THE SHOWS
Married at First Sight
I'm not sure I've ever mentioned this, but, I have a sister who's into TV too, but she's a complete reality show junkie. She told me about Married at First Sight a while ago but since I don't normally watch dating shows, I didn't think anything of it. This season, she actually knows one of the girls getting married and since there was nothing on at 8pm last night, I figured I'd check out the "Matchmaking Special" which of course lead to the first episode, which means now...I'm in. I'm such a sucker! I was in when I saw that one of the "experts" names is Dr. Pepper! Dr. Pepper Schwartz, but still, Dr. Pepper. Lots and lots AND lots of pre show stuff then finally the 6 contestants were revealed. The premise is exactly what the title says, 3 couples meet AT THE ALTAR and get married. If after 6 weeks they don't want to stay married, they get divorced. My sisters friend is Jacklyn and she finallllly met her husband and guess what??? She didn't like what she saw. Of course this was just at the altar, now we'll see what happens AFTER the wedding. There are 2 other couples but we haven't seen what happens with them yet. Oyyyyy I don't need this show in my life, but of course, I'm totally hooked.

One Big Happy
I had to check out One Big Happy last night. I love all things Ellen and she's the producer so what the hell. It was okay. I'm not a huge Elisha Cuthbert fan in general. I couldn't stand her in 24 so I never watched Happy Endings and I'm probably not going to watch One Big Happy either. Elisha plays Lizzie the lesbian who lives with her straight guy best friend, Luke who looks a lot like Ryan Reynolds. Luke meets illegal British alien Prudence who seems to be naked a lot. They fell in love and got married in Vegas in less than a week. When they came home from their wedding with their big news, Lizzie had news of her own. She's preggers. So now…they're ONE BIG HAPPY. Get it?  No season pass for me, sorry Ellen.

Real Housewives of Beverly Hills
Thank god next week's the Season finale. I'm ready for the knock down drag out reunion special. The girls ended their time in Amsterdam with a lovely Brandi-less dinner on a canal. Brandi ended her time in Amsterdam with a lovely 22 year old who hasn't figured out how to drink without the stirrer poking him in the cheek. Back at home, Brandi and Yolanda went for some spa treatments. Brandi got a 14 carat gold facial and Yolanda had a vitamin drip. Only in LA. Everyone else felt Kyle should talk with Kim about her "situation." Kyle invited Kim to her brand new place in Palm Springs which was amazing, but it sure pissed Kim off since she thinks Kyle stole the Palm Springs house their Mom left them in her will. Kyle burnt the dinner, tears were shed, and the credits rolled. I guess we'll find out in the finale if they're still speaking. If they're not, the reunion will be even better. Lisa's now an ordained minister and marries gay couples at Pump and Eileen's home doing homework with her son who looks a lot like Melissa Rivers son, Cooper. That's it.

THE OTHER STUFF

-I like the idea of CBS's new app, "Viewers to Volunteers." Watch CBS News videos sponsored by Toyota. Accumulate points that turn into charity donations of my choosing. I don't actually spend any money or get the tax benefit, Toyota does, but my charity still wins. Pretty cool actually. I gotta remember to download that App and give it a shot.

-The Schitts Creek cast isn't up it at all, there in it for another season.  Eugene Levy, Catherine O'Hara and the rest of the cast and crew just got the good news from the POP people. Congrats guys!

Wednesday's Trivia Question: Today's IMDB description: The trials and tribulations of small town Texas football players, their friends, family, and coaching staff. Name the show.
