Big Brother Bullets
For all of you Time Warner customers...I'm SO sorry for your loss. I hope you have Cablevision or FiOS or Direct TV family and friends nearby.
  • The HOH competition picked up right back where we left off on Thursday, everyone on those rollers.
  • Once again, Candice was complaining. GET A GRIP OR GET OUT CANDICE!
  • This week Andy's wearing the Grizzly Bear shirt
  • Pizza Boy doesn't work out EVER...so when he's not delivering pizza, and he's not working out, what is it that he is doing? Not trying to find a second job...that's for sure
  • Spencer was out of the HOH competition first and in his mystery box was a bullhorn that he has to use every time he speaks until after the nomination ceremony. No strategizing out loud for him. Don't tell him any secrets people!
  • Candice won 5000K in her mystery box and who does she thank...JESUS or course
  • Helen won a backyard BBQ for herself and 3 other houseguests
  • GM and Mcrag were negotiating for the HOH as they were the last two left on the rollers. GM promised safety for him and Amanda, 3 nights in the HOH room and he could chose the nominees and he STILL didn't take the deal and guess what...HE LOST!
  • GM is the new HOH
  • Spencer's bullhorn is HILARIOUS
  • Helen was pouring it on WAYYYY too thick when she was congratulating GM on her HOH win.
  • Awww 2 racists just sittin around chatting, isn't that quaint.
  • Photo of Nick and GinaMarie in GM's HOH goodie basket, what was Big Brother trying to do to this chick?
  • Andy's synopsis of GinaMarie's HOH swag was hilarious.
  • GM started crying when she saw the photo of her her and Nick. OMG she is NUTS
  • Aaryn and Jessie's run was awkward and I'm not sure why Jessie was so angry at not being invited to the BBQ. Aaryn kept her promise to Helen, Helen wanted to thank her. What's so difficult to understand?
  • Amanda and Jessie's blow out about not being invited to the BBQ was intense. Amanda fought dirty and McCrae and his McCrag were very uncomfortable.
  • Was Amanda wearing her underwear to the circle couch?
  • McCrae wasn't happy at all with Amanda's attitude and the way she treated Jessie and he apparently does have a pair of b*lls. He called his woman OUT!
  • GinaMarie's HOH Nomination speech was probably the most idiotic ever. I feel bad for the Time Warner peeps who missed it.  Jessie and Candice were nominated for eviction.
Real Housewives of NJ
Lets start with the easy stuff from last nights episode of Real Housewives of NJ. The Joe Gorga Hat Count was a whopping 5. I'm pretty sure that's a record, but I could be wrong. However, Joe was wearing a hard hat over his black beanie cap which could become a new trend among NJ construction workers. I'm sure he'll be selling the Gorga hard/soft hat on Watch What Happens Live during an upcoming episode.  Okay, lets go by family for the rest of the updates.  The Giudice's had the Gorga's over for dinner after a year of not speaking. The kids were out of their minds with excitement. Even Milania was happy.  Teresa was in the kitchen cooking and asked her if she was going to cook for her husband when she got older and her reply was..."No he's going to cook for me". You go girl! I honestly thought the dinner would end up in a brawl, but everything went well. The Gorga's even told Teresa about Joe's opportunity to do a billboard for their favorite tanning salon, Sizzle Tan.  Caroline had her crew to the Hoboken place for dinner and came down pretty hard on Albie. His dad stuck up for him and even told Caroline to shut the F up! Yeah Albert! I'm so sick of Caroline after just a few years of watching her, Albert's been married to her for a long time, I'm sure he's sick of her too! Now I know why he works so much. Caroline's got nothing to do these days so she's decided to be a professional sh*t stirrer. Well at least she's working hard at it. The Wakile's and The Gorga's took Rosie to a gay bar to help her find a woman. Rosie was SO embarrasing. I felt bad that I was so embarrassed by her because I really do like her, but she's gotta get some major game going. Last but certainly not least, what's a season of Real Housewives of NJ without a sit down confrontation in a private room at a NJ Restaurant? Jaqueline and Teresa met for such a sit down which is never a good idea and of course this one wasn't going well, but the episode left us in the middle of their meeting.  ENOUGH already ladies. Just decide NOT to be friends and MOVE ON!

I was exhausted on Sunday night and couldn't handle Newsroom, I tuned in to Beyond Spelling Manor to watch Candy Spelling shop for a NYC apartment instead.

-Well, if you have Time Warner Cable, then you don't have CBS or Showtime at the moment.  TWC pulled the plug on Friday night at 5pm as they said they would if Les didn't agree to the new terms and as Les has stated...he just wouldn't do it. So who loses? The customer that's who. The Big Brother Fan, the Under the Dome Fan, the Dexter Fan and even those of you that are Ray Donovan fans. I'm betting that this does get solved before football season starts in a few weeks, but lets hope it's sooner than that especially because I'm going on vacation in a couple of weeks and you won't even have my witty reviews of your faves to rely on.

-While the lawyers weren't getting the deal nailed last week, Les did speak at the TCA's. I think I had mentioned this a few posts back. Les's Chief Research Officer, David Poltrack,  had some interesting info about everyone's favorite demographic, A18-49. Basically he said that advertisers shouldn't really covet this demo as much as they think they should.  In the past decade, we have continuously heard about the decline of ratings in this segment, but according to CRO, DP, that's because of a couple of interesting facts: 1) There are less A18-49 year olds now than there were 10 years ago and 2) the younger end of the demo is living in someone else's home other than their own.  Whether it's a college dorm room or back to their old room in their parents home 82% of 18-24 year olds live in someone else's home and even more interesting, 56% of 24-34 year olds aren't paying their own rent. In addition, the younger segment is watching more online. Normally I'd poke holes in the story, but you know I'm not a fan of our Nielsen ratings currency at all and have always believed in behavior, programming enviornment, and now more than ever Social ratings and rankings.  Poltrack insists that the A18-49 demo doesn't matter as much as it once did and that we all need to broaden our focus.  You're preaching to the choir DP. I'm right there with ya bud!

-FX's Summer drama, The Bridge set a record for FX. Not sure it's one they should really put out there to all of us advertisers though, The Bridge's premiere episode set FX's time shifting record and gained 88% in RA18-59 and 67% in Total Viewers. As an advertiser, I'm thinking that this is great for FX and sucky for me since most of the shows audience PROBABLY skipped my commercial.

-Bravo and Andy Cohen launched the Watch What Happens Live Clubhouse YouTube Channel on Friday.  So if you can't get enough Bravo, enough Andy or enough Housewives (and how can't really?) there's now even more over on the channel, here's the link: http://www.youtube.com/user/wwhlbybravo

-On Friday, it was announced that Ellen DeGeneres will be back to host the Oscars this year. It must be early Altzheimers because I honestly have no recollection at all of her hosting. Scary right? Granted it was 6 1/2 years ago, but seriously don't remember it at all. Had to Google it.

Monday's Trivia Question: Name the act that won America's Got Talent last season.
