-I got home late last night, no OLYMPICS again (that's 3 Olympic free nights in a row for me-I will be watching them tonight) but I forced myself to stay awake for BIG BROTHER. No bullets today, there were just two big pieces of news really. As expected Janelle was evicted which truly saddens me on one end but it was great game play on the other. The other bummer was that Frank(which really means Adult Baby New Year/Boogie) won HOH. With the silent six which I'm pretty sure is really the silent 7 (ABNY/Boogie, Frank, Britney, Dan, Danielle, Shane and Ian) there isn't many people to vote out...what does it matter of GC Jen is evicted...boring...we need another big shake up...
-Last night's COMEDIANS IN CARS GETTING COFFEE wasn't the best, but still enjoyable. I'm not familiar with Brian Regan, who was Jerry's guest in a very cool Dodge. Even though it was just okay, it's still worth watching, so here's the link.
-What isn't okay is that 2.2 million people watched HERE COMES HONEY BOO BOO on Wednesday night. I was hoping that ALL of them were like me. Just checking it out because of the name, but doubtful because unlike me, it seems most people watched both episodes. I got out after the first one. If America makes these people the new Kardashians, I'm going to lose it. 2.2 million people watched HERE COMES HONEY BOO BOO and 2.2 million people watch BREAKING BAD...some thing is wrong with America. Everyone should be watching BREAKING BAD and nobody should be watching HCHBB...I can't even type it anymore. I am declaring the blog HCHBB free.
Some TWITTER facts:
- 31.8 million American internet users will access Twitter at least once a month this year, up from a little over 25 million in 2011
- It is estimated to get to 39.6 million monthly US users by 2014.
- This is the first time the number of monthly Twitter users in the US will account for more than one-fifth of all social network users
- Only 10% of the total US population visits Twitter each month.
- Considering the amount of media attention they get, I don't think these are great numbers.
- In 2011, 13.8 million of the 25.1 million monthly Twitter users were female, and 11.3 million were male.
