-Hope you guys watched the X FACTOR last night. It was really pretty good again! Having the live audience is a great addition to the format, especially when the judges are on the fence and need some help.  I don’t watch IDOL so not sure if it is as emotional as X FACTOR but I get very taken in by some of these contestants and I love when the judges and all of us are surprised by someone’s performance which they definitely were when this guy Josh came out and blew the roof off the place.  After tonight, they move on to the boot camp segment which will weed out all the yes’s and get us to the teams.

-SURVIVOR last night was pretty good, a nice new really cool challenge that I hadn’t seen before was added to the mix.  Russell Hantz’s nephew came clean to everyone and admitted who he was, this kid is definitely not his uncle, he is truly an odd guy.  Very into god, and trying so hard to not be his uncle.  The thing is, while Russell was considered a villain to everyone, he was a GREAT player, an interesting player and a player America loved to hate, so there would be nothing wrong with trying to be like him at all and then trying to improve on it.  I like Ozzy, but he is kind of boring me, the team needs to get it together and blindside him to get him and the idol out of the game.

-MODERN FAMILY was really funny last night.  For anyone that watched, that first segment with the snoring is MY LIFE!  I was cracking up…then the juice cleanse was hilarious, especially because all of the women in my row have been talking about doing a cleanse for the past few weeks…but considering how much we all love our food, I don’t know if we can do it…I could possibly rip a cabinet door off its hinges if I couldn’t eat too!

-I checked out all of the entertainment shows last night (in between my Rosh Hashanah celebration-Happy New Year to you guys btw) and there is still not an official confirmation that Ashton and Dema are done.  I will need one or both of them to put something out on Face book or Twitter in order to believe it.  I did see that Ashton is getting in trouble for the “free advertising” he apparently stole during this week’s 2 ½ MEN with the stickers of a lot of the internet companies he is part owner of on his laptop.  I really thought that was intentional and perhaps even in his contract.  I actually noticed one called Chegg during the show and looked it up…it is a text book rental/purchase online service btw.  Bad boy Ashton…we pay good money for those placements!

-ALL MY CHILDREN is out and THE CHEW is in…first day did better than AMC which is what they had hoped…obviously too soon to really tell, but that was the plan all along.  THE CHEW is cheaper to produce so it would already be considered a win. On Monday they had 2.5 million total viewers which did better than All My Children's (the show it replaced) 2010-2011 season averages with total viewers (2.5 million vs. 2.4 million) and among W18-49 (590,000 vs. 568,000).

-This Sunday night will be Andy Rooney’s, last 60 MINUTES segment.  Andy is 92 years old and will be delivering his 1,097th segment.  He has been with CBS for 62 years! That is insane!

-Mobile video usage continues to surge across all age groups with younger consumers leading the charge in online video streaming and mobile video viewing. While Generation Y is showing an aptitude for these alternate distribution channels, they are being embraced across the board…check out usage increases year over year with ages 13-34 below.

- Internet ad revenue is was up 23.2%, to a record $14.9 billion, from January to June 2011, according to data from the Interactive Advertising Bureau and PricewaterhouseCoopers. This doubles the rate of growth year-over-year from last year, which saw an 11.3% over 2009. Display advertising took the bulk of the dollars with a total of $5.5 billion in revenue, an increase of 27.1%.

-Andre Leon Talley is leaving AMERICA’S NEXT TOP MODEL after this season.  Kelly Cutrone will be taking his place. Any of you guys ANTM fans? Not me, but I remember that it was a pretty big deal when Tyra got Andre to join the show, so I am guessing it is a pretty big deal that he is leaving the show too.

-NEW GIRL on FOX is the highest rated new show (and one of the highest rated shows overall) so far this season so it makes perfect sense that FOX has already given it a full season order.  Have you guys seen the cotton commercial with Zooey singing in the background?  I like that cotton song now…can I order it on Itunes?

-Yesterday I got my 151st registered WWTM subscriber…my goal is to get 200 by the end of the year but I need your help, so…contest time!  Whoever refers the most new subscribers by the end of the year will win a prize.  Again…it isn’t a trip to Hawaii or a new car, but it will be decent…I promise.

-Thursday’s Trivia Question: What was Demi Moore’s characters name in St. Elmo’s Fire?
