Final numbers aren't in yet for Sunday night, but Downton Abbey over on PBS averaged 8.2 million viewers. All those fans dying to see if Mr. Bates would find out the truth about his wife took a break from The Grammy's and watched Downton.

Pirates aren't my thing unless Johnny Depp's involved, so I didn't watch Black Sails on Starz. 3.5 million viewers tuned in over the weekend and delivered the strongest premiere for a new series in the Starz networks history. Anyone watch it?

THE SHOWS

I was lucky enough to go see my all time favorite, Billy Joel, at MSG last night. Billy's playing The Garden once a month until the public stops buying tickets. If you're a Billy fan, a REAL Billy fan, then you MUST see him. His monthly show is for the hardcore fan. The set list was incredible for those that appreciate the deeper cuts in addition to the hits.  Because I was out late, I only got to watch one show last night.

How I Met Your Mother aka How Your Mother Met Me
We still don't know her name, but now we at least know a bit more about Mom. The first love of her life, Max, died on her 25th birthday but left her a Ukulele as a gift.  Thank god he did and that she ended up playing it at The Farmhampton Inn on the eve of Barney's wedding. If she hadn't been playing this song (name it for 10 points) on the other side of Ted's wall, they probably would have never met.  Well...they didn't actually meet in this episode so the title was a bit misleading. In fact, the entire show recapped, from Mom's POV, all of the near miss Ted meetings over the course of time.  We met Mom's 2 roommates, Kelly, and Cindy. We all remember Cindy because she dated Ted and then went on to Bluebell Alabama where she was a doctor involved in a love triangle, but I digress. In addition to Rachel Bilson, the yellow umbrella also returned for episode 200. What a great gift. Happy 200th HIMYM!

THE OTHER STUFF

I'm totally setting my DVR for Rosie O'Donnell's return to The View on Friday 2/7. This will be her first visit back since her departure from the show in 2007. Can you believe its been 5 years since she split?  Remember the split screen between her and Elizabeth Hasselback? That was so juicy. Guess it took Rosie a few years to let it go and she's ready to come back to the show for a chat.

Uh Oh...I may have another Sunday show to add to my viewing. All Star Amazing Race that premieres on 2/23 will feature Big Brother crazy couple Brendan and Rachel! I watched the last time they were on, and now...they'reeeee baaaaaack.

I'm sure that all of this social media is supposed to help, but now it's getting to be a tiny bit too much. We knew how to vote on American Idol, but they like to evolve, change and grow because they think that's what we want. If I actually watched Idol, maybe I would care more, but now there's more ways to get your votes in. You can vote via Google Search, and Facebook of course has to get involved. So many ways to be counted, and way more people vote for Idol than for President so I guess it's important to provide as many options as possible right? How about just a standardized voting app where you can vote for everything. You activate it when you want someone to vote and pick if they vote just once or a million times and we all just use one standard voting tool for EVERYTHING. I like that idea much better.

You better sit down for this one. BIG, no I mean HUGE change for The Sundance Channel. They too have decided a rebrand is in order and this one will really mess you up. WAY worse than The Military Channel going to AHC or whatever it is now. American Heroes Channel right? Anyway, The Sundance Channel will now be known as...wait for it...SundanceTV (no space is correct)

I don't know if someone at HBO reads this thing or if the plans to post their Sunday night shows early came about because of some football game but who cares? Girls & True Detectives are already posted on HBO GO which means I will be able to get my train wreck coverage in early this week! HURRAY.  Hey HBO...how about posting all of the Sunday shows early? Who'd it hurt?

Breaking Bad fans rejoice. Mike Ehrmantraut will be in the prequel, Better Call Saul.  Can you imagine what he was like before he mellowed out? Guess we're going to find out. So much pre-show buzz, I hope it lives up to all of our expectations.

Tuesday's Superbowl Trivia Question: Name the 4 current teams that have NEVER played in a Superbowl. (I will give you points for each correct team)
