I really need some one's liver light bulb to go off soon. Maybe when Scarlett and the doctor go for drinks it'll come up again and he'll realize the miracle is up in her room writing songs about her real Daddy. Don't you just hate Luke Wheeler more and more? I hated Jeff Forbes, but Luke hired him, used him up and then fired him. What a tool. When is Juliette going to give birth already? Every time Avery's phone rang, I thought it was the "my water broke" moment, but no baby yet and she really looks like she's going to explode. Nice to see Gunnar NOT talking about Mika. I love when he and Scarlett and Avery sing, they're really pretty good. No more Mika, PLEASE! I'm begging you writers. NO MORE! Poor Teddy, thought he was in the clear, thought he could breathe easier and now, he will be front page news. Good cliffhanger, I didn't see that one coming.
Empire
The more we learn about Lucious Lyon the more we hate him. Voting his son down and then telling him how much he can't stand him was brutal to watch and then they showed the lovely garbage can scene again but this time there was a view from inside the can. OMG that killed me. So net/net, he only really loves Hakeem. Nice guy. Is it my imagination or does Dre's wife always have her hair in curlers or a face mask or some beauty treatment going on when she and Dre get down? Didn't need to see her puke salad dressing at the investor's dinner table. She's nasty. I loved Cookie's legacy plan, too bad that went out the window, but Cookie rocks, even back in the day with her blond wig and her big earrings, she rocked. Great Cookie line this week: "if you want Cookie's nookie, ditch the b*tch" classic. Congrats to Jamal for finally coming out. The White Party and the world were fine with it, but Lucious wasn't. I'm betting once he sees the "You Are Beautiful" download numbers, he'll feel a tiny bit better about things. Who do we think would win in a cage match between Cookie and Naomi Campbell? They both scare the cr@p out of me! This weeks animal print/fur count:10
Suits
Of course Harvey saved the day. No way anyone would let Donna go to jail. Who would make folders? Who would answer the phone? When Harvey showed up at Donna's place for thank you drinks, didn't you hope they'd end up in bed or at least we'd get a juicy kiss? I mean the series can't go on much longer. Not with everyone knowing the secret. Once the end is in sight, Harvey and Donna would hopefully, finally, get together. Next weeks the finale and I don't think they've announced the shows renewal yet, have they? I think they should make the next one the. Just my opinion. I love everyone in the show and they all need new gigs at this point.
Hindsight
My theory of what happened between Lolly and Becca to break up their friendship was TOTALLY backwards. My guess was that Lolly did something to Becca but it was Becca that lied to Lolly and cheated on Sean with Kevin, the guy Lolly was secretly into. I'm glad we finally found out. Becca's trying hard not to make the same mistake again but, depending on the way fate works, it just might have to happen. No real good 90's references, or clothes or anything. Big rave and some viral marketing ideas from the future but nothing super juicy really. Sean is one of these guys that looks super cute one minute and ugly the next. It's the hair. I think.
THE OTHER STUFF
-Lots of positive press for Modern Family's "Connection Lost" episode Wednesday night. For the record, it was all shot on Iphones and Ipads and Apple didn't commission it, didn't ask, didn't pay, nada. Steve Levitan just loves Apple products and the idea came from his own life.
-World CSI Day will be next Wednesday, 3/4. CSI is going to try to break the Guiness World Record for Largest Ever TV Drama Simulcast . This event celebrates 15 years of the CSI franchise which is one of the biggest, most successful in the world. It also aligns to the premiere of the newest CSI, CSI Cyber. The current world record was set by the 50th anniversary episode of Doctor Who which was broadcast in 98 countries, across 6 continents in November of 2013. On Wednesday at 7pm EST, CSI will air "Kitty" the pre-spinoff for CSI Cyber, in 150 countries. CSI Cyber launches that night at 10pm
