HBO released some pretty amazing numbers yesterday. Game of Thrones season premiere was seen by 18.1 million viewers based on live-plus-7, HBO Go, HBO Now, and on-demand. This was an increase of 1 million viewers vs last year. I know, you want to know how many of the 18.1 million were on HBO Now. No idea. HBO didn't go into the level of detail. They did release a few other numbers though: Going Clear, the Scientology documentary I was obsessed with, to date has been seen by 6.8 million viewers. Silicon Valley, a show I feel absolutely nothing about, 5.7 million viewers for its premiere and Veep,  a show I think  I want to binge, 4 million viewers. Your move Netflix.

THE SHOWS

The Good Wife
Was that a crazy episode or what? Alicia had to resign her States Attorney gig. As much as I was bummed for her, I was glad that things would get back to normal. You know I didn't want her to win in the first place. I wanted her back at Florick Agos & Lockhart where she belongs. Then, all would be right in my world again. Of course that's not what happened at ALL. Alicia went back, then she was going to start her own firm, then she went back then she was starting her own firm again, then when Kalinda filled her in, she went to Diane and she was going back and then, when Oliver Platt said NFW, she was O…U…T. So the question for Alicia is…now what? Diane was doing some actual work in the middle of all the craziness. Trying to help an old lady get off on a drug charge. Anyone recognize the judge on the case? 10 bonus points if you do. Kalinda's last hurrah was pretty interesting. She set some things straight and left quite a few balls in the air, namely…Cary's.

Nurse Jackie
Akalidis has it IN for Jackie Peyton big time. She's not allowed to touch anyone or anything in the ER other than a broom, a gurney and soiled linens. Fun times. Carrie miscarried but only told Jackie about it. So I guess she really was preggers. Coop was already in the nesting phase and went and bought a house without telling her. Great communication between these two, huh? Akalides assigned Zoey to watch Jackie pee in a cup which freaked her out so much she needed a Xanax. Problem was, Eddie didn't have a prescription for it, his inventory project wasn't done,  and Akalidis can't get Jackie, so she got Eddie and booted his butt out. He didn't seem to care, on his way he planted a huge kiss on Jackie which proved how much he loves her. She had to smell pretty bad dealing with all that nasty pee filled linen all day. While looking for the laundry, Jackie met a freaky basement dude who told her that All Saints has been sold and would be closing soon. Dramatic music and...roll credits. Now we know how this will all end.

Jane the Virgin
Is anyone still watching this one? It really is pretty adorable. You know what I mean, dumb smile adorable. Jane's adorable, Rogalio, her Dad is adorable, her BF and ex-BF are adorable and the narrator and the animation is hilarious. Of course the plot twists are crazy but they're supposed to be. I've never actually watched a real telenovela, I know you aren't supposed to think too much.  You're just supposed to sit back and enjoy the ride. I still enjoy every minute. Last night's episode had a VERY pregnant Jane in a 50 Shades ensemble belly butting her current nemesis, Petra (well, I guess you could say that Petra's Mom, Magda is also her current nemesis since she pushed Jane's abuela down the stairs) Not loving Rafael and Jane on the outs at all. I need them back together before the baby arrives, but Michael keeps saving the day and blurring Jane's vision.  Could Jane end up back with Michael or will she run (or waddle) back into Rafael's arms. Tune in next week.

THE OTHER STUFF

-Carrie's going to Germany next Season. No idea if the ugliest TV baby ever will be in Berlin with her, but either way, Claire Danes and Homeland will be making history by becoming the first American TV series to be entirely shot in Germany. Enjoy the beer and brat Claire.
-Have we ever discussed Strike Back? It hasn't been on in nearly 2 years, but it's coming back on 7/31 and you NEED to binge this one and get on board. If I were to describe it I'd say it's 24 + Homeland with way more fight scenes and 2 super hot, super cool Jack Bauer's. Stonebridge and Scott are awesome special ops guys and they both take their clothes off a lot. Seriously, there are only 3 Seasons, get on this one guys. The 4th Season is the final one so it's the PERFECT time to start watching. Have I ever steered you wrong?

-The Webby Award winners were announced over the weekend.  Note to the Webby's …ya may want to rethink letting all the cats out of the bag weeks before the ceremony will be available online. It's no fun when we already know the winners guys! Do I need to watch Jimmy Fallon, Funny or Die, Jimmy Kimmel, Netflix, Hulu, #LikeA Girl,  Pandora, Ellen, Ellie Kemper and Tituss Burgess  for Kimmy Schmidt accept their awards. There's no fun in knowing the outcome especially if you're trying to attract an audience. Just a thought.
-Lifetime's getting on the Full House bandwagon. The unauthorized Saved by the Bell story was pretty enjoyable and obviously did well ratings wise, so Lifetime just greenlit the unauthorized Full House story which I'm already betting does better than Saved by the Bell. Question is...did they already find the next Olsen twins? Who's playing Michelle?

Tuesday's Trivia Question: Scandal, E-Ring and Law & Order name the actor who connects all 3.
