-I was out last night…Girls Night Out…which was a lot of fun, but didn’t leave much time for a full night of TV…I did manage to watch all of X Factor which was good, I am happy that auditions are over and we move on to boot camp next week.  Hoping that Simon, Paula, LA and Nicole had a good time in NJ and glad to see that MY state didn’t let them down.

-While the shirtless count of VAMPIRE DIARIES last night was a big fat zero, the show was SOOOO good.  Pretty sure that Elena now believes Stefan is over her, which would be good for all of us that want her to waste no time and hook up with Damon.  We met a few new cool characters last night, Gloria another witch and Rebecca, Klaus’s sister who is freaking out that her necklace is gone…yes…that’s right, the same necklace that Elena is wearing.  You know what this means…sooner or later there will be a fight of epic proportions to get the necklace, but for now…we wait.

-After reading through the chart below, I tried to figure out how many hours of video I watch on TV and online.  I came up with about 30-35 hours a week counting sports which would put me at 140 hours a month…that is about right actually.

-What surprises me about the chart below is that 31% of mobile video viewers are over the age of 35…do you agree with that?  I find that hard to believe, but ComScore is pretty reputable and WWTM doesn’t have research capabilities at all…so we will just go with it.

Thursday morning on Twitter, Ashton Kutscher was apparently listening to the song “Don’t Believe the Hype” on Spotify  and followed up with the tweet: "When you ASSUME to know that which you know nothing of you make an ASS out of U and ME".  I am still in major denial and going with the idea that Ashton is a good guy and he and Demi are doing just as great as Will and Jada…now where are my rose colored glasses?

-Of course the last week it aired, ALL MY CHILDREN’s ratings were up.  An additional 750,000 viewers tuned in to see the pseudo ending of their precious soap.  People…if all of you had just kept watching and not come back just for the end, you would still have AMC on the air.  Now you have THE CHEW or THE CHAT or whatever that new show is called.  Well, there is the internet…

-Next week, if you are a TODAY SHOW viewer, you may want to stay home from work every day…what a great idea…each day next week a different Kardashian will be hosting…seriously, I am not joking…they seem pretty qualified to be hosting a morning news program don’t they?  Remind me again…they are famous for what again???

-No confirmation yet, but it looks like Jaqueline Laurita, has quit REAL HOUSEWIVES OF NJ due to some issues she has with Theresa Giudice and her lack of authenticity.  REALLY??? You mean these women are not being honest and truthful?  Cmon say it isn’t so!  Good for you Jaqueline!

-If you haven’t seen the commercial I mentioned yesterday with Zooey Deschanel singing the cotton song …check it out here…thanks to WWTM reader Paul Furia for sending it my way.  http://www.thefabricofourlives.com/music.html
I know I am nuts, but I really like this version of it…

-Big weekend for all of us Yankee fans…fingers crossed that all goes well.  In the spirit of a mostly baseball weekend for our family we are hoping to see the Brad Pitt/Jonah Hill movie MONEYBALL.  I haven’t read the book, but who cares, Brad and baseball together on the big screen, sounds like a thumbs up rating in my book, but I will let you know on Monday.

If you can’t get to the theatre and you are renting…WWTM Weekend Movie Pick: CONVICTION- starring Hilary Swank in a true story about a working single mother of 2 who puts herself through law school to defend her brother who was wrongfully convicted of murder.

Friday’s Trivia Question: On MODERN FAMILY Jay, played by Ed O’Neil is the proud father of Clair and Mitchell…what were the names of his children on his previous series MARRIED WITH CHILDREN?

WWTM-Kristy
