THE SHOWS

Scandal
Pretty powerful episode and not the greatest case for Olivia's first gig after being held hostage by crazy mercenaries. How'd the cops know she was back on the job? How'd they get her number? She's obviously got some serious PTSD going on. I wasn't sure which way the story would go. Police were innocent, police were guilty. Courtney B. Vance lives, Courtney B. Vance dies. Crowds riot, Crowds don't. David Rosen rocked, didn't he? Joshua Malina's so underrated. He really needs to be recognized a bit. I'm recognizing him. WWTM thinks he rules! I was a bit obsessed with the boy just laying on the ground for so long. Was it just one night? Hard to figure out the timeline. The sticky window was on overtime duty and of course it was our beloved Gladiators who figured out that the cops planted the gun. The Gladiators are good, aren't they? What was up with Jake's royal blue cell phone case? Cyrus had a good hair day even though he was blowing a gasket about the VP candidate. I can't decide how I'm feeling about Fitz these days. I'm happy he stuck up for Mellie but is anyone going to have enough time to listen to every word the new VP candidate has to say? She talks...A LOT! Did she pass on the offer? I'm not even sure where we netted out with her.

-I guess once Jon Stewart announced his plans, everyone else at The Daily Show started thinking about their next moves, too. Now Samantha Bee is jumping ship and heading to TBS to host her own satirical current events show. TBS was already in the Bee camp as they are the home of a scripted show that Sam and her husband, Jason Jones are producing. Jason had already announced his departure earlier this year. Who's left guys?

Friday's Trivia Question: Who was the host of The Daily Show BEFORE Jon Stewart?
