THE SHOWS
The Goldbergs
To this day whenever I go to any stadium, with or without my son, I'm always afraid I'm going to forget where I parked or lose the people I came with. These days it's a lot easier with cell phones but back in the day, when there were no cell phones the rule was always…if we get separated, MEET AT THE CAR, but I never knew where the car was. In hindsight, who would know where their Mom parked the car? Thank god I never got lost. I totally digressed there but the entire Goldberg storyline with Murray and Adam at the Phillies game was RIGHT on the money. I teared up a bit when they finally found each other in the parking lot. There was a no-way-that-would-happen-moment when the security guards threw Murray out of the stadium but I didn't let myself get too upset about it as it. While Adam was growing a set of b@lls and going potty on his own in Veterans Stadium, Barry and Erica were trying to grow a pair and stick up to Bev, but anyone who watches The Goldbergs knows that Bev ALWAYS wins. Add Jewish guilt to the woman's powers and she's unbeatable. Loved the bedazzled harlequin clown riding a unicorn high-fiving the dolphin almost as much as I loved the Mork & Mindy T-Shirt and the reference to one of my all time faves…Battle of the Network Stars. Great song at the end of The Goldbergs. 5 bonus points if you remember it.

Survivor
Rodney is TOO annoying. The hair, the Boston, the incorrect usage of the phrase "apples and oranges" the ego, all of it. I thought for sure the tribe would blindside him and not Joaquin but the loss of his "bro" will definitely piss him off big time. Was it me or did you feel like we were TOTALLY intruding on that poor sea turtle? I'll bet she had no idea she was doing all her business with a cameramen and an entire tribe of American's looking on.  I thought we were done with the word "collar" but Jeff just had to overuse it at tribal. Damn you Probst.

Black-ish
I know I keep harping on this, but last night's episode of Black-ish truly proved my theory that less Rainbow + less Rainbow hair = a very enjoyable episode. It was Dre's birthday and as much as he hated to admit it, he was feeling 40. Dre was working on throwing himself the coolest birthday party ever. He had the cool kicks, the cool wheels, the cool shades, and Jermaine Dupree spinning records. The kids were trying to come up with a great birthday gift for their Dad. Did anyone catch the Cosby Show/Rudy reference? 10 point bonus if you did. They ended up with a touching photo montage but I personally would have loved more Lionel Richie Jr and his ventriloquist act. When I'm right, I'm right…less Rainbow, more Lionel Richie Jr. That kid's awesome.

Modern Family
I don't know why I turned it on. Didn't I say I was done with Modern Family? I thought I did. Maybe Phil, Claire and Jay should dump the rest of the family and start their own show. They're the only cast members I still can deal with. Gloria, Mitch, Cam and pretty much every one of the kids are all boring, annoying and is it my imagination or did they all lose their acting ability? There's no way I'd ever believe that Luke can play the banjo or do a triple flip thing. He's a moron. I need to remember not to tune in next week.
THE OTHER STUFF
-James Corden's show is really pretty good. He's funny and talented and so far I'd say 3 for 3. Last night, he did some carpool karaoke with Mariah Carey that was thoroughly enjoyable. Check it out: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z2iwQoKD6mg

-Sorry honey, Jeremy Clarkson's officially gone from Top Gear.  Apparently the "fracas" over hot steak and fries at the end of a shoot was the "fracas" straw that broke the producers back and he is G...O...N...E...my guess...super long road trip in a really cool, really fast car to clear his head and figure out how to navigate through this mess and into a new gig.

-Anyone who hasn't seen Outlander on Starz, now's your chance to catch up. Starting today, Starz is making the original 8 episodes available for everyone for free. You have a week people, catch up before the 2nd half of the season starts on April 4th.

-You guys know how excited I am about Lip Sync Battle on Spike, right? Well, the first show is available on the Spike TV App right now. I checked it out last night before my Parent/Teacher conference and it has potential to be awesome but there is one MAJOR problem...you can't see the lips!  LL Cool J is great, Chrissy Teigen is great, the audience and the set is great but when the celebs put the microphone right in front of their mouth you can't tell at all if they are doing a good job or not. They need to eliminate the microphones from the competition completely. Also, the camera has to stay relatively close to the face. Yes, Common and John Legend were doing some fun dance moves but this is a LIP SYNC BATTLE!  Seriously, if Jimmy Fallon's people, John Krasinski's people, Stephen Merchants people or Spike TV's people are reading this. LISTEN TO ME...fix this and you have a WINNER!

-HBO cancelled Looking after the 2nd seasons finale. I wasn't surprised at all. It was definitely nowhere near as awesome as Queer as Folk was back in the day. The guys weren't hot enough and something was missing. I didn't stick with it but I know some of you did. For those that did, ya gotta admit that without someone as cool and smoking hot as Brian Kinney, it was only a matter of time.

-I don't have Apple TV and I'm not a news person, but anyone who does and is, CNNgo is now available for you guys.
