The Vampire Diaries

I'm really curious about Caroline's pre-dreads. How does one get their hair like that? I think I've mentioned that I can't stand everyone without their humanity. The only good thing that came out of it is that Stefan and Caroline finally hooked up. It was sort of hot, but does it count? I don't think it does. Damon and Elena hooked up too which was nice to see, because their hook up did count. Damon, Elena, Bonnie and Kai all went back to 1903 to get Damon's Mommy who I'm pretty sure is the same chick from White Collar. They brought her back but left Kai with her zombie buds. I'm fine with that, I hate Kai and hope the zombies make him insane. Bonnie brought Damon the vampire cure but now he's got a decision to make. Roll credits.  

Scandal

I totally forgot that this was the Lena Dunham episode. I'll admit that she did a good job, but it says something to me that the show with the best stylists in Hollywood couldn't help Lena at all. 2 wigs, a few outfits and all I saw was Hannah. Lena played a female Christian Gray type who played 50 shades games with Washington's elite including Leo and David Rosen. Doesn't Leo look SO much like Dan Ackroyd? It's just crazy. Abby needed Liv to get rid of the book or she, Leo and David would have to resign and Cyrus wanted the book for future blackmailings. The sticky window got busy when the Gladiators started reading. Everything was going well, Olivia handled Sue and the entire situation but when Huck and Quinn went to Lena's place and the Sit and Spin guy from chapter 11 was about to slit her throat, Huck took over and did the guy a solid. I'm happy the Gladiators were back to gladiating but Olivia's really in need of a therapist, big time. Right now she's going with hot stranger with crazy abs therapy, but she really needs some true time on the couch for some PTSD treatment. The only people spending time on the couch these days are Jake and Fitz who seem to be back on the path to BFF'edom. 

THE OTHER STUFF

Realllllly slow news day today. All I got is that Hulu won the Empire streaming rights prize of the day. So for anyone who'd going to need to catch up and binge this sucker, Hulu's the place.
