Below Deck Reunion Part 2
Okay so…I learned a lot during part 2 of the Below Deck reunion. The biggest news: Captain Lee's first name isn't Lee. Lee is his last name! Captain Lee's first name is…wait for it…wait for it…HAROLD! Did anyone out there know that one? We also learned that Chef Leon's galley was gross, that Kate and Ben are kidding themselves and really want each other bad, that Rocky is STILL clueless, that this is Eddie's last year as a yachty and that there's going to be a Below Deck spin off! Below Deck: Mediterranean. (no start date yet) What I was confused about, big time, was whether Eddie and Rocky hooked up AFTER the show ended or not. Eddie denied it big time and Andy never really got to the bottom of it. What was up with him? That's totally NOT the way Andy rolls! Grinder
Last nights episode of The Grinder was the best one yet. I loved the old show-within-a- show, now we have the spin-off of the show-within-the-show, The Grinder: New Orleans. Timothy Olyphant plays Mitch's brother, Rake Grinder in that one. I never thought that Timothy and Rob looked alike, but they really could pass for brothers. Of course, you know I'm partial to Dean's REAL brother, Stu who once again steals the show within-the-show and…the real show. Ya gotta admit, it's a pretty impressive feat to steal any show from Rob Lowe, but Fred's the MAN! George Costanza, I mean Jason Alexander, was back as Cliff Beemus, the creator of The Grinder. After a lot of back and forth between the fake show and the real show, Dean finally decided, with the help of his REAL TV brother, to let Beemus kill off his character meaning the end of Mitch Grinder for good and the start of Dean's next chapter. If that was too confusing for you to follow just go to the FOX Watch App and watch the episode, trust me, it's a great 22 minutes. Fun Fact: Max Winkler, Henry's son directed the episode. Name Henry's iconic character for some bonus points.
Real Housewives of Beverly Hills
Yeahhhh my favorite bunch of "housewives" is back! Lisa, Ken & Jiggy were back and Lisa of all people was asked to throw out the first pitch at a Dodger game. If that happened to me, you know who would coach me? My 14 year old son, but if you are Lisa Vanderpump guess who shows up at Villa Rosa? AJ Ellis the Dodgers catcher. The Dodgers not only let Jiggy in the stadium, they let the dog on the field too! Of course his paws never touched the ground but still bizarro! Kyle was busy trying on $75,000 sunglasses, planning her Summer vacation to Italy with the Vanderpumps and crying about her sister, Kim, being arrested and thrown in rehab. Right before the show started, I read that Yolanda and David Foster were divorcing. Yolanda's been suffering for 3 years with neurological Lyme's Disease and David's been MIA during a lot of her treatments. (Personally, I think David Foster's a d**sh) Cody Simpson's Mom's around though. Gigi, Yo's daughter had been dating Cody. They broke up but the Mom's are still buds. Awwww. Elaine and her family were mourning the loss of Tom Bradford from Eight is Enough, aka, her father-in-law, so she couldn't go to Lisa Rinna's birthday dinner or grill a piece of chicken, but she could go to work and do some re-decorating. Priorities people, PRIORITIES. Lisa Rinna's daughter works at a deli, she's the only kid in Hollywood working for a living and handling luncheon meat.
Chrisley Knows Best
There is NO way I can believe that The Chrisley's would EVER compete against their friends in a bunch of BBQ games like sack races, egg races and obstacle courses if they didn't have a TV show in need of storylines. The Chrisley's don't like to sweat…EVER and they obviously weren't very good at any of the events at all. Anyone who drinks a Coke for breakfast isn't going to be able to beat the Rawlins in their own backyard at their own games. I really need to delete this one. I know I do, but Todd Chrisley's like a magnet. I'm forced to watch him. He just pulls me in every time. I'm SUCH A LOSER!
Donny
Pretty sure the bracelet count held steady at a solid 6 this week. I found out via a reader and then on Watch What Happens Live that the insane townhouse Donny lives in on the show is Donny's REAL home! I can't even imagine living in a place like that. Andy Cohen guessed that the value was $35MM but Donny lead us all to believe it was probably closer to $50MM. This week, Donny accidentally came out of the closet on his fake talk show, even though he's not gay. So what did he do to rectify the problem, he had to "COME IN" and announce he's straight. Of course leave it to an ad man to recycle Jerry Seinfeld's "Not that there's anything wrong with it" pro gay slogan into a more modern, simpler "gay yay" slogan. I like it, but you really need to raise your fist while saying it in order for it to be as compelling as Jerry's line.
THE OTHER STUFF
-I'm a huge fan of the show Quantico on ABC, but I usually watch it on Monday nights instead of Sunday and it seems I'm not alone. Apparently, Quantico is this seasons top delayed-viewing growth show across all 4 of the big broadcast nets. The November 15th episode increased 138% in one week-delayed viewing which was a record for this season so far.

-Speaking of Jerry Seinfeld, huge announcement yesterday. Jerry Seinfeld, like his Long Island buddy, Billy Joel, will take up a six month residency at New York City's Beacon Theatre. Right now it's one show a month for 6 months, but I'm betting shows get added just like they did for Billy. The first show is January 7th. Not a bad gig at all really. 1 day a month, an hour or two, oh and…Jerry lives within walking distance of the Beacon, so the commute's not bad either.
