-My body is all screwed up…fell asleep during the X FACTOR when watching it live at 8pm (11pm my time) but woke up at 3 (6am my time) and just watched the show online.

- Did you all watch?  Before I get to the performances, the most distracting thing of the night…Nicole’s hair.  What was that on her head?  Sorta Flock of Seagulls and a sorta canoli-ish…the crazy part is…even with that wacky hair she is still one of the most beautiful women I have ever seen…Back to the music though…The first part of the show was the duets, which were ok, a bit hard to hear though…I thought that Josh and Alanis Morrisette were pretty good…I didn’t love Chris and Avril Lavigne, Melanie and R Kelly were decent…the highlight was really when they all sang the songs they auditioned with.  Josh’s version of “At Last” was awesome and while I still feel that Melanie is nothing new or different and she sounds exactly like Beyonce, Mariah or Whitney, I still got chills when she sang “Listen”.  Chris Rene’s performance of “Young Homie”…nothing as real as that…I had goosebumps from him as well.  I voted for Josh (quite a few times) but honestly any of them could win tonight and all 3 of them will probably be picked up by someone immediately, so I am not worried about them at all.

-The person we should be worried about though is Steve Jones.  Rumors of him being fired were all over the place yesterday, but today everything I am reading says that no decisions have been made.  In my opinion, he is the weakest part of the show.  Yeah sure he is gorgeous, but he is still very robotic and the pinky ring still bugs me.  Of course all of these things can be fixed…bag the ring and take a Xanax…personally I don’t think that Steve has the hosting “X Factor” but apparently he is a big deal in the U.K. so who knows right?  I wish him luck either way.

-Lots of shows about old stuff these days and all of them do really well ratings wise.  You have PAWN STARS, STORAGE WARS, AMERICAN PICKERS, AMERICAN RESTORATION, HARDCORE PAWN and more…all in top spots on the nights they air.  On Tuesday night, HARDCORE PAWN set a record for Tru TV with its biggest audience ever…2.7 million viewers who apparently like old stuff!  Why do people like shows about old stuff so much?  Even my 10 year old son is in on this phenomenon.  He lives for PAWN STARS and wants to go to the Gold and Silver Pawn Shop in Vegas, wait on line and purchase a World Series ring or a waffle iron from the Pawn Shop…whatever…my kid is nuts

- I will be on the red eye tonight, so it will be nearly impossible for me to send out a WWTM tomorrow morning…but I will send one out at some point tomorrow as it will be the last one until January 2nd…taking some time off from work, so time for a little rest and relaxation, and honestly there isn’t that much TV to watch next week…

-Thursday’s Trivia Question: Tru TV had its largest audience ever on Tuesday night, but Tru TV hasn’t always been called Tru TV…what was this network originally called?
