THE SHOWS

Celebrity Apprentice Season Finale
In my opinion, it was a no-brainer for Leeza Gibbons to win Celebrity Apprentice. Leeza won almost every challenge, she handled herself with grace and dignity and to quote her, she "cut out the crazy and dropped the drama." Geraldo should never have even gotten to the finals, his team lost many times, he was annoying, difficult and he kept the crazy. Knowing this, not sure why we needed a 2 hour finale other than ad dollars. Sure I was moved by the tribute to Joan Rivers, but did we really need so much of a recap, and individual clip packages on Leeza and Geraldo's charities? I could have lived without that. The best part of the finale (and most of the episodes) is of course Donald Trump. It's really all about TRUMP isn't it? You may love Donald or hate him but, he is GOOD TV. You can't take your eyes off him. From the hair, to the desk blotter, to the attractive assistant who does nothing, to his odd looking yet over confident sons, to his beautiful and eloquent daughter, he's hard not to enjoy. He got Keshia Knight Pulliam's name wrong, but recovered well. He called Geraldo a "Bombastic news icon" was that a compliment? Not sure who proclaimed Donald "America's Boss" but guessing it was HIM! Loved him revisiting "phonegate" with Kenya and Vivica. That was too much. Other highlights from the way-to-long finale: Geraldo with Butter Beer in his Mustache (actually that was a low-light) Tony Orlando, being called "one of the seminole performers in this country" moved himself to tears and then performed "Tie a Yellow Ribbon." Olivia Newton John performed "Magic" Ian Ziering used the word Mitzvah, Brandi's see through outfit and my son pointing out that she had back fat and finally, Paulina Vega, Miss USA, who mark my words, WILL be participating next Season. Fun times all around. Congratulations to Leeza Gibbons on a WELL deserved win.

Downton Abbey
Can the Grantham's throw a dinner party or what? Always drama at their place. Robert thought he'd have only peaceful dinners now that Ms. Bunting left town. Little did he know Larry Merton would be even worse than she was! He insulted Mrs. Crawley, Cora, Robert, and pretty much everyone else before Tom lost it and called him a "bastard" (GASP!) and told him to get OUT!  Cora and Robert were really having a rough week. They really should have cancelled dinner but that would just be rude. Robert's dog, Isis, is dying of Cancer and Cora found out that her Mother-in-Law and Sister-in-Law knew all along about Edith's illegitimate kid and never told her. She was pissed off. I'm sure her anger index climbed a bit higher when she heard the kid's name was Marigold. Only Edith, Downton's own Debbie Downer,  would name her kid after a super smelly flower that attracts bee. Cora got on a train, found Edith and Marigold and came up with a ridiculous story as to why Edith NEEDED to adopt this child and raise her at home.Robert was so distraught about Isis he just let Cora deal with it all. Mary thought adopting the Marigold was ridiculous but she's got other things on her mind. Mary and Charles smooched at the movies so that Tony Gillingham would finally get the hint. He did but Charles is leaving for Poland and won't be back for a year. Rose and Atticus are officially engaged, so we'll hopefully have a Downton wedding to look forward to. It didn't seem to bother anyone on the Grantham side that Atticus is Jewish, but Atticus's Dad isn't thrilled that his son is marrying a shiksa. Maybe Rose and Mrs. Crawley can have a double wedding. If Mrs. Crawley is still marrying Lord Merton that is. Anna's still calling her husband Mr. Bates when they're alone which drives me mental. Anna and Mr. Bates and Mrs. Hughes and Mr. Carson are all thinking of buying places to retire to. Maybe they can all buy a B&B and run it together. That would make a fun spinoff, right?

Episodes
Matt's gotta sell stuff to pay back the IRS. Just as he was trying to prioritize what to sell,  his Dad landed in the hospital in need of a quadruple bypass. For some reason Sean and Beverly went to the hospital with him, hung out in the hospital and even faked Friends autographs in the hospital. They had no idea why they were there but it did make for some funny moments. Matt told Sean a story about his Dad that I really can't figure out how to do justice so I'll just urge to you watch the episode. Carol's entire lesbian storyline is hilarious. She was desperately in need of a pet name for Helen and couldn't come up with one until an extremely vile thing happened that I also can't figure out how to type with out grossing you all out so again, you'll have to watch the episode to be as nauseated as I was. Of course both stories were still funny, just need you to see them to appreciate them. I don't know what it is about Carol and the way she hikes but every time she does it, I laugh like a maniac. Matt's Dad and stepmother were both super annoying, but in a funny way. Net/net, Matt sold the plane and the cars but kept his Dad's condo. Deep down, Matt really is a good guy. Awwww Joeeeyyyyyyy

Girls
I was thiiiiiiiis close to giving up hate-watching this show. Thiiiiiis close. I was out when Jessa and Hannah slapped each other in the face, I was out again when Hannah peed in her room in a garbage can, I was out when Hannah fake showered and watched Mimi Rose Howard on her iPhone, I was out when Laird and that freak menage-hugged Hannah and then started making out. I was out when Hannah burned her hand and Ray was freaking out about his neighborhood noise and I was DEFINITELY out when Adam and Hannah broke up because if Adam's gone, I'm gone, right? WRONG…Just as I was about to delete my season pass, who do I see in the scenes for next weeks episode? Jason Ritter a Parenthood fave and the guy Sarah Braverman SHOULD have married. Now I HAVE to continue the hate-watching one more week.

THE OTHER STUFF

-It's official, I will have to learn to live with regret for the rest of my life. After hearing about what went on at the SNL After Party on Jimmy Fallon last night, I am declaring myself the biggest loser of 2015. I officially made the WRONG decision. Head is bowed in shame. Check it out: http://www.nbc.com/the-tonight-show#segments/112616

-I can't decide if Conan filming his show from Cuba is interesting to me or not. He's the first to do so since 1961 but I'm guessing he can't bring any celebs with him, so who's he interviewing? This past weekend Conan and his crew were in Havana filming for a segment in March. I'm sort of interested but the question is...am I interested ENOUGH?

Tuesday's Trivia Question: 2 years ago, this film won Best Picture but it's director didn't even get nominated for an award. Name the film and the director.
