Real Housewives of NJ
When we last left our motley NJ crew, they were having a couple of cocktails at the Moxie/Posche 2 party.  Of course it can't just be a couple of cocktails and zero drama on a Real Housewives of NJ finale.  Drama's part of the package and drama's what we got.   The Gorga's and the Laurita's confronted Penny, Penny's big, scary, husband John, and of course the most made up, hideous, disgusting, leader of the pack...Kim D. They all just deferred to Teresa who admitted to NOTHING at that point.  Everyone was screaming and yelling and the cameramen were even running for cover. I'm sure they didn't want to call Bravo headquarters to report equipment damage. Surprisingly, Joe Giudice stayed FAR away from the fisticuffs, but with all the charges against him, he probably didn't want anymore legal trouble. Loved it when Teresa threatened to pull the Milania haircare products from the Moxie shelves. Yeah that'll show them Teresa! So will all of those "Textez" that they supposedly have from you.  "Textez" did Teresa go to school at all? The Gorga's left the party in their Bentley, the Giudice's and the Wakile's all left in their Mercedes in disgust. After  the party, Caroline took a tour of her own home and starting getting weepy at how blessed she is that her family's not as insane as The Gorga's or the Giudice's. She's giving up on the Hoboken apartment and staying put in the big house so that if Lauren EVER marries Vito, she can come down the stairs in her wedding dress. The Laurita's both gave Teresa some good advice...tell your bro the truth and take some responsibility for her part of the drama. SHOCKINGLY after a GIANT BUN ALERT, Teresa SORT of came clean that MAYBE she'd done some things she's not proud of.  She came clean at Albie and Chris's flavor tasting. The tasting didn't go well flavor wise, but Teresa and her bro finally hugged out. To end the season, all the families went alllll the way to the Jersey Shore, to Teresa and Joe's gutted shore house, for a chilly BBQ where we learned that Milania knows what a muffin top is, Kathy's building her dream home, the Manzo's and Ashlee, moved back home, and the Gorga's sold their mansion for 3.8MM. Guess that's where they got the money for that Bentley.  Good season...can't wait for the reunion next week.

Breaking Bad
OMG, I so don't know how to handle this at all. I don't want to give anything away to anyone who hasn't watched Breaking Bad at all or to anyone who hasn't watched the finale yet. It just wouldn't be fair to you guys if I even spoiled one second of any episode, let alone the finale. BUT...I need to vomit out my feelings on the show soooo bad, so PLEASE SKIP THIS...it's a MASSIVE SPOILER ALERT.

For all of you that did watch finale, would you agree with me that it was EXACTLY what we needed. A complete wrap of, complete closure, answers across the board really.  Walt figured out how to make sure that Skyler, Finn and his sister would get the money he worked so hard for.  He threatened Gretchen and Elliot with the help of Badger, Skinny Pete and a couple of laser pointers. Did I forget that Gretchen was Susan on Friends? I think I did. Next on Walt's errand list, hook up with Todd and Lydia at their fave spot.  He must have visited the diner and the table prior to Lydia's arrival to get the ricin into the Stevia cause I didn't see anything weird when he was at the table. Did you? Walt proposed a meeting with Jack to discuss a new form of Meth without Meth. Before the big meeting in the desert, he finally admitted to Skyler that he did it all for himself.  He liked it, he was good at it and it all made him finally feel alive. Classic scene. He said goodbye to Holly who was sleeping in her crib watched Flynn come home from school. Then it was back to the desert to build some cool contraption. Walt hit Jack's place big time. First issue was to get Jessie's out of his prison cell.  The looks between the two of them were intense.  Walt got his hands on the Volvo car keys which he rigged to trigger his cool firing mechanism. Walt saved Jessie, killed Jack, before he revealed where all the money was, and let Jessie brutally kill Todd with his chains.  Jessie got himself free and was about to kill Walt, but saw that he was already dying so he left him there to die.  For a second I thought he was going to run Walt over with the car, but he didn't.  Walt went down to the lab...his happy place.  The cops show up just as Walt leaves us all.  Great tune to send us all out...Badfinger's "Baby Blue". Brilliant episode. Satisfying closure for us all. No loose ends. Perfect from beginning to end, from the first episode of the first season to the last episode of the last season.  Thanks Vince! A ride we will all never forget!

