapest Hotel.
  • Harrison Ford's nose was askew…leaning to the right quite a bit. They must talk a lot about noses in his house. He and Calista in the bathroom mirror could talk about their noses all day. I know I could probably talk about their noses all day too.
  • Best Director/Motion Picture-Richard Linklater for Boyhood I need to download that song. I meant to do it when I saw the movie
  • Chris Pratt & Anna Faris-cute
  • Best Actress TV Series Drama-Ruth Wilson for The Affair. TOTAL BS! NO WAY DOES SHE BEAT ROBIN WRIGHT
  • Best Actor in a Motion Picture Comedy/Musical-Michael Keaton for Birdman. He was awesome but I hated the movie. Great speech
  • Oprah Winfrey comes out and where does the camera go…Gayle…not Stedman…Gayle! Like I said…does Stedman every get sick of O and G? I would. I bet Gayle's a bit of a c*ck blocker sometimes.
  • Channing's spray tan was a bit much but he's still super cute. Didn't love Foxcatcher.
  • Best Motion Picture Comedy/Musical-The Grand Budapest Hotel. HATED IT
  • Best Actress in a Motion Picture Drama-Matthew McConahey seemed to have more of a southern drawl than normal didn't he? Anyway…Julianne Moore won for Still Alice.
  • Gwyneth looked good in her pink gown
  • Best Actor in a Motion Picture Drama-Eddie Redmayne for The Theory fo Everything. Shocker, but he was really good!
  • Best Motion Picture Drama presented by the one and only Meryl Streep to Boyhood. Wow!
  • There wasn't enough Amy and Tina in my opinion. We'll definitely miss them next year.
Glee
It's only because I pride myself on finishing what I start that I am still watching this train wreck. OMG, WHY didn't they just put the nail in the coffin last season or better yet 2 seasons ago? WHY? Watching Friday's premiere was soooo painful that I'm tempted to just blow off the remaining episodes. It's totally ridiculous that the entire original cast is back at McKinley. None of them graduated from college and all of them are involved in some way with coaching a Glee club. None of them have teaching degrees, none of them have experience and all of them have given up on their dreams pretty easily. Rachel's TV show got cancelled, Kurt and Blaine are on-again/off-again and the entire original cast is back to save the day. I really need to think about this. I may have to give it up for good before the bitter end.

THE OTHER STUFF

-Yeah for me! MTV renewed Finding Carter for a 2nd Season. I love that show. I don't watch America's Best Dance Crew, Catfish or Broke A$$ but they were all renewed too!

-I wonder what Mark Pedowitz is doing with all of his free time? He just announced that he's renewing Arrow, Jane the Virgin, Reign, Supernatural (11th season!) The 100, The Flash, The Originals, and of course, the one, the only Vampire Diaries for a 7th Season. Mark said the jury is still out officially on Hart of Dixie but Beauty and the Beast and America's Next Top Model will also both be back. With all of those decisions made, there's plenty of time for golf, tennis or maybe a French cooking class? No pressure for this years upfronts. If I were him, I wouldn't even bother. Save the dough, send us all a cool bag or a USB in the shape of a hot topless vampire and we'll all be happy.

Hey guys...Quite a few of you have expressed some interest in supplying trivia questions or taking over as guest trivia correspondent and I am MORE THAN HAPPY to have the help. So feel free to email me with questions or let me know if you do in fact want a week assigned to you and I will let you know when that will be. First up, Eric Schwartz from CNN will be taking over this week with Golden Globes Trivia.

Monday's Trivia Question: Eric's first Golden Globe themed Trivia Question: Most actors/actresses are identified with a signature role.  Name an actor and an actress that have won a Golden Globe for Best Actor/Actress for 2 different TV roles. I admit, this is a tough one. If I didn't know the answers I would have had to look it up. I'll give you a clue. Both the actor and actress presented at the Globes last night. The actress was nominated for a current role she plays. The actor in question is not one of my faves at all. Let's see how everyone does.

Just so I do in fact get some responses...here's an easy bonus Golden Globe trivia question. Who was Miss Golden Globe and helped the stars find their way off stage last night?
