HOOOOLLLY SH*TTTTT. Was that the craziest episode of Scandal ever? Not at all what I was expecting! Olivia's been kidnapped and we all thought she was taken to Somalia or Pakistan or something right? She's in a cell with some guy named Ian McKellan (no relation…I don't think?) and she's peeing and pooping more in this episode than she has in all 3 Seasons combined. She's doing her Olivia Pope thing, trying to figure her captors out. She's using the underwire in her bra to escape (unsuccessfully) and she even killed a couple of guys. (I think). Her hair's unkempt, she's dirty and smelly. At one point…she woke up in Vermont taking a shower with Fitz and making Boysenberry jam and I thought OMG, the kidnapping was a dream but the second I saw Tom, I knew Vermont was the dream. Tom's in jail.  Back to the cell and then the next shocker of the episode, Ian McKellan is in on the entire thing but the question is…who the F is he working for? WHO? Thank goodness we got a few minutes of Jake running around in his boxer/briefs because the rest of the episode was off the hook insane.

Of course I cried. That was a given going in. I thought I'd be so inconsolable but Jason Katims not only tied everything up perfectly, he gave all of us Friday Night Lights people an amazing bonus. Let's break down the teary moments shall we? First time I welled up was when Hank went to Zeke for his blessing and Zeke told him to take care of his daughter. Second time was when Crosby told Amber (who looked REALLY good for just giving birth) that he and Adam were closing the Luncheonette. Then it was Hank asking Drew to be his best man, and of course a river was flowing when Zeke asked Sarah if he'd been a good father. I stopped and blotted for a little while during the wedding, especially when I noticed Sarah was sporting some Amal Clooney gloves. Hated them on Amal, hated them on Sarah. Hattie's conversation with Max should have been edited out altogether, but whatever. Back to tears when Zeke and Camille asked Amber to move in with them, then a gusher for Drew's toast, especially when he talked about his Mom. Any time "Maybe I'm Amazed" comes on, I get the chills, perfect for Max's first dance with a girl. So happy knowing that Adam didn't take the water gig and went to work at Chambers Academy. He belongs there. And then…it happened. The best TV Dad ever, passed away peacefully at home and even though I couldn't catch my breath for a few minutes, Jason Katims made us all be okay with it. "Forever Young" played, the family gathered together on Zeke's favorite baseball field to play a game in his honor and spread his ashes. We got glimpses into everyone's future lives and everyone was happy and smiling and being Bravermen. The final smile was planted on my face when I saw Amber married to Jason Street and Luke Cafferty got his act together and was in his son's life. Friday Night Lights fans were LOVING this ending big time. THANK YOU (again) Jason Katims. I've loved every single moment with the Braverman family. They will forever be in my heart.

Halloween in the 90's and technically you could still dress in the same costumes now as they did then. Tonya and Nancy, Beavis & Butthead, Uma & JT from Pulp Fiction, Brett Michaels OR Axl Rose. (Who knew they looked so much alike-I never thought about it before.) Becca's still navigating her way through her time traveling. She pretty much ruined Friends for Lolly with the Monica/Chandler spoiler. Melanie and Becca were both Alice in Wonderland to Andy's white rabbit and Sean showed up and punched Andy in the face. The music continues to kick ass in this show. Mazzy Star, Bryan Adams, and Collective Soul. We did find out what happened with Jamie and Lolly that upset Becca so much. Jamie was so devastated when Lolly dumped him, and he O'D'ed and had his stomach pumped. Now Lolly's paralyzed with fear on how to proceed and not end up where fate lead her the first time. Becca took a job with a start up magazine where she'll need to find the trends that are going to be big in the future. Pretty perfect job for her. I'm SO jonesin for Becca's leather motorcycle jacket. I wonder where the cool kids bought them.

The Americans
I missed this show, just didn't realize it til I caught up on the premiere. Know what I missed the most? The ridiculous wigs and disguises that barely disguise our spy's. In the premiere, Elizabeth looked a lot like Velma from Scooby Doo didn't she? So where are we at this point? Well, Elizabeth and Phillip aren't doing that great with each other but mainly because they disagree about Paige's future. They're getting ready to tell her and have her join the cause. That's what Elizabeth wants, but Phillip's not on board at all. Apparently Frank Langella's their friend or mentor or something. Whatever he is to Liz and Phil, he definitely knows them, cares about them and cooks for them. Stan and Phillip checked out  EST for fun. Stan's in the midst of a fun divorce and he's spending a lot of time with Liz and Phil which only can mean that at some point he's going to figure out their secret, right? I mean what if he accidentally walks in to the wig closet? If I did my math right, Phillip's having sex with 3 different women in 3 different hair pieces. Elizabeth, Annalise and Martha who's now into the Kama Sutra. Unfortunately Annalise had been having sex with her informant and told him her secret, so he killed her. Now Phillip's got to deal with that problem. John Boy Walton and another CIA dude almost got Elizabeth but she's a badass and beat the crap out of both of them before running home in her Velma outfit. Interesting times for our favorite Russian spies.

The Vampire Diaries
Mergers are never easy. Sometimes they're good for the organization sometimes they aren't. I'm so sick of hearing about the Gemini Coven, Kai, Jo and the twins, and who needs to merge. Finally someone took the bull by the horns and just got it over with. Sure there was a bit of ridiculousness on the definition of a twin but in the Supernatural world, there's always a loophole. In the case of Luke and Kai, unfortunately that lunatic Kai came out the winner. Lovely now we have to deal with all his insanity. Whey can't we just have one peaceful week. There was some good news. Elena got a new daylight ring pretty easily. Liz didn't die, but she's going to and made Stefan promise to take care of her girl when she does. Problem is, Caroline heard her so now she'll doubt his feelings and think he's only into her because of her Mom. Elena, on the other hand, realized life's short even though she and Damon are immortal and gave in to her feelings and planted a huge smooch right on his lips while a bright light shined on them for dramatic purposes only. Yeahhhh Delana is BACK!

-Loving all the Deflate Gate jokes and skits, but pretty sure this is my favorite. Check it out:

-Even more Top Chef coming your way with a 13th Season renewal from Bravo yesterday. I know this will surprise many of you, but I've NEVER seen one episode of Top Chef. NEVER!

-VH1 is making my life difficult. They're moving Hindsight to Wednesday at 9pm instead of 10pm which sucks for me. I could really use it on Monday's but that's what DVR's and Season Passes are for right? They're also moving Mob Wives. Still on Wednesday's but now at 8pm for all of you viewers.

-Eddie Murphy hasn't been back to 30 Rock in 30 years. Could that be right? Am I THAT old? Eddie's going to be in attendance for SNL's 40th Anniversary special in a couple of weeks. Not sure if he'll be donning his Gumby suit or putting on his Buckwheat wig but I'm hoping Lorne gets him to do one of his classic characters.  If anyone can get Eddie to do something, Lorne can.

Friday's Trivia Question: Name the only SNL Castmembers to perform in a Super Bowl Half TIme Show.
