Scandal. That's it, just Scandal

THE ANSWER TO THURSDAY'S HARD TRIVIA QUESTION: Howard Cosell was the host of Battle of the Network Stars but had many different co-hosts.
FIRST FIVES:Phyllis DiCesare, Gerald Piscopo, He Who Shall Not Be Named, Larry Price & Karen Feldman
HONORABLE MENTION: Brett Blattman, not for getting the trivia question correct, but for letting me know that Nolan Gould, the kid that plays Luke on Modern Family may not be such a bad actor after all. Nolan's actually a member of Mensa and DOES REALLY play the banjo. Thanks Blattman
The Answer to Thursday's Easy Trivia Question. Jon, Johnny, Joan, Jimmy, Jimmy, James and   all had their own late night talk show AND their names all start with the letter "J"
The song in The Goldbergs was "Have a Little Faith in Me"
The Cosby reference was when Diane sang the same song, "Modern Day" as Rudy did in the famous Huxtable anniversary episode

THE SHOWS

Scandal

Man, there is certainly always Gladiator work for OPA and rarely does any of it happen during normal business hours. This week, Jake, and the magic sticky window were off duty, but Liv and the gang had to save Cyrus and his pretty decent hairpiece from the evil Sally Langston who had proof, thanks to Leo/Dan Ackroyd, that Cyrus's marriage to Michael was a sham. Lots of flashbacks and crazy dreams before Liv, found the white coat, saved the day and threw a beautiful White House wedding. Flashback #1-Cyrus, Sonny Crockett hairpiece and sports jacket proposing to his first fake wife, Janet. Flashback #2-Cyrus, better hair, a much better sports jacket with James his first real husband. Flashback #3-Liv, Fitz a ton of rose petals  and the story of how Fitz gave her the ring with the french name. (If you can remember the name…5 points) Cyrus met Michael's horrible parents and reminded us that under all his crazy, he does have a heart. Sure he had given it to James, but I think there's a tiny piece left in there.
2 songs last night, more bonus points if you know them.

THE OTHER STUFF

-Ragnar and the Vikings gang will be back for a 4th Season over on History Channel. I've been watching this season, but always on delay. Good season so far, but it's starting to be a bit formulaic. Super violent battle, story, super violent battle. I can tell by how much time is left in the episode when the super violent battle is coming. Maybe change things up a bit?

-HBO renewed Vice through 2018, never seen it.

-Do I have Me TV? Even if I did, not sure I'd be that interested in Vince Gilligan's "Island of Me TV, plus, I'll be away in Antigua and won't be thinking at all about Vince Gilligan when it airs on April 5th. I'm a bit surprised at his night of programming. Twilight Zone, Honeymooners, Taxi & Columbo. I guess his night was sort of crafted from what Me TV had to offer up, right?

-With Oscar ratings down this year, no shocker that Neil Meron and Craig Zadan won't be coming back to produce next year. The odds were against a 3peat. People really need to use the Costanza strategy whenever possible. Get out while you're ahead. They went one year too many but they had NPH, it could have worked.

Friday's Trivia Question: Hawkeye, Hot Lips, Klinger, Colonel Potter, BJ and Radar. Name the show.
