The answer to Tuesday’s Trivia Question
FIRST FIVES: Candace Gorin, Bill McLauglin, Brian Matthews, Tara Dowling, & Heather Doyle
Correction to Monday’s FIRST FIVES: Candace Gorin was 5th NOT Alex Barunas…with my power outage I had some technical difficulties. The reason I feel it is important to call this out is because Candace’s husband, David Gorin was 4th. This was the first time a husband and wife finished made FIRST FIVE. (WWTM Trivia)

-Carruba storm update…with the exception of heat, we are up and running. Hopefully the plumber will come today and get the heat going…it is a little chilly as I type!
-With the WORLD SERIES over, regular programming and scheduling is back…so, GLEE returned last night and I actually have quite a bit to say about it…so in no particular order…what was up with Puck’s Mohican last night? Was it brushed to the side or pasted on off center? We kept checking it out in slo-mo…looked like a piece was missing in the back too…Loved “Last Friday Night” & “Waiting For a Girl Like You” but hated the GLEE PROJECT winner, Damian in the show. I couldn’t understand a word he said and then when they finally let the guy sing they give him “It’s Not Easy Being Green” WTH? That “Candyman” song and whatever the last song was…not good at all. Loved Curt’s dad, Sue, and Santana, all great performances. A bit annoyed that they are going with the student/teacher love thing, but it wasn’t like I didn’t see it coming. All in all, I was happy with the return episode, especially that Quinn has her cute hair back.
-RINGER did not disappoint either…again, another juicy cliffhanger. Since all of my WWTM research tells me that RINGER is a highly DVR’ed program, I don’t want to give anything away, and trust me when I say there is quite a bit I could actually reveal. As much as I am tempted, I just won’t do it to you. This is what I will say, if you think you know who killed Gemma…you don’t. If you think you figured out the Bridget/Malcom relationship…you’re wrong. I really want to discuss with someone who DID watch, so if you did, email me and let me know if you saw both of those twists coming.
-PARENTHOOD was very emotional last night, on so many levels and again, just like with FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS, we truly felt the pain and conflicted feelings all of our favorite characters were dealing with. Whether it was Sarah’s inner turmoil between helping her ex-husband through re-hab or putting all of her efforts into new BF super cutie Jason Ritter…Drew and Ambers’ lack of wanting to get hurt by their Dad again or run into rehab and tell them they support him…Zeke’s inability to shield his daughter from anymore pain…it was really tough on all of them and ME…I was exhausted by the time the show ended, but it was worth every minute.
-SPOILER ALERT: In my 5 minute DANCING WITH THE STARS viewing, I saw my boy, David Arquette was voted out. He was still happy and smiley and felt pretty good. Now that my 3 faves are gone, I no longer need to devote even 5 minutes to viewing…just 1 to see who wins in a couple of weeks. Can’t believe Nancy Grace stayed on longer than David…what a bummer.
-Regis’s last day is next Friday, 11/16, and Gelman is lining up lots of great co-hosts before making some sort of announcement/decision on who his replacement will be. First up in the chair…Jerry Seinfeld who will co-host with Kelly on 11/21. I need to remember to Tivo this one. I am obviously not a regular viewer of REGIS & KELLY (although I probably would be if her super hot husband was the co-host) but I did always Tivo the Halloween episodes…this year though, Regis refused to participate, so Nick Lachey stepped in…to be honest I missed it with all of the power outage issues, but I need to give a shout out to ole Reeege. Good for you for finally putting your foot down and saying NOOOOOOOOOOOOO to the ridiculous costumes they put you in. Apparently Reeege never enjoyed the Halloween show and took the day off.
-Totally not a TV thing but just need to say…16 days til BREAKING DAWN Part 4A of the TWILIGHT series…who’s as excited as I am?
-I have to plug tonight’s X-FACTOR…the mobile and tablet XTRA FACTOR app is ready to go if you haven’t downloaded it already...do it now. For all of you with a tablet, you have to check out the tablet version of the app, it’s really awesome and a great viewing experience…let me know what you think.
-Wednesday’ s Trivia Question-Last night on GLEE, Puck performed the song WAITING FOR A GIRL LIKE YOU…name the band that sang the original version.
WWTM-Kristy
-PS: Someone out there asked me to add a Pamela Deluca to the distro, but I don’t have the correct email address…please send when you have a chance. Thanks
