The answer to Wednesday's Trivia Question: Okay so yes, Jessica Pare starred in both Jack & Bobby and Mad Men, but I did say ACTOR not ACTRESS...I was looking for John Slattery, but I did give credit to everyone who did submit Jessica because I'm feeling generous and grateful for all of your kind words the past few days.

Big Brother
I was nervous to watch BB last night after Sunday's episode. Between the racist remarks that we all witnessed and everything I've been hearing about in the house via the live feeds, my Summer guilty pleasure was causing me stress. Thankfully, I was pleasantly surprised that the show seemed back on track last night. Still lots of ridiculousness, but at least it was the stuff we're all used to and nothing like Sunday's episode. So, that being said...let's go to the bullet points:
I was really hoping to love Camp. My son is away at sleepaway camp, I've never been to sleepaway camp, and was hoping that this show would bring that feeling, that experience to me. It didn't. I'm not saying I didn't like the show. It was fine, and again, with not much on, I'll probably keep watching, but it just wasn't what I expected and wasn't what I wanted. I think the first issue I had was that the camp in question is a family camp. Which I've never heard of before. What families can go to camp for an entire Summer? The concept makes no sense to me at all. Is the place a resort like a Woodloch Pines? If so, why would you have counselors and CIT's there? I always enjoy Rachel Griffiths, and she's cute in this. She plays Mac, the owner of the camp who is recently divorced and needs money to "save the camp". Of course there's the snooty rival camp/resort on the other side of the lake with a cute nemesis for Mac to battle and sleep with named Roger. There are various staff members that all have secret issues and of course there's Mac's sex crazed son Buzz. I wanted a Friday Night Lights version of camp and that's not what I got. It's watchable though. I'm going to wait until next week thought before giving it a season pass.
NEWS & INFORMATION
-Cote de Pablo who has played Agent Ziva David on NCIS for the past 8 years is leaving the series. With 18 million viewers checking out the season finale, NCIS is the biggest drama on television right now, but Ziva's probably bored and one of those actresses who wants to grow and evolve and get into movies and new challenges, blah, blah, blah, blah. One thing Cote...make sure you're sure about this and remember what happened to David Caruso!

Thankfully, I was pleasantly surprised that the show seemed back on track last night. Still lots of ridiculousness, but at least it was the stuff we're all used to and nothing like Sunday's episode. So, that being said...let's go to the bullet points:
- Can't be Big Brother without tears from Helen. Anyone counting, Helen cried twice this episode. Once from game shenanigans and once because she missed her kids. WOMAN UP HELEN!
- Candace keeps talking about her theory that there is a boys alliance, now she needs to DO something about it.
- Jeremy is such a tool
- Isn't that Chess table with checkers seats SO cool?
- Do you think that Nick could possibly be gay? NOT THAT THERE'S ANYTHING WRONG WITH IT, but he seems to have zero interest in any of the girls in the house. Maybe he's just smart and staying focused, but these girls are throwing themselves at him and he wants no part of it. Just a theory.
- I can't believe America is going to continue to vote for Elissa as MVP, must be the shoes and catsuit.
- I didn't think putting Jeremy up as the 3rd nominee was a good idea. Backdooring him is the only way to get him out. Bad idea Elissa.
- Helen and Aaryn's secret alliance, if it actually happens, could be amazing... if I trusted Aaryn. I don't.
- So far best confessional commentary award is going to Amanda, she makes me laugh with some of the stuff that comes out of her mouth.
- Most annoying confessional commentary award goes to Jeremy, the self proclaimed "manimal" who wanted to guard his meat" when referring to his showmance girlfriend Kaitlyn and not a shell steak in the freezer.
- Don't you think Kaitlyn looks like Debi Mazar?
- I gotta think Howard is ultra conflicted in the BB house. He's trying to be a good christian but he's surrounded with evil and sin 24/7. Can't be easy...better go pray for him.
- Who at CBS approved Gina Marie's diaper/bikini top/head bib POV costume? WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU?
- Nice to see Brittney even if it was only for a few minutes prior to the POV convo. She's WAY preggers and due any minute and it reminded me of some of the better players from the past which once again made me ask...WHO CAST THIS SHOW THIS SUMMER?
- Do you say MOBILE or MOBEEL? I say MOBEEL.
- I cannot believe that Jeremy won the MOBEEL competition...
- Kaitlyn and Jeremy together makes me ill
- Jeremy made some big mistakes with his alliance when he went to them one by one...I see cracks already forming at THE MOVING COMPANY headquarters building.
- Elissa made the right move by replacing Jeremy with Nick, lets hope it works in her favor.
