WATCHING WAY TOO MUCH 8/19/11

-The answer to Thursday's Trivia Question: The album that Michael Jackson had 5 #1

the Mirror, Dirty Diana, I Just Can't Stop Loving You and The Way You Make Me Feel
FIRST FIVES: Bratt Blattman, Brendan Hoey, K-Yun Steele, Kyong Coleman & Shari
Dabby

-With the MTV VIDEO MUSIC AWARDS a week and 2 days away, the secret on who is
opening is out...Lady Gaga will open the show next Sunday 8/28.  The egg thing has
been done already...wonder what outfit or form of transportation she will "shock" us all
with next week. How about just jeans and a t-shirt and drive up on a bicycle...that
would be shocking.

-Bravo has decided to delay the premiere of REAL HOUSEWIVES OF BEVERLY HILLS by
at least a week, but no official premiere date has been released yet.  I think delaying it
is the respectful thing to do, but for selfish reasons, I hope they don't delay it too long.
REAL HOUSEWIVES OF NEW JERSEY is almost over, there would be this empty void we
would all feel without some group of spoiled, whiny housewives, probably a similar
feeling to what Theresa feels on a regular basis.

-For all of you BIG BROTHER fans, we can all breathe easy now that SPOILER ALERT
Brendon is out of the house for good and the first member of the jury.  This time
instead of shiny, whiny, Rachel crying and sulking she has vowed to avenge his ousting
and win it all for the both of them.  Last night's Head of Household competition was
one of those that was still going on as the credit's rolled, you know the kind that builds
suspense to keep viewers coming back for more.  I couldn't take not knowing, I admit
it, so I followed the competition online and I do know who won the HOH competition.
(sorry Ker) This was against my viewership rules, but I just couldn't take not knowing.
So I won't spoil it for you, but I will say that I am very happy with who won.

- There really wasn't much on last night.  After BIG BROTHER I watched the Yankee
game (they won!) No drama there at all really just happy that CC did well.

-I always feel the need to report on all things FACEBOOK, since I am a huge fan. I love
this idea and shockingly enough I have never seen THE BIG LEBOWSKI, so I just might
tune in to this:  Universal Pictures will screen "The Big Lebowski" on Facebook via its
"Social Theater" app. Fans will be able to rent the movie for 30 Facebook Credits ($3)
for 48 hours. While watching, viewers will be able to comment and "like" their favorite
quotes and scenes. Renters will also receive a $1 discount off the rental for up to 5 of
five Facebook friends through the social network's "Buy with Friends" platform. The
program coincides with the release of the movie on Blu-Ray and will be only made
available to users over 17 years of age, as the film is rated R.  Not sure of the date for
this viewing party, but as soon as I have more info I will share.

-Josh Groban has been cast as Andy's brother on THE OFFICE.  I am betting there will
be some sort of singing storyline, you can't have Josh Groban without some sort of
singing in the story, and Andy sings already sometimes on the show.  While this all
could actually be funny, it also could be boring and exactly what we would all expect
you would do with Josh Groban.  Didn't I say I was giving THE OFFICE up?  I can't
remember.  I'm sure I will check it out when the new season premieres, maybe it has
jumped the shark?  I am not sure really.

-I am obviously not a Kardashian viewer, but if you are then I bet you are ultra excited
for the big wedding tomorrow.  I do love a good wedding, I may have to DVR it just
because I am sure it will be quite the spectacle.  The question is, how long will this
marriage last?  I am betting less than a year, although Khloe and Lamar are still
together and so are Kris and Bruce, so maybe Kim and Kris (convenient that his name
starts with a K too!) can beat the odds. Mazel Tov Kris and Kim!

-I am on vacation for the next 2 weeks, not sure if I will be writing or not.  I don't
know how I could stay silent that long...sounds impossible.  So, I guess, check your
smartphones and emails in the mornings as you normally do and don't do anything
drastic if there isn't a witty WWTM to read that day.  It will be the big question of the
day...will she or won't she???? Write that is...

-WWTM  Weekend Movie Rental suggestion: 21 starring Jim Sturgess and Kevin Spacey.
True story about a bunch of MIT kids that beat Vegas for a ton of dough.  I rented
LIMITLESS, but obviously have never seen it, so will let you guys know if it is rentable
or not after I see it.

-Friday's Trivia Question: Spike TV signed Dave Navarro to host its new tattooing
competition program INKMASTER.  While Dave is famous for being a part of the band
Janes Addiction, he did host another TV show...name the show.  This is a tough one
people
