THE SHOWS
NashvilleDEACONNNNNNNN NOOOOO!!! I knew it, I just knew that when Maddie and Cash and their d*ck lawyer went to "Plan B" and put Deacon on the stand it was going to end bad. When you add it all up, Deacon's violence resume is pretty impressive…in a bad way. A way that won't get you full custody of your kid. At first I thought that Deacon would turn to the bottle, spiral out of control, and lose Rayna AGAIN. Well, he didn't turn to the bottle but when he called Frank out on everything, it did get pretty violent. Buh Bye Maddie. Rayna was shattered. Something's going to happen to Maddie, she'll see Cash for who she really is, need help and it will be Deacon who saves the day and brings his baby back. Scarlett and Gunnar were on again and now…off again. Good news, Will's song was on the radio. Bad News, he's going to need those royalty checks to pay for a new paint job to get the gay eptithets off his car. Juliette got nominated for an Oscar but couldn't enjoy it at all when she heard Layla in Avery's bedroom. Still no word if the show's officially coming back or not. Upfronts in 2 weeks maybe we'll find out then.
Scandal
Mazel Tov to David and Susan…psych! NOT! You know you would have loved a juicy DC Jewish wedding where the drama wouldn't be Uncle Saul's shiksa plus one! Command would have used having all of Washington's elite in one place for some big career ending announcement or maybe to just blow the place up and start Washington from the ground up on his terms. Command and Jake are out of their minds. I'm not sure who's more evil, Ramsey Bolton or Rowan Pope but I'd like to see them duke it out. Abby and Olivia joined forces and got Susan and Hollis out of the race. Edison TRIED getting out but Rowan and Jake basically said RUN or DIE! Finale next week, looks decent. Pretty sure Fitz is going to find out about Olivia's abortion OY VEY! That would have been great news to reveal at David & Susan's wedding had they had one, that is.
Lip Sync Battle
If you've watched um all…and I have, there is literally no evidence whatsoever that Chrissy Teigen was ever pregnant with baby Luna. NONE! This week Chris Paul vs. Snoop Dogg. Chris performed Snoop's "Gin & Juice" and one of my personal faves, New Edition's "Candy Girl." Snoop performed Bob Marley's "Could You Be Loved" and then killed with Journey's "Don't Stop Believing" complete with Steve Perry wig. Check it out: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tX0m7EAgz6A
THE OTHER STUFF
-FREE??? YES!!! FREE!!! Right now, on iTunes, the CW is giving us all a truly FREE gift. The entire first season of Crazy Ex-Girlfriend. All 18 episodes all freeeee. I actually think I might take them up on it. I have no idea why I stopped watching this one. I remember liking the first 2 and then for some reason I just never went back. Free might just be the right incentive.
-More good news, this time for Netflix fans. Netflix is launched a Data Saver feature. This way you can maximize or minimize your experience to save on data overages. You'll need to update your Netflix app. Here's how to do it: Go to "App Settings" and then go to "Cellular Usage Data." You'll be able to select the usage setting that suits your mobile data plan including an unlimited option. BINGE ON BABY!!!
-As you know, I'm currently re-watching and obsessed with The West Wing. Apparently, James Corden is a fan as well which makes me love him even more than I already do. On Wednesday night, in addition to Car Karaoke with Gwen Stefani, he had Allison Janney and Bradley Whitford on his show and they paid tribute to The West Wing with this awesome Walk & Talk spoof. I'll say it again…if you've never seen The West Wing…PLEASE watch it. If you are already a huge fan, watch this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tX0m7EAgz6A
-Last night on Corden, he helped out Sharon Stone big time. Apparently, Sharon's having trouble finding a date to take her to see Captain America Civil Wars. If you're interested, check this out: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Eb1xuDxykLI
-Right now while you're on the bus or train or drinking your first cup of coffee, the powers that be over at FOX are deciding if they should cancel or renew The Grinder. Rob Lowe's actually nervous waiting for the answer and is pushing hard for another season. I'm here to help Rob! I really think a 2nd season is necessary. The show is really good. Yes, there were a few episodes there that worried me, but they got back on track and the show's really fun and clever and Fred Savage is a rock star. FOX needs to promote the heck out of it, re-run it over the Summer AND maybe take a page from the CW handbook and offer it up to all of us for FREEEEEE. If Rob Lowe reads this and retweets it or likes it or emails me, or comes to my house for Oreos and Sushi, I will devote a section of WWTM every single day to The Grinder all Summer long!!! I PROMISE!
-To honor the Mom's out there, Jimmy Kimmel had his staff read some of their REAL Mom's texts. They're hilarious! Check um out:
