-I just wasn't feeling Olympicky last night...felt like doing something different.  So, I decided to go to Yoga and I was looking forward to watching the old BATTLE OF THE NETWORK stars on ESPN Classic when I got home.  Much to my chagrin, I found out the hard way that I apparently don't have ESPN Classic in my Cablevision Gold or Platinum or whatever million dollar package I have.  So all I Tivo'ed was a blank screen which totally bummed me out.  I really wanted to see Scott Baio in his super short shorts, and William Conrad getting all angry with everyone.  I LOVED BATTLE OF THE NETWORK STARS and always rooted for ABC.  Gotta call Cablevision this morning.  Wonder how much this will cost me?

-So without my BATTLE OF THE NETWORK STARS, I caught up on Sunday's episode of BREAKING BAD.  Walter White on  should learn to just stay in bed and sleep through his birthday moving forward.  On his 50th, he was diagnosed with cancer. This year on his 51'st birthday, his wife, who seems to have lost her eyebrows, tries to kill herself (or pretends to) I know she's trying to protect her kids, but it's way more interesting with the kids in the house...just saying.  If all that wasn't bad enough, the DEA is getting closer and the methlamine he needs now has GPS tracking on it.  Nothing deters Walt though...nothing!

-Supposedly, it is official that Sharon Osbourne is leaving AMERICA'S GOT TALENT when this season comes to its conclusion.  She is apparently pissed off that NBC fired Jack, her son from their new reality show, STARS GOT STRIPES once they found out he had MS.  NBC says they never had a contract, Sharon says they were acting in good faith. Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.  Here's the thing...Sharon's busy.  She has 3 kids, Ozzy, Ozzfest, THE TALK  films in LA which can't be an easy commute.  While I'm sure this Jack thing had something to do with it, I think it may have been more the straw that broke the camel's back and she's shot.

-Consumerreports.org did a subscriber poll recently and found that most people who participated preferred Vudu, Itunes and Amazon Instant Video better than Netflix when it comes to streaming video.
The biggest issue respondents seem to have with Netflix Instant Watch is that there is such a limited selection.  This is what I was complaining about all along.  Netflix wanted to charge me more if I wanted full access to everything in their arsenal OR I could pay less and get less.   According to the only one in five people surveyed said they were highly satisfied with the choice of titles from "all-you-can-watch" services like Netflix and Hulu Plus. In comparison, 60% of respondents said they were highly satisfied with pay-per-view video streaming services like iTunes, Amazon Instant Video, and Vudu. Fair is fair....It's not all bad news for Netflix,  81% of respondents who used a streaming video service in the past month said they used Netflix.  Among the other findings, 52% of ConsumerReports.org subscribers polled said they used a streaming video service in the past month, compared to 47% who saw a movie in a theater, 43% who rented a DVD or Blu-ray disc, and 32% who used their TV provider's VOD service.

-A new Nielsen report finds that even though American's spend 35 hours each week watching content across all screens, 94% of that time is still spent watching content on a traditional television screen.  Nielsen says TV usage may increase going forward. An earlier report from the company pegged connected TV penetration among US households at 10.4% as of February 2012, compared to just 4.7% in February 2011. And when it comes to how much these households are actually using the Internet functionality within those TVs, Nielsen estimated that in October 2011, the use of the Internet feature was roughly 2% of the total TV use; in February 2012, that number jumped to about 5%.

It's a pretty slow news day...that's all I got.

Tuesday's Boss themed Trivia Question:  Who was Mrs. Wiggins's boss? I need the characters name...not the actors name.
