-Apparently there was another ending, well sort of, for FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS where
Coach Taylor makes a speech and it is played over the montage at the end, but
producers decided not to include it.  For all of you FNL fans, here is the link to the
speech (and the article)...brings tears to my eyes even listening to it this way.

-It's always hilarious when Alec Baldwin hosts SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE and we all know
that he has hosted the show a record breaking number of times (it was one of my trivia
questions a while back), well, heeeessss back. Alec will be the host for the season
opener on 9/24 with Radiohead performing.  Is it too early for some Pete Shwetty?
Hope not...everyone loves Pete Shwetty's Balls!

-I know there are a ton of BREAKING BAD fans out there in WWTM land...you will
hopefully be happy that it has been renewed for what will be its final season. This is
one of those shows I have to catch on Netflix.  Once I finish ARRESTED
DEVELOPMENT, I might start watching this one.  I have a few on my list...I sense
readers poll to decide.

-On Friday night, I was actually home and since I was all caught up on my viewing for
the week, I checked out some Friday night TV.  FRIENDS WITH BENEFITS...horrible,
unwatchable, I only lasted about 10 minutes.  KARAOKE BATTLE USA...omg...what a
train wreck...I don't remember who the other judges were, but Carnie Wilson is all you
need to know about...she is horrible but yet, you can't stop watching her.  Her facial
expressions are over animated, actually she seems over animated altogether, and not to
be mean or anything, but didn't she have gastric bypass surgery and lose like 100 lbs?
Well, most of it is back I think.  I hadn't seen her in a while...I don't know what to say
really...the show is horrible, but it is worth just checking out an episode to see what I
am talking about.  OK, next was WHISKER WARS, which is a reality show about the
United States Beard Growing champions...did you even know this existed?  I am not a
huge fan of facial hair in general, so I didn't last long with this one either, again...check
it out just to see the oddness of it all and then you decide if it gets the Season Pass
award or not. It didn't for me.  Then finally...HAVEN on Syfy with my fake husband
Jason Priestly and a very interesting Twitter storyline and if all of that wasn't cool
enough...a love scene with Jason where he takes his shirt off...nice way to end a Friday
night for me. With all the unwatchable shows on Friday nights, I will never understand
how FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS did so poorly...one of the biggest mysteries really.

-With the horrible rainy weather yesterday, I decided to go check out the movie version
of one of the best books I have ever read, THE HELP.  Usually the movie is never as
good as the book, but I have to say, that the movie is actually just as good as the
book, much more emotional to see it all on the big screen.  Oscar winning
performances by everyone in the cast, but if Viola Davis doesn't win an Oscar for her
performance of Abilene, something is wrong in the world.  Would love to hear your
feedback if any of you guys saw it.

-Last night, I got all messed when the golf tournament on CBS ended late and instead
of BIG BROTHER airing at 8 it aired at 9 and I fell asleep.  I know that Danielle won
head of household, which I was not happy with, but I don't know who she put up for
nominations.  Of course I could go check online, but I am going to try to stay in a
media blackout and watch it all tonight.  Also need to watch CURB & ENTOURAGE
tonight too...so media blackout for those also!

-I would like to publish the results of my first WWTM Readers Poll tomorrow, so if you
haven't responded...please let me know if you own a Tablet of any kind and if so which
kind you do own.

-Monday's Trivia Question: Viola Davis starred in this weekend's box office surprise hit,
THE HELP, but she is also known for playing Donna Emmett on what NBC crime drama?
(I have to admit, that I looked this one up, as I don't watch the show and never have)
