-KELLY UPDATE: Necklace on…bad, gray dress with 80’s flap…okay, Michael Strahan…still pretty good…I like him a lot…

-BEING HUMAN on Syfy has been renewed for a 3rd season already…this season has been really good so far.  I finally watched this week’s episode last night and it got a little dark, as Aidan tried so hard to stay away from the live blood and just couldn’t take it anymore and went nuts…I guess, I can see the downside of being a vampire when you watch this show, compared to THE VAMPIRE DIARIES…Josh found some pure bred werewolves around town…well actually they found him.  It seems Boston and Mystic Falls are supernatural hot spots these days…I feel bad for Meaghan Rath, the actress that plays the ghost of the show, Sally.  When you are a ghost you stay in the same clothes you died in, so she never gets to change outfits…what a bummer for her.

The concept of CBS’s  PERSON TO PERSON is a bit odd, Charlie Rose and Lara Logan don’t actually go into any of the celebrities homes personally..they sit in chairs in a studio far far away, and talk to the celebrities on a wall of screens (with very distracting grid lines ) and take a tour and ask some questions.  First stop...George Clooney's LA house...George walked around his house clutching a very large coffee mug for the entire interview, and basically showed a lot of photos and memorabilia he has collected over the years  Finally we got a tour.  Awesome screening room, wine cellar, outside patio and basketball court...I think he might have more TV's then the Carruba's.. Warren Buffets offices other than some pretty amazing photographs were really nothing special at all...It all looked frozen in time from maybe the late 70s.  Warren has lived in the same house in Omaha, Nebraska for 53 years and has worked in the same office for 50 years. He doesn't have a computer in his office...he is old school and reads everything that helps him to make his decisions. Jon Bon Jovi's house was the most formal and over the top  of the 3... 16 waterfront acres, a studio right down the road...and a pub all his own...no DWI's for him.

-SUBURGATORY was funnier than MODERN FAMILY this week and I am not sure if people are noticing, but Jeremy Sisto is really not the star of this show anymore…Cheryl Hines and her insanely amazing body have officially stolen the show.  Was she that hot in CURB YOUR ENTHUSIASM?  Or that funny?  I guess she was more the straight man (woman) in that show.  Tessa dumped the cute boyfriend and while Jay Mohr wasn’t in this week’s episode, looks like he will be coming back soon as he is in really hot water with his wife.  I don’t care how you bring Jay back…just bring him.

-Other than Greg Kinnear’s guest appearance as a potential client of Phil’s who apparently kisses EVERYONE on the lips, MODERN FAMILY wasn’t super funny this week.  I guess they can’t all be home runs.  This episode was sort of boring.

-I can tell you what show is never boring …REVENGE.  Every single episode is filled with awesome twists and suspense. This week, William Devane showed up as Grandpa Grayson, but he pretty much is really just an older Greg Sumner, which is fine by me (and I am sure to any of you who might be a KNOTS LANDING fan).  Grandpa is back to make sure the Grayson name doesn’t get dragged through the mud.  (Rich people seem to be obsessed with the reputation of their good family names) If that wasn’t enough…just when we thought Charlotte would never find out who her real father is…boom it’s revealed by the person you least expect.  Next week appears to be the episode that was referenced in the pilot where we all think that Daniel Grayson is dead…guessing now he makes a miraculous recovery…he better, he is way too hot to kill.

-You will notice that I didn’t watch IDOL last night…we made a family decision that we weren’t going to give it up completely, but we were going to watch it on DVR over the weekend, but we would be watching THE VOICE…live…just wanted to follow up on that from yesterday.

-Surprised that the premiere of THE RIVER didn’t do as well as expected…I am betting that once the Live+ numbers come in it will increase a bit.

-While most Americans were watching the SUPERBOWL on Sunday, some people didn’t…shockingly the next most watched show in Primetime other than the SUPERBOWL was one of my favorites…DOWNTON ABBEY. 4MM people watched the show which was more than CSI MIAMI (3.1MM), FAMILY GUY (2.4MM), AMERICAN DAD (2.2MM) and THE MIDDLE (1.8MM) and I am guessing all of them chuckle a bit whenever some says “Mr. Bates”.

-For all of you VAMPIRE DIARIES fans…if you haven’t seen these photos from the Entertainment Weekly cover shoot…you need to:  I would have given anything to be Elena’s (Nina Dobrev) “stunt” double for this shoot…

-It is official, this season will be the final one for HOUSE…as you know I don’t watch anything medical so this has no affect on me and my DVR, but for those of you that love the show…at least you had 8 seasons…live and be well

- I know I said a while back that I was done with my Netflix bashing once I dumped the service.  But with the awesome deal I reported yesterday between Verizon and Redbox which made me smile…I feel the need to continue with the newest development that must be killing Reed Hastings…Amazon and Viacom. Amazon Prime was already a pretty good service and now there will be even more awesome content to choose from as the two companies have entered into a licensing agreement that will allow Amazon Prime members to instantly stream a bunch of TV shows from Viacom-owned networks, including Nickelodeon, MTV, Comedy Central, Spike, TV Land, VH1, BET, CMT, Logo. and more. Amazon Prime is available for customers for $79 per year.  You also get free shipping if you are an Amazon Prime member, which of course…I am!  Thanks Jeff Bezos…love ya!

Thursday’s Grammy Trivia Question: Led Zeppelin, The Doors, The Who and The Grateful Dead...what do they all have in common?
