WATCHING WAY TOO MUCH 3/29/11

-The answer to yesterday's trivia question: Donald Trump went to Fordham University
for 2 years and then transferred to The Wharton School of Business which is a part of
the University of Pennsylvania.
We had 7 people with correct answers.


-I finally was able to watch Sunday's CELEBRITY APPRENTICE (CFF), so the media
blackout has been lifted.  I love that show!  This week's episode did not disappoint. 
Thanks for not blowing it for me!  Can't wait for next week when Meat Loaf has a
meltdown.


-Recapping the weekends NCAA ratings: CBS delivered a 3.1 and 9.1 million viewers for
the Saturday matchups. 


-Sunday night, the UNC/Kentucky NCAA game bled into the CBS primetime lineup by 17
minutes which definitely helped CBS to win the time period, but ratings for the night
overall were up on most nets.  SIMPSONS was up 12% to a 2.8, BOB'S BURGERS
delivered a 2.2 and AMERICAN DAD was up 25% to a 2.5.  On ABC, SECRET
MILLIONAIRE (CFF) up 8% to a 2.7, and my fave, CELEBRITY APPRENTICE was up 7%
to a season high 3.0.  While these programs all were up versus last week, the top 3
programs for the night were:
CELEBRITY APPRENTICE 3.3/9.4 Million Viewers UNDERCOVER BOSS 3.2/11.5 Million
Viewers AMAZING RACE 3.1/11.7 Million Viewers


-Whatever happened to Andrew Dice Clay you ask? (or maybe you didn't) Turns out he
will have a recurring role in the final season of ENTOURAGE on HBO this Summer.  The
Diceman will play a character in a cartoon show within the series and filming involving
Clay begins in two weeks.  The eighth and final season of Entourage premieres July 24.
Does anyone remember any of the Diceman's signature nursery rhymes?  Hickory
Dickory Dock perhaps?


- Warner Bros. has added 5 more movie titles to its FACEBOOK movie rental service:
the first two Harry Potter movies, "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone" and "Harry
Potter and the Chamber of Secrets"; Christopher Nolan's summer hit "Inception";
recent romantic comedy "Life As We Know It;" and kids movie "Yogi Bear,". The three
newer releases are renting for 40 FACEBOOK credits ($4) for a 48-hour window, $1
more than what "The Dark Knight: has been going for on the social networking
platform.


-Do you have Royal Wedding Fever?  Will you be watching any of the coverage?  NBC
News is launching a Royal Wedding Ipad App, in addition to all of its other coverage. 
All of its broadcast and cable networks will be running specials, prior to the actual
wedding date (Friday 4/29).  I think what I am looking forward to personally is
Countess LuAnn De Lesseps Coverage of the event.
