THE SHOWS
Lip Sync Battle
Malin Ackerman vs. Stephen Merchant. Quick, right off the top of your head, no Googling, name anything either of them have starred in. Not so easy, right? Of course we know Stephen from his award winning lip sync performance on Jimmy Fallon that started this whole thing off, but I'd say that Malin and Stephen are "B" list. Jimmy better start making some calls to get those "A" listers for next season. He also better talk to the director about the crazy camera angles and the microphone in front of the lips. Will someone please listen to me? Nobody listens to me at home when I ask them to write down when we're out of dog food or to bring paper towels upstairs, maybe someone will listen to me about this. Lip Sync Battle could be SO much better if you'd just listen to me.
1) Lose Chrissy. If you think guys need a scantily clad hot super model in order to pay attention and keep the clicker silent, get a hotter girl, but personally, I don't think you need anyone other than LL. LL's cool enough for both sexes.
2) Show more of the behind the scenes stuff,
3) Add footage of bloopers or rehearsal
4) no microphones or lip blockers
5) 2 scores…one for lip sync and one for overall performance.
6) Hire a new director
7) Keep the cameras closer.

Scandal
Excellent episode. So back on track. I know all the Team Fitzers weren't happy to see Jake alive, but I enjoy Jake and was glad to see him on the mend. He seemed to heal pretty quickly, must be that shirt off healing method I read about. I wonder what the neighbors think is going on in the apartment across the hall from Olivia. So many people coming and going. Who's paying the bills on that place? Did Olivia buy it? She should, seems like she needs extra space for hostage taking and knee drilling. The Gladiators were doing some great gladiating. I wouldn't think it would be so easy for Abby to just leave The White House for a few hours to go gladiate, but I have to keep reminding myself this is TV, this is Scandal, the home of the sticky window. Funny to see Travis from Cougar Town in uniform and in a drama. I didn't see him as B613 material. Where does Rowan find these people? Is there a training center somewhere? Does HE have a boss? In the mean time, our favorite VP hired Olivia to do her thing and help a woman who was raped in the military. No brainer for Liv and the gang, that's Scooby Doo simple and wrapped it up before the credits. Cyrus's hair continues to improve and amaze and we finally found out what Foxtail is. It's not a what…it's a who and it's…MELLIE!
THE OTHER STUFF
-With the upfront festivities about to begin next week, the cancellation/renewal news pouring in.
ABC cancelled Forever, Cristela, Resurrection & The Taste the did renew Shark Tank, Beyond the Tank, The Bachelor, America's Funniest Home Videos, Dancing with the Stars, The Goldbergs, Modern Family, The Middle, Secrets & Lies, American Crime, Castle, Greys Anatomy , Nashville, Scandal, Agent Carter, Fresh off the Boat, Marvels Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D & Black-ish, Galavant and Once Upon a Time Great news for Goldbergs fans!!! I'm also pretty stoked about Nashville and Galavant.
BBC America renewed Orphan Black. I don't think this is the best idea even though I love the show. They should wrap the story up and someone needs to get Tatiana Maslany under contract for her next project asap!
CW officially cancelled Hart of Dixie (duh)and The Messengers.
-I did some investigative Goldbergs research yesterday and found out that in the real Goldberg family, Erica was Eric. Yep. Bev has 3 sons and no daughters. I also found out that the real Murray Goldberg stayed friends with Bill but the real Murray died in 2008. Thought you Goldbergers would want to know. RIP Murray Goldberg.
Friday's Trivia Question: I had a super hard one for today but after yesterday, maybe I should go back to easy. Or maybe…two Mom trivia questions:

Even though they are B list and I had to google what exactly Malin was in...I did think they were the best so far. The most entertaining at least and really had fun with it.
