Rosie and Whoopi better get ready. The gab fest wars are about to get ugly, trust me, you heard it here first. For the first time ever, for the week of 7/13, The Talk beat The View in W18-49 and W25-54. It's gonna get crazy and I might just have to watch. It all depends on who ends up sitting around that table with them. That decides it all.

THE SHOWS
LeAnn & Eddie
LeAnn & Eddie both have really tiny, dimeslotty, looks-like-they-sucked-a-lemon eyes. They addressed their affair, Brandi, and the tabloids as the credits rolled. LeAnn got out of one of the worst record deals ever, got a feather tattoo, and sang the National Anthem at a VERY tiny skydiving fundraiser for veterans and then, she and Eddie jumped out of a plane. Honestly, I know that Brandi, Eddie's ex, is cray cray, but she is 10 times hotter than LeAnn.  Eddie's SO cute, that I will tune in again. The show's only 30 minutes. I DVR'ed it so it was really more like 20 and it flew by. Guilty pleasure type deal, Season Pass.

Satisfaction
I called this one at the NBC Universal "All Together" Upfront back in May. I saw the trailer and just knew I needed to watch. I was right. I usually am, but these days disappointment is the trend. I wasn't disappointed at all. Here's the story. Neil and Grace have been married for 18 years. They have a teenage daughter, a beautiful home, and 2 successful careers  but they're both unhappy. Neil saw his wife having sex with a guy named Simon, who was her paid escort,  (first surprise) and went after him. Long story,  but Neil ended up with Simon's "work" phone and when Mallory, one of Simon's new clients,  called for an "appointment" Neil showed up as Simon and began his new life.  (2nd surprise) Grace and Neil love each other, they want to figure this all out, but they are both leading secret lives.  (They think) This one could be good you guys. It could be REALLY good. Check it out and let me know if you agree. All I know is, I can't stop thinking about it.