Homeland
Pretty good season premiere of Homeland last night even though it was Brody-less.  No Brody, but then again, we aren't supposed to know where he is right? Saul can't find HIM but he was able to find and kill 6 key terrorists with Wizard of Oz code names around the world at the EXACT same time 2 months after the attack on Langley that ended last season. Pretty impressive for Saul.  Carrie's back to being an emotional wreck.  A bit of a slow boil last night for her.  At the first part of her hearing they surprised her with Brody's confidential immunity deal document and then at the second part of her hearing they accused her of lying about where she was during the bombing and if all that wasn't enough, her relationship with Brody was splashed on the front page of the paper. She's off her meds again, which is the Carrie we love the most right? Big maps, lots of string, and photos are back on the wall, she's drinking, picking up strangers who like it on the stairs (only on TV do people do it on the stairs...I mean really...again, that's another blog, but I just had to comment) and making scenes at Capitol Grille.  Dana's out of the psych ward, but her facial expressions haven't changed at all, she's into texting topless selfies to her new psychmate BF, Leo, which you know will get her into trouble in some way down the road.  Of course there's an internal leak on Saul's team...there's always someone on the inside, remember 24? Great premiere, next week I won't be so drained when I watch it.

NEWS & INFORMATION

-Unforgettable, which I actually did forget about, has been renewed by CBS for next Summer for all of you fans who remember to watch it each week.

-Because I consumed all things Breaking Bad over the weekend to reconcile the end of the show, this was one I thought you'd enjoy.  Nothing  https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=cqvFDdzsjEc#t=64

-I hope Lauren Zalaznick's departure from NBCU is really a good thing for her.  I attribute the Bravo we all know and love to her (and Andy Cohen).  She pretty much built it from the ground up and announced last week that after 12 years, she's splitting.  Senior leadership changed her role right after the Comcast takeover, so no idea what's really going on with her, but I personally would like to thank her. Bravo is one of my favorite places to go for a fun break from my reality to theirs and she's one of the main reasons why. So, I hope her next chapter is as good as her last!  Good Luck Lauren!

-With so much TV to watch, I wasn't on Netflix over the weekend, but supposedly now they are streaming in Super HD, anything Super is supposed to be better right?  Look, I'm all for better, but instead of going to Super HD, could they just add ALL the titles they have in their arsenal to the streaming side of things. This is why I complained the last time.  There just isn't as much to stream on Netflix as you'd think. Sure it's great for binge viewing and stuff, but I have a list of movies I'm dying to see that are STILL not available to stream on Netflix. C'mon guys...you're getting more money from all of us, now give us the content too!

Monday's Trivia Question: I know not EVERYONE was watching Breaking Bad last night, but I just had to do a trivia question from the finale...What cassette tape did Walt find in the glove compartment of the Volvo?

I watched everything out of order last night because the Giant game pushed everything on CBS back, so at 8pm I watched Real Housewives of NJ, then Breaking Bad and then I went to watch Big Brother. I don't really know how to handle Breaking Bad with you guys at this point because I know a ton of people are binge viewing and catching up and some people haven't watched last nights episode yet and I really don't want to be the person that spoils this show as a whole for anyone. I don't even want to risk using a "Spoiler Alert" for anyone. I'm making an executive decision to wait until after the series finale to discuss the show. What I will say about last nights episode was that it was SO intense and SO amazing and SO riveting that I honestly felt like I needed a Xanax to chill out when it ended. I just have no idea how this story is going to end. There hasn't been a bad episode, a jump the shark moment or anything. The show is as perfect as it could possibly be and I'm really hoping that the finale is everything we want it to be.  I don't need another Lost or another Sopranos to ruin things.

That being said, it was great to have a mindless, fun episode of Big Brother to watch after Breaking Bad except that 90% of Big Brother was clips and recaps from this season. THAT SUCKED! What a kill buzz! The last moments of the show,  the 3 part HOH competition started, but that's where I was last night. All dressed up and nowhere to go.

So the only thing left to discuss is Real Housewives of NJ, because I didn't get to the  Season finale of Newsroom yet.  Football is really messing Sunday nights up!
Real Housewives of NJ
How funny was it when Teresa had to interpret "blood is thicker than water" for her Mom for all of us?  First she was interpreting and then she was speech writing for Jaqueline? Now that IS the definition of irony right? A woman that can barely master the English language is interpreting it and writing it?

What was it about Chris Laurita that made him look so different last night. Haircut? Weightloss? Botox? I couldn't put my finger on it.

