-Not a big shocker, in fact, I thought the numbers would be even more significant. More people watch primetime TV on Sunday than any other night. During the 13/14 season 125 million people watched TV on Sunday. Monday was the 2nd highest night of viewing with 120 million viewers, and no surprise at all that Friday night is the least viewed night of TV with 107 million viewers. I think the big surprise is that there are STILL 107 million viewers watching TV on Friday nights! Give us something juicy to watch on a Friday guys! There are a lot of us home who'd die for something good!

THE SHOWS
Deadliest Catch
SO much Deadliest Catch drama last night. Captain Elliot  finished a fishing trip only to be greeted by police who served him with papers from his baby mama claiming he owes her 50K.  A major rescue of the Arctic Hunter crew in the icy cold water that resulted in a bit of damage to Elliot's boat. The Captain of the Seabrooke was in so much pain from a herniated disc that he was puking out the window while his crew was fishing for a crab species I had never hear of before…bairdi. My favorite captain, Zig Hansen, turned the boat over to his brother Edgar and grabbed a flight home.  Just another day on the Bering Sea.

Alaskan Bush People
I'd never seen this show before. It follows this family, the Browns, as they try to make it in the Alaskan Bush. No money or anything. 9 of them in crazy, below zero temperatures bartering, building, hunting and trying to stay together and stay alive. Surprisingly, some of them are kinda cute. My husband isn't convinced that they're the real deal. He thinks they're "posers."  Really? Alaskan Bush People Posers? Who would WANT to be an Alaskan Bush Person? Another ridiculously tough life. I mean 9 of them were living in a 60 square foot mud hut. Nuts!

True Tori
It is so stressful watching these guys try to keep their lives together. This was the episode where Tori was rushed to the hospital with abdominal pain and a migraine. She was actually there for 9 days. Gotta say, Dean stepped it up, took care of the kids, took care of Tori and gave Tori a glimmer into the guy she fell in love with. We learned a little bit about Dean and Tori's sex life which, even for me, was T...M...I...So many tears. With all of that going on in their lives, I think they did let the ball drop when it came to Liam's hair.  I feel really bad saying this, but Liam's haircut is awful.  I don't even understand how he could end up with a haircut like that. He's going to watch this show 20 years from now and if finding out about his Dad's issues won't be hard enough on him, seeing himself with the most ridiculous haircut ever will definitely send HIM to Dr. Wexler. Sorry guys, but it's driving me nuts, I had to vent.

Chasing Maria Menounos Season (Series) Finale
Pretty sure that Maria and Keven aren't coming back. Sort of a bummer as I still have a girl crush on Maria and I love Keven. I can't even believe what he's done for her. He puts up with a ridiculous amount of crap, he's had fertility surgery, and now he's converted to Greek Orthodox. I'm guessing that if the show did continue, there'd be a wedding, a baby, or both, but I haven't heard that any of those things are happening at this point.  I enjoyed the conversion party and consider these Menounos matters closed...for now.

THE OTHER STUFF

-Kristen Bell did such a great job hosting last years CMT's that she'll be back again this year to host on 6/4.

-There were quite a few fans of the FOX comedy Enlisted, to bad they didn't have People Meters. There were quite a few people who were bummed when the show got cancelled. Well…for anyone who enjoyed Enlisted, starting June 1st on Sunday's at 7pm the 4 remaining episodes will run over 4 consecutive weeks.

-I had to Google Meryl Davis to remind me that the new Dancing with the Stars champion was the ice dancing chick from the Olympics. Sort of unfair to have the word "dancing" in your job description and be able to compete against all these other "novices" but that rule's always been sort of blurry on this show. Anyway...Congrats to Maks and Meryl for taking home the mirrored ball trophy.

-Josh Kaufman started out on Team Adam and then Usher stole him and today he IS the winner of The Voice, Season 6. Let's see if that actually ends up meaning something. So far there really hasn't been a breakout star from The Voice. This was the first time a stolen contestant  has ever won the competition and it was the first time that someone other than Adam or Blake had a winner. Congrats Usher!
