THE SHOWS
Suits
Okay so I binged Suits and fell in love with it and now I'm all caught up with it and SO annoyed with it and think it needs to end. I almost think that it jumped the shark. Here's the thing. EVERYONE KNOWS THE SECRET! EVERYONE. When is a secret not a secret anymore? If I were Mike Ross, I would kiss everyone at Pearson Specter Litt's butt, especially Harvey's and yet, he's become quite the cocky associate. Jessica just lost Jeff because of the secret and if I were her, I'd leave and start a new firm. One without Mike Ross. I did think that when she showed up at Jeff's place to add him to the secret keeper's list his wife would open the door, or a kid or a male lover or something but no, he had found out she lied to him,  freaked out and broke up with her. Before the big break-up, Jeff did prank Louis and it was a great prank. He paid the receptionist NOT to say his name when she answered the phone. It made him MENTAL. Louis and Donna need their own show. Not sure of the premise yet, give me some time. I'm not annoyed by them yet and think they'd both do well on their own or maybe together.

Black-ish
Just when I was getting used to Traci Ross Ellis…her  hair, her eyes, the hair/eye combo and then there it was, the nail in the coffin for me. She has freaky weird toes too! Did we need to see those ? I love Black-ish and I'm still watching mainly because I'm obsessed with Lionel Richie Jr, but those toes just made me insane. Even Diane noticed her Mom's feet and called her out on them. Not sure why it was all about lower extremities this week, but there were feet and cool sneakers. I need to check the shows and find out where I can buy a Anthony Anderson's red kicks.

Empire
The animal print continues throughout the Empire. Now that I'm attuned to it, I always have my radar up. Anika drugged Courtney Love right before she was supposed to perform at the big investor showcase. Okay they could manage but then, Lucious lost his ability to speak right when he needed it most. He chose Cookie to speak for him instead of Andre or Anika. Of course Cookie did a great job. Anika didn't seem to mind as much as I thought she would, but she's a business woman and wants the deal to close, big time. Right after the showcase, she left for Chicago and Lucious had to tell his family about the ALS. Of course everyone was upset. Hakeem and Jamal held it together but Andre lost it and ended up rocking with his clothes on in the shower. Cookie's world was turned upside down and she and Lucious end up in bed together. Of course Anika came home early and witnessed them in action. She didn't bust in, or scream or anything, she just stood there. Credits roll.

Nashville
Yeah Rayna James! She finally took down Jeff and took him down big time. Now he has no job, no power and no hold over Teddy. Guess who does though, Rayna. She was so pissed at Teddy for signing Maddie to Edgehill and sleeping with a prostitue that she's now going for full custody. Rayna rocks. Teddy's a tool. Scarlett was running around buying all sorts of ingredients to help Deacon but he was in Deacon Downer mode. Sitting on the couch feeling sorry for himself, checking WebMD and avoiding Maddie. Finally it was back to guitar lessons and fighting to stay alive. Scarlett and Deacon's doctor haven't had their Maddie's a match lightbulb  moment yet. Hoping that happens soon, I need Rayna and Deacon to be together already. Avery was back in the studio to make Sadie's album but just when he was finally ready to record, Sadie had a meltdown. Avery to the rescue, he got her ex on tape breaking the restraining order and that was that. Gunnar and Luke wrote a song about Rayna, tried to have a guys night with Will but it didn't go that well. Will thought Luke was on to him but he just thinks he's "sensitive" what does that mean? OMG Will's secret is one I DO want everyone to know about already (unlike Suits.) Juliette still didn't go in to labor. She's hysterical pregnant. She should just always be pregnant. It's hilarious.

Scandal
3 things we learned about Olivia Pope this week:
1) She speaks Farsi
2) Her hair can look great even after 2 pillowcase coverings
3) She's great with a gun

Cyrus kicked ass this week. Maybe it's the good hair, maybe he just couldn't take it anymore. His inner monologue and his ability to do what Fitz couldn't finally kicked into gear and he and the CIA planned to kill Olivia Pope for the sake of the United States of America. Mellie and Elizabeth needed VP Andy out of the picture big time and knew just who to go to…Huck. He doesn't kill anymore since Jake told him to lock the bad guy in so he just gave him something to make him an eternal vegetable. I liked it. In the end, it wasn't Fitz, or Cyrus who saved the day, it was the Gladiators, it was Abby who called one of the original Gladiators, Steven (remember him? Desmond from Lost?) Steven saved Olivia and sent her home in a helicopter. Now she's gotta get a new couch, a new security system and get back to gladiating. She's furious with Fitz for going to war and not killing her, for not being the best Prez ever, but he lovvvvvvvves her and that just isn't the guys she loves. Now it's time to get back to work and get this show back on track.

2 1/2 Men Series Finale
Congrat's Chuck Lorre…perfectly written, seriously clever, hilariously funny, surprisingly satisfying and one of the best series finales I've ever seen. I never really watched 2 1/2 Men religiously when Charlie Sheen was on and I never really watched it at all when Ashton Kutcher joined the cast but I felt it was my duty to watch the final episode and I'm SO glad I did. Chuck poked fun at himself, the premise of the entire show, the fans and the haters. He broke the 4th wall a bunch of times, said goodbye to a bunch of women and got Arnold Schwarzenegger, John Stamos and Christian Slater to show up. No Charlie, but we didn't think they'd really make up after all that, did we?  Congrats on 12 years.