The entire Kathy Walkile storyline last night was embarrassing. Her cannoli kit seems ridiculous to me for some reason.  She seems sad and desperate. I mean she's doing her Mom's hair and schlepping easels and posters herself into the city.  I just felt bad for her. I felt bad for Candace, the woman, she's working with now who was waiting and seemed to be thinking  "how did I get myself into this mess?" I haven't been to Dylan's Candy Bar in a long time. Do they now carry pastries? The editors were trying to make it look like nobody was showing up for Kathy, but other than Caroline, they all were there for her.  So what was the big deal? That was definitely a case of trying to make drama where there wasn't any.

It was nice to see The Gorga's and the Giudice's out with Teresa and Joe's Mom, but now with Penny telling Melissa and Joe that it WAS Teresa who was behind the rumors and comments and stuff, I'm betting there's more drama on the horizon.

I loved Johnny Wright the music producer/manager guy telling Melissa straight up how the music business works. He was another one who seemed annoyed and perhaps regretted getting involved with these two nut jobs.  Not sure where she can really go with her career...have you heard her song anywhere on the radio? I haven't. Looks like she'd rather drive carpool than make music.

Classic moment of the episode was when Joe Giudice was talking to Rosie about having a surrogate and wasn't sure if he had eggs or not. Could he really be THAT stupid?  REALLY???  Poignant moment of the episode was of course Jaqueline's speech about Nick and Autism at the BLK Knock Out Autism fundraiser.  One note to Richie Wakilie...PLEASE STOP CHEWING GUM on TV. It's disgusting and grossing me out.  Thanks.

NEWS & INFORMATION

- Some great NFL Football Social Info for all of you guys:

  • Last weeks Sunday Night Football (on Thursday) game ruled social chatter across all platforms.
  • Ravens/Broncos owned 54% of all Twitter conversations on 9/5
  • There were 1.3 million tweets sent around Kickoff with the next closest TV event generating only 166,000 tweets
  • Sunday Night's game was also #1 on Twitter beating all other NFL games that day with 1.7 million tweets up 1 million tweets vs. last year
  • NBC Sports Fantasy Sports site, Rotoworld delivered its best week ever from 9/1-9/7 with 2.2 million uniques.
  • The week of 8/25-8/31 was Rotoworld's best week ever in visits with 4.4 million
  • ProFootballTalk also experienced its best week ever from 8/25-8/31 with 8.2 million visits.
- The legal battle is still ongoing, but so far the results of FilmOn X's fight could threaten the expansion of Aereo, it's competitor in over-the-air broadcast television on the Internet. A ruling last week rejected FilmOn X's motion to stay a preliminary injunction or to limit the injunction to the D.C. area, the D.C. judge referred to Aereo as a "similar service that also appears to infringe... copyrights." So this could spell trouble for both services.  More to come I'm sure.

-Got a bunch of dough and not sure what to do with it? How about buying a music network? MSG's putting Fuse up for sale.  The network is in 70 million households, but has never really broken through. You'd think that of the 3 music networks Fuse would do well, since they don't have a promise in their name and yet they do actually show music videos on their network, they'd win. MTV and VH1 still dominate in the category even though the latter of the two rarely play a music video throughout their program lineups.  Odd right?

Monday's Trivia Question: 30 years ago in 1983 this show won the Primetime Emmy for Best Comedy.  It was on Thursday nights at 9:30 on NBC.  Name the show.

Big Brother
With football running late, I DVR'ed Big Brother and watched late. I was really feeling the tightening of Pilates by then and needed some sleep, so my bullets are short and sweet.  Here's what I got:
  • Spencer won HOH and with that he got to distribute 3 "gifts" to those that lost the competition
  • The Gift of Friendship was given to McCrae and GinaMarie who had to be tied together for 24 hours. Spencer figured it was best to keep a close eye on McCrae so he had GM do his dirty work.  Funny thing was, GM was only really upset that McCrae was actually not very clean, so she was doing 2 different types of dirty work. McCrae didn't complain much at all about being shackled to GM but after Amanda, anyone's a piece of cake.
  • The Gift of Wealth was given to Andy. He got to smash different piggy banks to win 5 grand, but he only ended up with $94.83
  • The Gift of Health was given to Judd and his Grizzly Bear T-shirt. This one was awesome.  Whenever Judd heard the sound (and voice) of the drill Sergeant, he had to stop and do whatever he was told which included, push ups, jumping jacks etc. It was great, it happened in the diary room, in the middle of the night and during the nomination ceremony. Hilarious, especially the insults that went with the exercise.
  • Andy's diary room commentary gets more annoying by the day.  I can't wait for the end just so I don't have to hear him in the diary room.
  • Spencer nominated McCrae and GM...I'm fine with that. I would have put 2 Exterminators up and backdoored McCrae but whatever.
Breaking Bad
Uh Oh, problem with the meth...it's not blue! That'll cause all sorts of trouble overseas and Lydia was freaking out about it.  Todd seemed relatively confident that he could fix the problem, but he'd need Mr. White to tutor him a bit. Walter called Todd and just as I suspected, asked Todd's uncle to take Jesse out. So they did some bartering...some tutoring for some killing.  The rest of the episode was so intense, wasn't it? I don't really want to give anything away, but O...M...G... the rest of the episode took place in the desert and just when we thought the JIG WAS UP and we knew where things were going...BOOM. That's all I'm going to say. WOW! Only 3 episodes left and I still have NO idea at all what's going to happen.

