-Last week, almost every act on AMERICA'S GOT TALENT stunk, this week almost every act was unbelievable.  I have no idea how America is going to decide who to kick off the show this week...no idea.

While David the cannonball guy was amazing, I don't think he was THAT amazing, the extremely masculine cloggers were good, and probably would have been better had they followed Sharon Osbourne's suggestion to wear leather pants and go shirtless, so I doubt they will make it through. Ulysses the rubbery looking guy that sings TV theme songs...3 X's and he's' done.  Next up was the sand artist guy that I love, Joe Castillo, he could possibly make it through this week.  Gotta admit, I am over Sebastian, the mariachi kid.  He's a kid and he's got an old soul and a ton of talent, but I say no anyway.  A big fat HUGE yes to Eric Dittelman the mind reader.  This week he performed a DEAL OR NO DEAL stunt that was insane.  No idea how he did it, but it was amazing and he NEEDS to go through.  Another big fat YES has to be William Close,  the incredibly imaginative showman who played the stage harp and a ton of other self made instruments. I didn't love Unity in Motion even though the judges did, and I definitely thought that Eric and Olivia stunk.  Lindsay,  the Rita Wilson look a like who is a dancer/gymnast/contortionist could possibly make it.  This week Horse, the guy whose private parts have taken a major beating, still kept me interested, but not THAT interested, I am betting he's done.  The final act of the night was the incredible Olate Dog act.  I have no idea how someone trains their dogs to do these types of things but it was hypnotic.

WWTM's predictions for tonight: Olate Dogs, William Close, Eric Dittelman and Joe Castillo the sand man all make it.

-For the past few weeks on LIVE WITH KELLY, they have been having a co-host contest for regular viewers to compete for a shot to co-host for a day.  The winner, Michael Buckley was Kelly's co-host yesterday.  He was a bit loud, a bit over the top, a bit annoying, and WAY too animated for me. However, all of that said, he was comfortable and he seemed to be a natural co-host.  Kelly was wearing a red dress that was  okay, it sort of reminded me of something Mrs. Claus might wear.  If Kelly was wearing a Santa hat and glasses she could have passed for an anorexic Mrs. Claus

For those of you that know me personally, and even for those of you that only know me through this blog, you have to know by now that I love me a good boy band.  LOVE.  So when I saw in my TV listings that E! had a show called THE 15 AWESOMEST BOY BANDS, I had the TiVO on high alert!  I love a countdown of any kind, I love boy bands and I love learning something new, so here is a recap of one of the TV highlights of the Summer for me:

THE 15 AWESOMEST BOY BANDS EVER!!!!!!!
15-The Wanted---too new and I don't love their current hit song
14-Color Me Badd  (9 top 40 singles??? who knew) Sam Waters  from the band married Tamyra Gray from AMERICAN IDOL...I didn't know that either
13- O-Town from MAKING THE BAND was put together by Lou Perlman who also put together N-Sync and The Backstreet Boys
12-Menudo- gave birth to Ricky Martin.  Menudo had a total of 35 members and sold 65 million records
11-LFO, stood for Like Funky Ones (which I didn't know) I knew that Rich Cronin dated self proclaimed Vajazzler, Jennifer Love Hewitt, but I didn't know that he died of Leukemia at the age of 36
10-I love Robbie Williams but I had no idea that he was in the band Take That.   Robbie sold 70 million albums and is HUGE in the UK, but here in the US nobody knows who he is.
9- Hanson's  MmmBop is the only hit I can recall.  Anyway all 3 Hansons are married and between the 3 of them they have a total of 8 kids
8-98 Degrees which gave us Nick and Drew Lachey, but did you know that they sold 10 million albums?
7-Jonas Brothers aka JoBro's, I didn't really learn anything new and I was never a huge JoBro's fan
6-One Direction the newest of all of the boy bands and one that I personally love and even went to see( My favorite... Zayn)
5-Boyz 2 Men sold 60 million records
4-New Edition, how can you forget songs like Cool It Now and Candy Girl?  And of course we must thank New Edition for giving us Bobby Brown
3-New Kids on the Block.  Interesting fact, Lady Gaga opened for them on their reunion tour in 2008
2-N Sync interesting fact, Justin Timberlake's Mom came up with the name N-Sync as she figured out that the last letters of the band members first names spells N Sync (she must of been high to figure that one out)
1-BACKSTREET BOYS MY FAVORITE!!!! Ask my husband...I made him take me to see them when I was 7 months pregnant and then I just recently saw them again with NKOTB...I was relieved that they were number one, they are number one to me!

-Sherman Hemsley, aka George Jefferson, passed away yesterday at the age of 74.  Okay I have 2 things to say here...and I apologize to Sherman, but I thought he had died already, so I was doubly shocked when I heard that he died because I had to come to terms with the fact that he was in fact alive and died all over again. In addition, and again I apologize to Sherman, I thought he was a lot older than 74 when I thought he died the first time and this time.  Either way, I loved THE JEFFERSONS and I missed Sherm when he died in my mind the first time so I will continue missing him now that he really is gone. RIP SHERMAN HEMSLEY

-I read on one of my TV websites yesterday that NBC just green lit DRACULA.  At first I rolled my eyes and thought "I have enough vampires in my life, I really do," but then when I read further and learned that Jonathan Rhys Meyers was going to star, I took the eye roll back.  I was hoping that JRM was a Christian Gray contender for the 50 Shades movie, but okay,  if not, then he could be a pretty good Dracula, so for now, I am tabling the eye rolling and allowing myself to add an additional vampire to my repertoire if necessary.

-Well, it's official, we have a MODERN FAMILY standoff.  Everyone, with the exception of Ed O'Neill it seems, filed a complaint yesterday to have their current contract voided out and the first table read that was supposed to happen today is officially delayed.  I'm sure this will all get handled pretty quickly, MODERN FAMILY is ABC's biggest hit and the cast needs to strike while the iron's hot, just like the FRIENDS cast did.

-On Monday night, the 1000'th episode of MONDAY NIGHT RAW broke some records for viewing and online engagement...the show reached a total of 6 million viewers and was the most watched program on cable TV.

-Remember MTV's HOUSE OF STYLE?  Well, it's coming back as on online series.  While there will be new content, MTV is also going into the archives to prove that everything that's old is new again...just like the show.

-Some NETFLIX facts:
  • 23.94 million domestic streaming subscribers in 2Q which is up a bit from Q1.
  • 3.62 million international streaming subscribers
  • 9.24 million domestic DVD subscribers
  • Total Q2 revenue 889 million bucks which is up from 870 million in Q1
-I stream music every single day, so I thought this chart was a tiny bit interesting...not earth shattering news really, pretty much captures what I would think it would capture.
Frequency with Which Radio Listeners in North America Listen to Streaming Radio, by Demographic, Feb 2012 (% of respondents)

-Hoping that by promoting my almost best friend Jimmy Fallon's primetime music special tonight, he will appreciate me enough to respond to my sleepover offer...so tune in tonight at 10 and check it out.  Again, I'm pretty sure that the show is a compilation of every clip I have ever posted of my very talented almost friend, but just to be sure I haven't missed anything, I will be watching tonight. You're welcome Jimmy.

Wednesday's Trivia Question: Here's the photo, name the show and again, bonus if you can name the make & model of the car.
