-I was out at the Tribune Upfront Party last night, which is always a great night.  Lots of amazing friends, CW stars and this year...a lot of you guys...WWTM readers!  I just can't get over how many of you enjoy reading this blog everyday, you all had some great ideas, great feedback and the support was truly overwhelming...THANK YOU!

-Due to my partying ways, I only got to see 2 shows this morning...30 ROCK's season finale which was pretty good and basically wrapped up the season with SPOILER ALERT: Liz declaring she is ready for a baby with Chriss or without Chriss is yet to be determined, but if it is up to the fake Kim Jong Il, the baby daddy would be Jack.  Jack and Avery divorced in a lovely ceremony, and Hazel and Kenneth made out and grosssed ME out!

-I just got to Sunday's NURSE JACKIE, so I am sure nobody needs the SPOILER ALERT warning, but just in case...Having anyone "stay" with you could be enough on its own to pop some pills, but Jackie has been able to stay clean even with Zoey moving in, wearing a Kimono, and making breakfast...add Kevin's desire for full custody and you definitely think she's gonna cave...but...nope...not this week.  I love that Coop (Jenny Garth's ex) believes that O'Hara's baby is his...I would love it even more if it WAS his, guess we'll have to wait for it to be born and have a DNA test since O'Hara has no idea who the dad is.

-Yesterday the CW was the final network to present their upfront.  I was lucky enough to be there live to see Flo rida perform in some super cool bedazzled works of art.  It's a tough crowd, but they seemed to enjoy the performance and then they got right to the shows...so since you definitely don't want to hear this white girl from NJ rap...let me get right to it too:

  • ARROW is about a gorgeous billionaire, who didn't wear a shirt in the clip which is always a good sign, he gets lost on a desert island and when he's found he becomes a sort of Robin Hood superhero that fights bad guys using...wait for it...arrow's...among other things.  I'm not doing it justice...it looked good!
  • EMILY OWENS MD stars Meryl Streep's distractingly identical daughter, Mamie Gummer as a first year intern...this one honestly seems like GREY'S light.  It's scheduled after HART OF DIXIE which is a good place for it.  I don't watch medical shows, so it's automatically not getting a season pass...doesn't mean it's not good, it's just not my genre
  • THE CARRIE DIARIES will premiere in January after the series finale of GOSSIP GIRL.  The SEX IN THE CITY prequel looked cute,  but it is supposed to be taking place in 1984 and it really didn't look like 1984 in the clip.  Hoping that gets worked out
  • CULT seemed confusing and scary...this one is a show within a show type thing.  There was a lot of buzz, but I definitely need to see the entire episode to see if I can even understand this one.
  • BEAUTY AND THE BEAST looked good, another topless hot guy and an update on the theme we all know pretty well by now.
I thought the CW looked better than it has in a while.  I have always been a fan of the network and really hope that some of these shows help to get it back on track.  If it was me working along side Mark Pedowitz, I would just run THE VAMPIRE DIARIES 5 days a week and I would have insisted he keep RINGER.  I am truly disappointed that this show is gone and that another network didn't see its value and pick it up.

-Really sad to hear that Donna Summer passed away from cancer yesterday.  I loved her and remember the disco days at the roller rink fondly.  "Heaven Knows" was one of my favorites...playing it now as I type this. RIP DS

-Facebook goes public today...the share price will start at $38.00 which makes the company's value 104 BILLION bucks.  This will be the 3rd largest IPO ever.  GM doesn't seem to see the value in Facebook and has dropped the 10MM it had been spending on the Social Network from it's advertising budget. Ruh Roh...

WWTM Weekend Movie Suggestion:  THE SOCIAL NETWORK, which traces back to the start of FACEBOOK was an awesome movie written by Aaron Sorkin.  If you haven't seen it, you really should...especially now.

Friday's final Howard Stern Trivia Question: What are Howard Stern's parents names?

There will be 5 bonus Howard Stern Trivia Questions on the blog over the weekend, for anyone interested.