Real Housewives of NJ
If I didn't love Joe Gorga before, I sure do now, the guy irons!  Not many guys that do that these days. Can't believe I'm typing this, but poooor Melissa Gorga. If I woke up on my birthday and the first two things I saw were my husbands b@lls and my sister-in-law, who I can't stands face, I'd crawl back into bed and wait until next years birthday. That's how Melissa's birthday morning started out and the first gift she got from Teresa was panties with peace signs on them. What sister-in-law would give that kind of gift? The guys hung out at the pool and pissed off all of the other Miraval guests by being loud and rude...you know... themselves.  While the guys were pissing off everyone at the pool, the girls took a "zen-ist" tennis class.  Joe Gorga toasted Joe Giudice and it was nice to see. Then the gang had to do one of those trust me/trust you things up on a high wire. Of course Teresa and her bro did it and were fine but then it was time for Melissa and Teresa to do it and of course they had trouble leaning on each other.  Caroline couldn't take everything being so good and had to push for everyone to start fighting again which of course they did.  This bunch doesn't need any excuses to fight with each other. Thanks Caroline.  She makes me nuts these days.

The White Queen
Is anyone out there watching this one?  I sure hope so, because, now, I do need someone to start explaining things.  I had hopes that the series would stay simple, but after this weeks episode I'm totally baffled. Not sure at all who's King, who's Queen and whose heir is next in line. Without the Internet, I don't even understand how all of the players involved knew who was supposed to be what. Back then without phones,  everyone relied on notes or word of mouth for accurate news of what was happening outside castle walls. Queen Elizabeth heard from her sons that her husband was missing and she is no longer Queen and within seconds she was on the run and in fear of her and her families life.  All that AND she was in labor.  Not sure how I felt with the directors choice of camera angle during the birth of the prince.  The Queen delivered standing up and the camera between the legs shot wasn't really necessary buddy.

NEWS & INFORMATION

-Sons of Anarchy fans...tomorrow is the night. Jax and Clay and all the guys of SAMCRO will be back in our lives. FX is launching Anarchy Afterword, a live web post show to talk about all things SOA.  Not sure we've ever discussed my love of this show. I discovered it last December when I went to Las Vegas for my friends wedding.  I watched all 5 seasons of it over Xmas break, so this is the first season I'm actually watching it live and I'm out of my mind excited.  For all of you 50 Shades fans who have no idea who Charlie Hunnam is, now's the time to get on the bandwagon, but I recommend starting at the beginning. This show's awesome.

-Project Runway All Stars returns on 10/24 with a new judge, new mentors and some new/old faces. Sort of surprising that Alyssa Milano will be hosting the third season. Marie Claire's fashion editor Zanna Roberts Rassi will be a new mentor but Isaac Mizrahi and Georgina Chapman will be back as judges.  Some of  the guest judges will be: Abigail Breslin, Gabourey Sidibe, Kristin Chenoweth, Elisabeth Moss and Michael Urie. Anyone still watch this one?

-The season premieres of Always Sunny in Philadelphia and The League at their new home, FXX, delivered 757,000 and 786,000 viewers which was up 8%  vs. last years premieres on FX.  Now I know what the extra X is for! Xtra viewers.  I'm betting FOX hopes so.

-Two big announcements over the weekend. 1) The 2020 Olympics will officially be held in Tokyo and 2) Bruno Mars will be this years Super Bowl Half Time performer. I saw Bruno on tour this past Summer and he was awesome.  Guessing Jay Z and Justin passed? I thought for sure since the game was here in NJ a local celeb would be playing, but Bruno's from Hawaii. Not sure how he'll do in Rutherford in February, but he rocked Newark in July a few months ago.

