The Republican Debate on CNN was seen by 23 million people on television and there were 4.5 million live streams. Which resulted in CNN's biggest ratings in their history. Prior to Wednesday's debate, the networks highest rated debate was in January 2008 with the California Democratic Debate but that was only 8.3 million viewers. The most watched CNN program ever prior to Wednesday's debate was Larry King Live with Ross Perot and Al Gore and that was 16.8 million viewers. If I were Jeff Zucker I would have sent Donald Trump a huge basket of something yesterday, but what basket do you send a billionaire that has everything? Maybe one with combs, mirrors and Aqua Net?

THE SHOWS

Last night was Back to School night, but since the teachers are working  without a contract, they didn't show up. To support them, we didn't show up either. We went out for cocktails and drank to them instead. There really wasn't anything on in Primetime for us to rush home to. NOTHING. Sure I still have 84 minutes left of The Bastard Executioner, but I JUST COULDN'T DO IT. Tuned in to a few minutes of Peyton Manning but then, the cocktails had their way with me and I went to bed. I did watch all the late night shows this morning and have 2 clips for you guys to check out.

On the Tonight Show, Jimmy Fallon and Kaley Cuoco played Puppardy. OMG I neeeeed to play this game! I actually am getting a puppy tomorrow. A Golden Doodle named Senna Scott Carruba so I could be sitting in a chair tomorrow with a million puppies all over me tooooo! These are the times that I think Jimmy and I would be really good friends in real life.

Pretty sure this is the first Stephen Colbert clip I've ever posted, but I just found this entire bit hilarious. Super clever. Check it out: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MYJz4okRpUk

THE OTHER STUFF

-Since I have no news at all to report and there was nothing on TV, I thought I'd share a "Stars…they're JUST like us" moment from last night.
As my husband and I were walking into Griffin's for drinks last night we bumped into Tracy Morgan who was with his nanny and baby, food shopping at Kings. The Nanny, the baby and the groceries, got into a giant Cadillac Escalade with a driver. Tracy got into his $300,000 Lamborghini and drove home. Stars…they're JUST LIKE US.

Just a reminder to watch the Emmy's on Sunday and play along for fabulous prizes! Get your Emmy Ballot in today!

Have a great weekend.
