-6.6 million people tuned in to see Stephen Colbert's first show Tuesday night beating out both Jimmy's. You know the deal though, lots of sampling for a while and then things settle down and it gets interesting. I didn't think Colbert would be much competition for the Jimmy's...when I'm wrong, I totally admit it. The late night wars are really going to get interesting.

-In addition to the big audience tuning in to Stephen's show, there also seemed to be a lot of Tweeting going on as well. As you can see Colbert's show was the number one Tweeted show on Tuesday but Oreo and Sabra Hummus were also big winners in the Twitterverse.
1836 Oreo Tweets during the Donald Trump bit, 1634 generic hummus Tweets and 351 Sabra specific Tweets. I send a new trend here...

- I was tennis-ed out Tuesday night and didn't watch Venus and Serena go at it,  but not everyone was feeling the need for some mindless Bravo Below Deck fun. The match delivered a 4.8 rating for ESPN.

THE SHOWS

Big Brother
Last nights episode was absolutely ridiculous. I can't stand when these houseguests forget or discard the fact that Big Brother is first and foremost A GAME! You are locked in a house all Summer with one goal…WIN the money! Love…SHMOV. I don't know whose crying is worse, Liz's or Vanessa's. Liz had the gaspy thing going for her which is a much more enjoyable train wreck type cry to watch but Vanessa can barely get a sentence out without tears at this point and it's getting old.
Note to Austin...the baby beard was bad, the baby triplet beard is worse but the baby triplet beard while wearing nothing but shorts is almost too much for my eyes to handle. The ewwwwww factor is off the charts for me when I look at this guy. You'd think after all this time I'd get used to it. I HAVEN'T.
Okay next...JESSIE was back. UGH he was bigger and more annoying than ever. Gotta admit I did enjoy everyone in their tutu's for Bowlerina. An oldie but a goodie. Anyone catch that weird cut of John lifting weights for a split second? Also, one grammatical note to Julia...FASTLY isn't a word.  We're down to five after tonight. Hoping it's LIZ that walks out that door. Let's see how fast Julia turns on her future brother-in-law!

THE OTHER STUFF

Like I said…let the late night wars begin. Tuesday Stephen Colbert entered the battle. Jimmy Fallon countered on Wednesday with his ace in the hole, Justin Timberlake. He didn't wait til the middle or the end of the show…he kicked the night off with the History of Rap Part 6! Check it out!

You'd think that would be all,  but no…Jimmy's in this thing to WIN! If History of Rap part 6 wasn't enough, Lip Sync Battle with Ellen raises the bar. http://www.nbc.com/the-tonight-show/video/lip-sync-battle-with-ellen-degeneres/2903118
