Fargo delivered a .8 RA18-49 and 2.6 million viewers. I'm sure that L+7 numbers will be even bigger. The question is...will people tune in for week 2? I won't be and from the sounds of those of you that did check out the premiere, you won't be either. Anyone like Fargo?

THE SHOWS
Survivor
I admit that Tony is playing a good game. I can't say he doesn't know what he's doing, but he's annoying. That GIGANTIC tattoo, the constant paranoia he's overplaying the game. I can't believe LJ didn't see that. I can't believe he's gone. Great move on Tony's part but now he has a huge target on his back (and huge tattoo on his front) which will make him even more annoying and more paranoid.  Kass needs to get everyone to see that he has to go. On a side note, even though the guys showered, those masseurs had to be grossed out touching their bug bitten, pruny feet. No way I'm touching those things.

The Americans
I think I have it tough just trying to be a full time working Mom, but Elizabeth's gotta kill people while the kids are at school and get home in time to do the laundry, reprimand Henry for breaking into the neighbors house to play video games, and decode messages from Mother Russia that came in while she was out. I guess I can't complain. Of course parenting seems to be the thing that does take a back seat. Seemed to me that Phillip and Elizabeth waited at least a day to talk to Henry about the video game incident which was weird. Phillip bought a Camaro Z28 which was THE hot car back in the day. He had the hat, the sunglasses and the leather jacket and was looking mighty American. Lines are getting blurry across the board aren't they? Everyone seems to be either playing both sides or thinking about the sides they are playing on and questioning things a bit. Everyone except Elizabeth, she's the only one still laser focused on the mission and what she was trained for.
Total Bad Wig Count (TBWC) for this episode: 5

THE OTHER STUFF

-To celebrate Barbara Walters prior to her departure from The View, all 11 co-hosts will come together for a big chat fast on 5/15. Yep...all of them. Could be a very loud, hot mess, but assuming someone will keep things in check throughout the broadcast. All those yentas together on one stage?  I was able to list all of them without looking it up. Can you?

-Let's hope that Kerri Russell and Matthew Rhys don't break up, could make things super awkward now that their show's been renewed for a third season by FX. The Americans will be back which is good news to all of us who have been watching and enjoying.

-I haven't seen Spike TV's To Catch a Contractor show with Adam Carolla, but my husband has and really loves it. Good news...Adam (and my husband) are getting a second season.

-The Game of Thrones "Purple Wedding" episode marked the 3rd time that the show has broken an all-time piracy record. 193,418 people were sharing the episode after it premiered on Sunday which beat the previous 171,572 who shared the season finale last year. It's estimated that there were 1.5 million downloads…all of which were illegal.

-While it's not enough to turn me into a Mets fan, I'm loving the way the Brooklyn Cyclones are celebrating the 25th anniversary of the airing of the Seinfeld pilot. (Yes…you're reading that right…7/5/14 will be 25 years!) They're turning the stadium, MCU Park, into Vandelay Industries Park for the night. The foul poles will be called Festivus Poles. The players will wear puffy shirts and fans will get a Keith Hernandez bobblehead. Any real latex salesman gets in to the game for free. Mailmen honoring Newman will throw out the first pitches, there will be a cereal eating contest, an Elaine dance-off and a big game of Risk. Love it!