-I'm really looking forward to all of your comments and feedback on a lot of the new shows this season. I'm not sure how I feel about the new Michael J. Fox show on NBC. I really need to see a few more episodes before I make an official Season Pass ruling. I'm happy that Marie from Breaking Bad has a job and I was even happier to see that Candice Bergen and Charles Grodin were cast as Mike's parents, but the pilot made me nervous. Lets see what you think.

-I've made some big TV recommendations over the past 18 months and I hope I've steered you right more times than not. Orphan Black is another one of those shows you need to watch and now is THE perfect time. BBC is rerunning the first season on Saturday nights at 10pm. TiVO it and catch up...you have plenty of time. The new season doesn't even start until April 2014. I can't tell you ANYTHING about it because once you know the twist it ruins things...just watch it. Money back guarantee, I swear.

Monday's Trivia Question: Name any of the 3 songs that played in last nights Breaking Bad.

Have an A1 Day!

WWTM is heading out on vacation from 8/17-9/3!  Still want a fix? Check the Facebook Page or Twitter during the break...ya never know when I'll feel the urge!  There will not be any e-mail blasts until Tuesday 9/3. Don't worry we still have this week!

The answer to Friday's Trivia Question: There were actually 2 winners of So You Think You Can Dance in 2012. I don't watch this one so I admit I had to look it up myself.  Eliana Girard and Chehon Wespi were the 2 winners last season.

FIRST FIVES: Michael O'Dea, Jim Carter, Andrea Walters, Monica Caraffa & Caryn Vitolo
Honorable Mention: Dani Jackel

The theme was Reality Show Winners of 2012.

Big Brother Bullets

  • Funny, Aaryn couldn't believe what GM said about Candice's Mom not wanting her, but had no clue that all the racist remarks that came out of her own mouth were probably just as hurtful.
  • BB showed us all how Judd got backdoored...Helen! Of course! And who wins big time from that move? Aaryn.  If Aaryn wins this thing I will lose my mind.
  • Judd's pleading for his life was brutal for me to watch I can only imagine how tough it was on everyone in the house. Now I know why there was so much crying after he left.
  • Helen's first pep talk of the show was truly unbelievable. She made Aaryn think that what SHE did by getting rid of Judd will help her win the game, when it was really Helen pulling all the strings.
  • Who thinks of these competitions? Roll a ball down a giant banana into a cup?
  • McCrae beating Amanda was a smart move even though Amanda had a nervous breakdown over it.
  • Helen's second pep talk, this time to Amanda, showed us all how Helen speaks to her children didn't it? OMG, Helen's not even a target yet?
  • Andy finally gets an HOH! Did we miss his "Who Wants To See My HOH Room?" moment?
  • Loved the clip of everyone saying that they are glad Andy won because they are BFF's with him. Hilarious.
  • Everyone loves Andy so much that they volunteered to be a Have Not this week.
  • Andy took the easy way out though. Didn't listen to Helen (who was 100% right ) about putting Amanda and McCrae up.  Bad move Andy. You just made yourself another target for Helen.
  • I guess Helen's puppet master skill were lost on Andy.  Could have also jus lost him the game.

Breaking Bad
How GOOD was it to see Walter White back on your TV last night? I don't even know what to say.  I didn't see the cancer coming back at all as an option but damn that was a great curve ball to throw our way.  Bring us all back to the beginning.  Hank was just out of his mind now that he knows about Walt, but how insane was that scene in the garage between the two of them? Pretty intense? The car wash scene at the beginning...also brilliant. I loved how it started off light and sort of funny with Walt analyzing the air fresheners but then it turned quickly when Lydia showed up begging Walt to come back to the business, but then Skylar kicked her butt outta there. Have an A1 day Lydia! Jessie's out of his mind, racked with guilt and throwing drug money out his car window onto the doorsteps of strangers. Isn't this all so bittersweet. One of the best dramas ever and while we don't want it all to end, we can't wait to see how it ends? 7 episodes left, I can't wait and I will be devastated when it's over.

