On Sunday night, Showtime's new show Billions debuted with some record breaking numbers for the network. 3.0 million viewers tuned in to see Paul Giamatti and Damian Lewis beating out the premiere of Ray Donovan which previously delivered 2.9 million viewers.  Billions drew 1.6 million viewers BEFORE the launch and 1.4 million on Sunday night. Who watched?

THE SHOWS

Real Housewives of Beverly Hills
The women were still in the Hamptons for Kyle's Pop-up Shop opening and Bethenny was still around to annoy everyone. I can't believe how much I used to love her and how much I can't stand her now. Kyle's aunt stopped by the store to drop off a photo of her Mom and make her cry. Does Ken have any of his own friends? He just sat there Jiggy and that sleepy sad face while all he women did their thing. Of course he insisted on a chair for Jiggy to sit on. Which was ridiculous. Sometimes, it is a bit much with Jiggy. Eileen didn't learn from the last time, so she went back at Lisa who just can't apologize ever.  Eileen tried another tactic, she changed the subject and revealed that she had been in an abusive relationship so THERE Lisa!  Hope THAT made you feel bad. Erika's plane was pretty sweet, she even had her own stewardess named Victoria who couldn't seem to open a tea bag which should be a prerequisite for getting the job, no? If a stewardess can't make tea, that's a problem. Faye Resnick was back to help Kyle with her closet. That's one OJ connection. Then, at Lisa's doggie celebration, another OJ connection showed up, a woman named Kathryn who used to be married to Marcus Allen and who used to be friends with Lisa Rinna. Kathryn didn't want to talk OJ at ALL. Interesting how she showed up now that the OJ trial and the OJ mini series are back in the forefront again. I didn't love her, but I really am enjoying Erika. She's a great addition.

Married at First Sight
OMG Ashley is so f'ing annoying. How could the pros even choose her to be on this show? She's such a downer and she apparently told them that she takes a REALLY long time to get intimate with men. Why'd they pick her when they only have 6 weeks to make a love connection? How in the world can she not like David? He's super nice, cute and trying DESPERATELY to make it work. Ashley has SUCH a puss on her face all the time. Why on earth did she show up for the audition? Vanessa  and Dre are doing really well, they went to visit V's Mom and look at baby pictures. Even Sam and Neil seem to be moving in the right direction. I feel like Sam has a touch of bipolarity to her. She makes such crazy odd faces and has some intense mood changes. Next week, David tells Ashley off and I can't wait!

THE OTHER STUFF

-Great news for anyone who has Cablevision! Finally...the POP Network has been added to the lineup. I've been dying for this one. Schitts Creek, Easiest Game Show Ever, That 70s Show, Queens of Drama, Unusually Thicke, The Story Behind, Rock This Boat and so many more shows to check out. For me, it's channel 245! Enjoy

-I wonder if Kelly Ripa and Michael Strahan negotiated their new 5 year deal together. I'm guessing they didn't because Kelly's been on the show way longer than Michael so she probably makes a ton more than he does. But I'm sure they just discussed the length of years of the new contract and then their salaries were done separately. Either way, they're good until 2020. It's honestly got to be one of the best gigs ever. Couple of hours in the AM, celebs, coffee mugs filled with who-knows-what then home. Not bad if you ask me.

-Lip Sync Battle has been renewed for a 3rd Season and 20 more episodes. I really think the show could be SO much better than it is now. Take it more seriously, let the viewers vote and KEEP THE CAMERAs on the lips!

-If you've never seen the Eagles documentary, Showtime, as a tribute to Glenn Frey,  will be re-airing part 1 again on Friday night at 7:55pm and  part 2 on Saturday night at 6pm. This is one of THE BEST documentaries I've ever seen.

Wednesday's Trivia Question: Who was the executive producer of FYI on Murphy Brown?
