Is Axe supposed to be the Jack Bauer of Wall Street? In addition to being a brilliant beloved billionaire boss, husband and father, he apparently also has amazing superpowers where he can remember everyone's location at a "friends" pool in order to figure out who was filming him beat the piss out of the idiot that drove his kids home drunk from the carnival. Not only was he able to figure that out, but his people found the girl, paid her off, got the footage and got Axe off the hook and sitting pretty in 30 minutes. Look, I chose to keep my Billions Season Pass and I'm enjoying the show, but there's something missing for me and I'm not sure what it is exactly. Chuck and Brian are still after Axe. Chuck's obsessed actually. Hiding in closets and spying like a freak. What are they going to do, get everyone at Axe Capital to turn on Axe? Pretty sure Axe will figure out a way out of every move that comes his way. Just like Jack Bauer. I enjoyed Axe's wife trying to toughen up her boys after they b*tched about the cheese omelet their personal chef cooked for them. She had them clamming with their bare feet in icy water and then sent them to the woods to learn how to rough it. They didn't rough it for long though, Axe's son called him and had him come get them in the middle of the night. They hit the diner for milkshakes. So much for roughing it. Axe is the man...so what's missing? I mean I'm even sort of over Wendy & Chuck's S&M thing at this point. Love Paul Giamatti, don't get me wrong, but I don't really need to see him in his underwear and handcuffs every week. 

The Good Wife
Talk about going out on a high note, Sunday's episode of The Good Wife was hilarious, amazing and super juicy all at the same time. WOW! Congrats to the writers on some great work. The entire first scene with Alicia & Jason eating chips, showering, eating ice cream, watching lions in the wild and doing all the things you'd think they'd be doing in-between was just incredible. The fact that it was all ruined by Alicia's Mom (aka Rizzo from Grease,) her bro Owen, Eli, Mike Tassione, his dog Tom, and the messenger who supoened her was perfect, and had me hysterical. Loving Mike Tassione and Tom. Nice to see Mr. Shu from Glee in the courtroom even though he's the enemy. Was hoping he'd find a good gig. Eli Gold locked in the bathroom, standing on a garbage can and listening to the Grand Jury, another awesome scene. All I have to say is that if Alicia turns on Cary, I'm not going to be happy. I've loved Cary Agos since he was Logan Huntzberger on what show? Man my Sunday's are getting annihilated. First Downton and Girls and now The Good Wife. At least I still have Billions and Madam Secretary. 

THE OTHER STUFF

-Freeform renewed Young & Hungry for a 4th Season yesterday.
