The answer to Wednesday's Trivia Question: Sort of a trick question...There was no reason at all that Newman and Jerry didn't like each other. Jerry Seinfeld just thought he needed a nemesis and Newman was the guy.
FIRST TWO: Phyllis DiCesare & Neil Moffatt

-Seth Myers joined Kelly and her nondescript black dress, yesterday on LIVE WITH KELLY. This was Seth's best appearance to date, mainly because he just came off an interesting finale episode of SNL and had some great stories to share about Mick Jagger and the week leading up to the final show. Unfortunately he won't have those great stories to share everyday, so I still say that Seth should not be a true co-host contender. Just an opinion.
-The finale of AMERICAN IDOL was pretty enjoyable. The way I watch IDOL (tuning in for finale week only) is the best way possible. I get to hear all of the top 12 guys and girls perform with stars like John Fogarty, Reba McIntyre, Neil Diamond & Chaka Khan. Pretty sure the average age of those guys and all the band members of Aerosmith is 52ish...and they say this is a kids show? JLo's and Rhinanna's performances made the younger end of the demo happy. If all the amazing performances weren't exciting enough, Ace Young, a former IDOL contestant, desperately in need of a haircut ,proposed to girlfriend Diana Degarmo, IDOL's season 3 runner up, as Ryan Seacrest stood there hoping his woman, Julianna Hough wasn't getting any big ideas for next season. The poignant proposal was quickly ruined when the signature Idol music played them off the stage and into a commercial. Jessica Sanchez performed a chilling rendition of "I'm Telling You I'm Not Going" with the amazing and really scary face making, Jennifer Holiday. I couldn't get over the extremely tight sausage suits that Chaka Khan and Fantasia Barrino wore. Who is backstage saying "yeah girl...that looks good!" I don't get it. Finally it was time to announce the winner...dim the lights, drum roll please...132 MILLION votes were cast and the winner was...Phillip Phillips!!! Congrat's to PhilPhil and while that is great news, he unfortunately needs to go back home for kidney surgery before he can truly became YOUR AMERICAN IDOL . So PhilPhil...good luck and here's hoping you make a speedy recovery.
-MODERN FAMILY's season finale was not at all what I thought it would be. SPOILER ALERT: Cam and Mitch got "the call" that there was a baby that they could just run over and pick up. The baby mama was hispanic so they brought Gloria along for translation purposes and she complained that she was nauseous from Cam's driving the entire time. Once they get to the hospital, a novela type drama unfolds and they leave without a baby. In the mean time Alex went to the prom with a gay kid, Haley assumes she isn't getting into college so as a back up plan, she wants to move in with Dylan, work at The Gap and apply to Community College. Just as she is breaking the news to Phil and Claire, we learn that Luke has been hiding the mail and of course, what's in there? A college acceptance letter...buh bye back-up plan and buh bye Dylan???. Lily, the most annoying child ever, had a recital that Cam and Mitch couldn't go to because they were busy NOT getting her a baby brother. She wouldn't go on and Jay has to talk her off the ledge and onto the stage. So Cam and Mitch don't get a baby and they are really bummed out, and so are we I guess, but just as we think that's pretty much it...GLORIA IS PREGNANT??? NO WAY!!! Totally didn't see that coming!
-SPOILER ALERT...BIG TIME!
Did you guys watch the REVENGE season finale...HOLY CRAP!!! I cannot believe what went down. Everything goes according to Amanda/Emily's plan. The feds get their information, The Grayson's are in shambles, she dumps Daniel (after Ashley whispers in his ear about the kiss she witnessed) faces(but doesn't kill) her Dad's Albino murderer with this huge silver ax (where does one purchase what appears to be a "designer" ax...Nieman's???) and is ready to go get her man, Jack Porter. All good right??? WRONG! Just as she is about to have her fairytale ending, Emily/Amanda shows up...and...wait for it...she's PREGNANT!!! NO FREAKING WAY!!! Okay so we think that's the big news right? WRONG AGAIN! The plane that Victoria, Lydia and the federal agent are on, along with the case full of evidence "goes down" because of course who was on the ground crew at the airport...wait for it...the former CTU chief aka Albino guy! When Amanda/Emily hears the news and thinks all is lost who shows up...her bff Nolan (although I am still convinced he is her brother) with of course, a back up of all the evidence that was on the plane, plus some big season finale type, cliffhanger news...wait for it...Amanda's Mother is alive! AMAZING FINALE!
-John Mayer and Dan Rather were guests in the clubhouse with Andy Cohen on WATCH WHAT HAPPENS LIVE and beside the fact that they all did shots together from the Jimmy Fallon shotski, they both played my favorite game...PLEAD THE FIFTH. Dan Rather answered every question, but when asked who he would "F, Marry, or Kill" Jessica Simpson, Taylor Swift, and Jennifer Anniston, John pleaded the fifth. My guess is that he would F Jessica, marry Taylor Swift and Kill Jennifer Anniston (she seems really needy!). WWHL gets better and better...loved it Andy!
-I know there are a ton of SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE fans out there...I am not one of them, but if you haven't set your Tivo's I hope you are home to watch the premiere tonight on FOX.
-If you are already jonesin for another singing contest and can't take another day without hearing a pretty young girl's attempt at a Whitney, Mariah or Celine song...tonight is also the premiere of DUETS on ABC.
