THE SHOWS

The MTV Movie Awards
  • Conan's 50 Celebrity Cameo Challenge was a fun way to start the show off. Everyone's trying to beat Ellen's Oscar selfie I guess.
  • Can you name the married couple in the cameo challenge?
  • Can you name any of the SNL'ers in the cameo challenge?
  • Can you name the one Olympian in the cameo challenge?
  • I could go on and on with the cameo challenge.
  • Best Product Placement (fake award but real product placement) Pepsi/Hobbit
  • Best Kiss Fight (fake award) was fake and stupid
  • Conan, Adam Devine and a gospel choir performed the song "Not Gonna Sing a Song"
  • Lupita Nyong'o was wearing a very cool Skittles dress with those glasses that are supposed to make you look smart. They worked
  • Best On-Screen Transformation-Jared Leto. He wants Lupita bad.
  • Jonah Hill was sweating…A LOT
  • Best Comedic Performance: Jonah Hill won and was even sweatier and grosser than then when I commented during the above bullet
  • Shailene Woodley's dress was the color of baby poo
  • The drummer from 21 Pilots and the people in white ski masks were very disturbing but  they got my attention. I didn't fast forward so the gimmick worked.
  • Every time I see Chris Pratt I just go right back to Everwood and think about Efrem…where is that kid? Looked it up. He was on Rookie Blue, a show I don't watch.
  • Jared Leto's hitchin a ride to Coachella??? I'll drive you Jared!
  • Best Villain: Mila Kunis for Oz. Mila was sporting some major high heels and hiding that bump pretty well. No Ashton anywhere in sight.
  • Best Shirtless Performance (My fave award ever) Zac of course and he took it OFF and it was awesome. Thanks Rita Ora.
  • Trailblazer Award: Channing Tatum. Jonah Hill again…still sweating.
  • Was Orlando Bloom wearing a shoehorn around his neck?
  • Eminem and Rhianna performed "Monster" I just kept thinking about what it must be like at Em's place when he's dying his hair that color blond.
  • Best Kiss: Presented by Seth Rogan, Dave Franco's and Zac. They all had to kiss people from the audience. Seth got his Mom but I'm hoping she was an actress and not his real Mom. That would have been WRONG. The award went to: Will Poulter who is British and has some crazy eyebrows and all I could do was stare at Zac the entire time.
  • Kate Upton, Cameron Diaz, Leslie Mann and Nicki Minaj all looked very tall and very beautiful and man what a boooooty on Nicki Minaj
  • Best Male Performance: Josh Hutchinson
  • Best Female Performance: Jennifer Lawrence who wasn't there
  • Paul Walker tribute
  • Best Fight: Orlando Bloom-so not a fan at all
  • The Generation Award was presented to Mark Wahlberg by a very Skinny Turtle, Vincent Chase and Johnny Drama. Nice arms. Not sure what the water bottle was doing in the back pants pocket. Mark always comes off like a jerk to me.
  • Ellie Goulding and Zedd performed
  • Best Movie presented by Johnny Depp went to: The Hunger Games
Nurse Jackie
Jackie's back. She's kickin butt at work, in love with the cop, swimming at the gym AND back on pills she gets from the towel chick who works there. Like mother like daughter, Grace is doing dope too! Dr. Roman's off her probation and Jackie's in charge of her. Eddie's doin someone other than Jackie in the pill room. Zoey and Prentiss are still an item and everyone knows they are. Jackie got electrocuted and met a new AA friend and Coop's got a few things to do before he turns 40. Looks like a good season ahead. Glad Jackie's back but wish it wasn't on Sunday.

The Good Wife
We knew that Alicia would lose it at some point. First she went with alcohol, then anger, then depression and then back to anger again. I sort of like her angry and I loved that she finally got rid of Peter. What about Kalinda? First she gave Cary some blue you know whats and then she ended up going back to Jenna but was only using her for her files and got slapped pretty hard for it. Kalinda got what she wanted as she usually does though. Damian out of LG, but it looks like Michael J. Fox is in instead of Alicia thanks to David Lee. MJF has the time now that his show is cancelled. I was hoping Alicia would merge with Diane somehow. There's still time. Lets see how this plays out.