Big Brother
  • Hated Julie's red dress, but loved her hair
  • Jeff Schroeder alert!
  • More unnecessary Jacosta tears
  • Okay Caleb, can't you take NO for an answer? I love you but now you're acting like an idiot giving Amber your blankets and stalking her and Cody…move on already
  • The Amber factor is going to get my QT pie evicted. Maybe not this week, but soon.
  • Victoria figured it out…wear sexy clothes get on camera. Interrupting Hayden and Nicole JUST as they're about ready to kiss, get on camera. If you can't be interesting yourself, these are good strategies for getting on camera. Good job.
  • HILARIOUS when Hayden said "no seriously…what's your name" referring to Victoria
  • Pretty sure the word "daughter" was said 8 times
  • Cody's HOT on getting Caleb out of the house. He's right, I know he is but did you see those abs?
  • Zach reminds me of BB 10 winner Dan Gheesling with the screaming in the diary. They even look a little alike. What if he IS Dan's cousin?
  • Frankie's desperately in need of a dye job
  • BB Legend, Jeff Schroeder went to visit Donny's parents who don't even watch the show. Gotta admit, I had a lot of trouble understanding Donny's Dad, and he was speaking English.
  • No comment on Donny's brother or Donny's sisters eyebrows. I could've gone there...but I didn't-give me props
  • Jeff is truly beautiful, even in Donny's clothes, I love that guy
  • No Have Nots this week-yeah
  • Gotta admit, good pre-eviction speech Devin. Still not a fan but I know a good speech when I hear one
  • Ugh that Bow Tie. Jacosta is SO annoying
  • Great eviction choreography again, I have to think Frankie is behind it.
  • Victoria showed up to vote…3rd big screen time moment this episode
  • They had me going, I really thought that Caleb would be blindsided, but it was DEVIN who went bye bye. Yeah…another week of my beautiful Caleb. He really needs to win HOH
  • Loved when Devin found out that Donny was in fact a groundskeeper
  • Hoping the word daughter isn't uttered for the remainder of the season. I'm daughtered out. Thank goodness I only have a son.
  • Victoria also showed up for the HOH competition that makes 4 appearances for her
  • The Deviled Eggs HOH challenge is an oldie. I wouldn't classify it as a goodie though. Now I have no idea who won HOH. I hate the cliffhangers!!!
Kids Choice Sports Awards
So here's the deal. Verizon was a partner for the first ever Kids Choice Sports Awards on Nickelodeon. I probably would have watched anyway because you know…I just love ANY award show. I'm not a huge kid fan and all that screaming makes me a little nuts, but, I love Michael Strahan and I love my job, so I watched the show and guess what. It was cute! It was fun and I'm just hoping I wasn't the only one watching. Here are my bullets:
  • Purple Smoke, Michael Strahan, lots of screaming kids in silly hats and lots of Slimeeeeeeee
  • 4 minutes in and Michael Strahan's covered in green goo
  • Megan Fox and Russell Westbrook (in a much cooler outfit than he wore Wednesday night at the ESPY's)
  • Best Female Athlete: Gabby Douglas in the most hideous dress ever
  • Tennis player Sloan Stevens gave away Tony Hawk's skateboard before they presented. Tony looked really old. He's 46. I guess I thought he was much younger. Okay…then he looked about right.
  • Party Like A Sports Star Award was presented to the athlete with the best victory dance, Victor Cruz.  Of course it was Victor Cruz. Victor carried his adorable little daughter up to the podium in the cutest little cheerleader outfit ever. Note to Victor, take the lollipop out of the kids mouth when walking on a slippery stage. Could have been a disaster, but that's the Mom in me talking
  • Kobe Bryant demonstrated some mad skills in a clip package
  • KCSA Trivia Question: Which city has won the most sports championships? LA, Chicago or NY?
  • Did you ever hear of Dude Perfect? Me either
  • Dez Bryant was stuck in traffic and couldn't get to the arena on time to accept his award. Really? I bet he's never late for kickoff!!!
  • Verizon Power Dunk time.  That's me!!!  Thanks Michael Strahan!!! Hope everyone voted! I chose more slime. What'd you choose?
  • Strahan's a good rapper, who knew?
  • Marshawn Lynch ran a play right into a big slime pit
  • I didn't know who Breanna Yde was, but I have a 12 year old son who only watches SportCenter, Sports and Spongebob, so how could I?  Anyway, Breanna hung out with the LA Dodgers before letting us know who the winners of the Swag Awards were
  • King and Queen of Swag: Dwayne Wade and Gabby Douglas. Dwayne brought his little boys up with him. They were all decked in style.
  • Marshawn Lynch looked miserable covered in slime
  • Nick Cannon and Stephen Curry came out with T-Shirt cannons which caused the kids  to going insane. I think they screamed louder for T-shirts than for any celebrity.
  • Nick Cannon had a ridiculous hat on. Only he could make it work
  • Don Mattingly slimed Breanna, gotta admit, I liked it, she bugged me.
  • Favorite Comeback: Bethany Hamilton, the on armed Surfer, almost lost her balance on the slippery slime. Why don't they clean it up? Bethany beat Peyton Manning? Had to keep in mind that little kids are the voters.
  • Biggest Cannon Award: Serena Williams. Not sure what that award even means.
  • Michael Strahan's twins were tooooo cute. He sent them to go get David Beckham's autograph
  • Will Arnett came out in a hockey uniform and Henrik Lundquist came out in jeans. Damn Lundquist is hot. Lundquist shot hockey pucks into Will Arnet's goal. There was some bleeping going on. Great Will, curse around millions of kids.
  • Clutch Player of the Year: Carmelo Anthony who brought his son with him. What an ensemble. Headphones, bling, blazer, mega watch and crazy kicks for Mini Melo who had to be 7 years old, maybe 8?  Loved the call out to NYC!
  • Floyd "Money" Mayweather had a giant smile and Carlos Penavega had his arm and forehead autographed by Floyd. Pretty sure he used a  Sharpie which means he's walking around right now with an autographed forehead and probably will be for a week.
  • Danica Patrick still bugs me
  • Favorite Newcomer: Russell Wilson.
  • I love the light up sweatbands the kids in the crowd were wearing. Gotta get me a pair!
  • I bet Russell Wilson is going to put that orange Nick blimp with the green mohawk right next to his Superbowl ring.
  • Half Time Show (it was really the 3/4's Show) Some crazy pogo sticking, cheer leading, and Florida Georgia Line.
  • Slime was of COURSE the winner of the Verizon Power Dunk vote! Earl Thomas got on one dunk tank and Larry Fitzgerald on the other.  They each had to get the other into the tank. In went Earl Thomas covered head to toe in slime! Congrats to Larry Fitzgerald our Inaugural Verizon Power Dunk winner who ALSO ended up covered head to toe in slime
  • 50,000 bucks to a kid attempting a 1/2 court shot. 5 shots, 60 seconds and…OMG! HE MADE THE SHOT That's crazzzzzy!!!!
  • And the Nickelodeon Legend Award went to: David Beckham.  Kids were wearing creepy Beckham masks. David, his kids, Romeo, and Cruz all got covered in gold slime, they didn't look too happy, there was a LOT of it.
  • Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson came out to present the final award of the night
  • Best Male Athlete: Kevin Durant who even one day later had some issues maneuvering those giant legs up to the podium
  • Final performance…Pharrell with…"Happy"  and then the show ends the way it began with Michael Strahan covered in slime
Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee
This week, Jerry's passenger was Jon Stewart. I've stalked Jon Stewart at the Emmy's and I see him almost every morning coming out of my favorite breakfast place on Long Beach Island when I'm there at the end of the Summer. I've never said a word to him. Mainly because I'm intimidated by his intelligence. Finally, I have something to say to him. "I loved you on CiCGC." This is a good one guys. I loved that they're in NJ, that Jon's never lived in LA, that he has a 3 legged dog, the product placement, and that they ate at the Tick-Tock Diner in Clifton. I'll let the Mets hat go. Enjoy!

THE OTHER STUFF

-Rob Marciano from Entertainment Tonight is leaving his co-hosting job to take the Weekend GMA Chief Meteorologist job. This was Ginger Zee's gig until she took Sam Champion's spot when he split for the Weather Channel. I didn't know Rob was a weather guy before ET.  I bet the celebs would have enjoyed the ET Weather segment during awards season right?

-I don't want to wish my Summer away by any means, but I really can't wait for the final season of Sons of Anarchy. FX announced that the premiere will be on September 9th and will be an an hour and 45 minutes long with a live after show called Anarchy Afterward.   If you have never watched Sons, and you're all caught up with everything else on the Binge List, use your Summer vacations to catch up and get started now. You'll be all ready for September.

-MTV VMA Nominations were announced yesterday. Happy to report that I know who most of the nominees are. I always worry about that, I figure I'll know THE moment I'm not cool anymore when I know none of the nominees. Then, it's time to pack it in.
