-The answer to Wednesday's Trivia Question: Martin Sheen played AJ, the Vice President in AN AMERICAN PRESIDENT…OR SO WE THOUGHT!
-First Fives: Tara Dowling, Andrew Werts, Larry Goldberg, James Gabriele & Jason Wagenheim …BUT WE WERE ALL WRONG!!!
Look, when I am wrong, I am the first person to admit it…ask my husband… SHOCKING TWIST--Thanks to good friend, loyal reader and AMERICAN PRESIDENT superfan, Artie Altman, I have been alerted that while we all thought Martin Sheen was the Vice President, especially since there isn't another person in the movie that plays a VP, Martin Sheen was the Chief of Staff...so not only am I wrong, but all of you first fivers were wrong too! Are you all as SHOCKED as I was????

-Gotta talk about BIG BROTHER first and foremost this morning. Can Danielle be a more fierce competitor? Between winning the HOH competitions and the great way she manipulated the Veto competition, you have to admit she is a great player of the game. The faces on Brenchal after losing out on playing for the Veto altogether were classic. The game played out perfectly as far as I am concerned. But let’s talk about this “Humilitard” shall we? If I was going to create a super deluxe item of dress that would be called the humilitard, I would have made it much more humiliating than what the BB producers came up with. Or maybe it’s just that no matter what you would put on Jordan she would have the ability to wear it well…she is just so incredibly cute, which balances out her extreme lack of intelligence. I know I sound like a broken record, but there isn’t a better guilty pleasure than BIG BROTHER in the Summertime!
-In between BIG BROTHER and the season finale of what I deem a Summer sleeper, ROCCO’S DINNER PARTY, was the Yankee game that ended in a heart breaking, nail biting loss…poor Jorge Posada, not a great way to end your 40th birthday game…striking out with winning runners on base down by one run, no birthday cake for you Jorge. ROCCO’S DINNER PARTY was awesome last night. The guest of honor was none other than Liza Minnelli who for some reason was spending her 65th birthday taste testing for this show, but looked to me like she had a great time. Again, hope Andy Cohen is reading this and renews this one for another season, with all of the current problems he is having deciding what to do about REAL HOUSEWIVES OF BEVERLY HILLS, this could be one of his easier decisions of the day…more episodes please Andy!
-So many stories about the death of Russell Armstrong from RHOBH. His family is supposedly going to sue Bravo. Come on, really???? Nobody forced him to participate and if his wife did, well that is between them. Totally not Bravo’s fault the guy apparently had some issues.
-Again, I try to share when I love something or think I will…the new BOOKLAMP website. BOOKLAMP is to reading what PANDORA is to music. (sounds like an S.A.T. prep question) Booklamp is a new book recommendation engine that scans text of books, categorizes them, and then recommends them for you. I know I am always asking friends or even strangers for book recommendations, so this could be a great new tool to help with that process. Oh, and if you have a favorite book, I am leaving for vacation soon…please share!
-I am an ABC news viewer, I watch WABC in the AM (when I am home to watch it that is) and in the PM (when I am awake to watch it), but over the years I did watch the WHERE IN THE WORLD IS MATT LAUER sweeps stunts on NBC’s TODAY SHOW. This feature has been on hiatus since 2008, but apparently they are bringing it back this November! I’ll probably DVR it, I enjoyed finding out where in the world Matt Lauer was during these stunts…nothing really witty to add here…next…
-Thursday’s Trivia Question: Not a TV one, but still I was surprise to read that Katy Perry has just tied one of Michael Jackson’s records. Katy now has 5 number one singles from her current CD “Teenage Dream” (I have had California Gurls as my ringtone for over a year BTW). Michael Jackson also had 5 number one singles from one album…name the album.