Game of Thrones
Can you imagine attending the craziest, most f'ed up wedding ever? If you can't imagine what that would be like, I can assure you it was King Joffrey and Margorie's wedding on Game of Thrones. OMFG is all I can really say about it. All I want is for Lord Tyrion to be happy. I love him and his life sucks SO BAD. Everyone hates him, everyone messes with him. He had to send the love of his life (who happened to be a whore) away. He is truly alone in Kings Landing. His nephew, the King, is one of the worst villains EVER on primetime TV. So I'm watching this wedding and the King is behaving more horribly than ever before. He's tormenting, embarrassing and emasculating his uncle in front of the entire kingdom, his wife, his father, everyone and then just when you thought you can't take one more minute of it, VINDICATION, the most horrible person ever suffers an awesome, perfect, horrifying, death. While I watched it unfold, in shock and with the biggest smile on my face I finally thought yeah, Lord Tyrion will be okay…but NOOOOOOO, his happiness lasted 10 seconds at most. Cersei, the King's Mom blamed Tyrion (her brother) for poisoning her son and had him taken away and the credits roll. The writers of primetime TV are killing IT and killing everyone this year.  I didn't think we'd get another shocking death so soon. Awesome.

Hart of Dixie
Lamest episode of the season…absolutely NOTHING happened. Okay CW, if you aren't renewing this one, just let us know already, I could use the space on my DVR. If you are planning on renewing it, how about declaring that next season is officially the last one (it could be a 1/2 season) and wrap it up already. Mega wedding in the town square. AB and LaVon, Wade and Zoe, George and Lemon, Brick and someone and let's give everyone in BlueBell the happily ever after thing and be done.

Vikings
Sure Floki is a freak and now he's going to be someone's husband and father.  While he was marrying his knocked up bride another couple was also getting married and forming yet another alliance against Ragnar Lothbrook. As I predicted, Lagertha who's now an Earl, came back to Ragnar's village with her men and 4 ships to join forces. All good and then the freak show began. Ever heard of a "Blood Eagle?" Neither did I until this episode of Vikings. It's a crazy method of execution by torture that the Vikings really did perform. So in addition to everything else Ragnar Lothbrook can do, he's also a crazy butcher who can cut the ribs of a human by the spine, break them so they look like blood stained wings and then pull the lungs out through the wounds in the victims back. Not sure I needed to see that, but the entire town watched Ragnar perform this on Yar Borg. The Vikings were crazy.

Joan and Melissa
As a dog lover who's lost 2 dogs already and is currently the Mom to a 16 year old pup who is deaf and close to blind, I know only too well the pain and loss of putting a dog down. Seeing Joan go through it wasn't easy, but I guess it is one of the occasions where having money helps makes things easier. Joan's funeral for her dog Max was a bit over the top, but it helped Joan get through it and that's all that matters isn't it? The visit to the taxidermist was a bit weird. I'm glad Joan didn't go through with stuffing Max. I can't imagine seeing my dog stuffed and up on a shelf staring at me all day. It would freak me the F out big time. Melissa and Duncan are officially over which bums me out. Duncan's hot and Melissa could have kept him around, but can't fault the girl for wanting more.

THE OTHER STUFF

-This week after the Scandal finale, Jimmy Kimmel will air a special Scandal themed episode called: Jimmy Kimmel Live: Behind the Scandalabra. Jimmy will have Shonda Rhimes, the cast, a never before seen blooper reel and a full anthology of all of Jimmy's Spanish language spinoff "Escandalo." Don't worry, I'll pull the good parts for you guys and have it ready on Friday for you.

-I'm thinking that given the opportunity, most men would choose Sports over Entertainment. Steve Koonin's doing just that. He's leaving Turner Entertainment for the Atlanta Hawks. I get it...I really do.