The White Queen
Starz really wants a slice of the the "must see" ultra competitive, programming pie.  They've had some respectable entries, but they seem to always fall just a bit short. That's sort of how I feel about The White Queen. Think of this one as Game of Thrones ULTRA light. Every one's gorgeous, there's a war (The War of the Roses) but not much battle or blood so far.  There's sex and nudity, but extremely tame compared to GOT.  There's some magic, but the kind you sort of understand.  I liked The White Queen...it wasn't confusing at all. My brain didn't have to do any overtime.   Two families vying for power, The Lancasters (Not the Lannisters) and the Yorks. Pretty simple, so it's easy to keep track of. Based on the first episode, I know who the enemies are and who they aren't.  Of course there are beautiful costumes and great hairstyles that include some crazy braids, and even a Princess Leia Cinnamon bun, for Lady Rivers. The best of the "do's" though, was the evil Dutchess Cecily's enormous buttlike headpiece.  Sure it's a BIT ridiculous that King Edward fell in love with commoner, Elizabeth Gray and secretly married her all before the first commercial break, but for a Saturday Night if you're not going out to a yummy dinner or checking out a movie...you really could get into The White Queen, I did. It's definitely NOT Sunday worthy, but Saturday...it's perfect!

Clear History
Did you guys happen to watch Clear History on HBO Saturday night? I'm not sure what I was expecting, but I basically got Curb Your Enthusiasm, sort of. Larry David played a guy named Nathan Flomm who looked like Dumbledore from the Harry Potter movies.  Long crazy gray hair, no glasses and a long crazy gray beard.  Nathan made the hugest mistake of his life by quitting his job as the head of marketing for a small electric car company run by Jon Hamm (who you know I hate).  The reason he quit...he hated the name Hamm gave the car..."The Howard", after his son. Of course in true Larry David fashion,  when he quit, he lost his 10% share in the company which of course ended up being worth billions of dollars. The world found out what an idiot Nathan Flomm was, SO, he moved to Martha's Vineyard, cut his hair, shaved his beard, got some new glasses and started a new life with a new name, Rollie.  Of course he was still the same guy even though he looked totally different. In true Larry David fashion, Jon Hamm and his wife Kate Hudson, move to the island and more Larry David lunacy ensues.  Of course the movie had a great cast. In addition to Hamm and Hudson were: JB Smoove, Bill Hader, a nearly unrecognizable Michael Keaton, Eva Mendes, and more, but I guess I was hoping for something other than Larry being Larry.  I didn't love this one and I'm upset that I didn't.  I wanted to. What did you think?

NEWS & INFORMATION

-I honestly don't care at all about Jay Leno's final Tonight Show episode on 2/6/14. Of course I do care when my FBFF, Jimmy Fallon takes over for him and moves to 11:35pm each night which is much better for me personally to keep up with my pal 2 B. Anyone know that date yet?

-Homeland Season 3 premiere's on September 29th, but you HAVE to watch the trailer. Holy crap it looks SO juicy. The trailer alone stressed me out just like the show does every week. So many questions are raised too. Wait til you see it. Check it out:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iXOUIsu-E0Q

- There really hasn't been much of an impact on CBS's ratings during the first week of the Time Warner Cable blackout.  Compared to the 7 day period the week prior to the blackout, CBS was flat against A1849, and compared to the same week last Summer, CBS is actually up 33% against A1849. The ratings are telling the whole story though. My friends lives have been impacted, but as we discovered last week when I learned how to use Facetime, where there's a will, there's a way and people will find a way to watch what they want to watch. Unauthorized downloads of Under the Dome rose 34%.  While overall the networks ratings weren't hurt, Under the Dome was down 7% last week.  Let's see what happens when football season starts. I'll be shocked if this isn't all solved before the first regular season kickoff.

-If the Time Warner/CBS battle wasn't enough, now there's also danger of a Dish/Disney/ABC/ESPN battle.  This one expires on September 30th and seems to be getting ugly already.  Uh Oh.

-For all of you Breaking Bad fans who happen to also be Mythbusters fans, you may want to check in with Adam and Jamie.  The guys are dedicating tonight's entire episode to one of the best dramas of all time.  The gang tests out scenes from the show to see just how much damage Walter White's favorite chemical , Mercury Fulminate, can do.  Based on the clip I watched...a LOT! http://www.thewrap.com/tv/column-post/breaking-bad-mythbusters-crossover-reaches-explosive-conclusion-video-109811

-I gave the producers a great title idea for the 2nd Sharknado movie, Sharknado 2: Taking a Bite Out of the Big Apple, but they are going with Sharknado: The Second One instead. Hate it.

Monday's Trivia Question: I just started watching Dexter, only 2 episodes so far, but I'm in. I have 8 seasons ahead of me which could take some time, but...Michael C. Hall who plays Dexter starred in another awesome show. Name the show and his character's name.  You need BOTH for the credit. This is the last week of August Trivia, so get those answers in!
