- I didn't watch a minute of the OLYMPICS last night, but seriously it was a GOLD MEDAL night of TV anyway...it started out with one of the best BIG BROTHER'S ever, here's my recap.

-BIG BROTHER BULLETS:

Now there is another alliance...THE SILENT SIX..now wait...a couple of questions...isn't it the silent 7? and is this team in addition to the QUACKPACK or does it cancel and supersede the QUACKPACK?
Holy cow...I can't believe that Janelle of all people got backdoored...I think this was one of the best eps ever!
I just wish Frank was as cute or cuter than Dr. Will...then I could get into the Frank/Boogie thing a bit more.

-SPOILER ALERT...BIG TIME: After BIG BROTHER was the season finale of DALLAS which was an unbelievable hour of television...very much a throwback to the original series with shocking twists and turns from all directions. I don't have a clue how I can do it all justice, but I'll give it a try.

Just like most other primetime soaps, we start off with Bobby Ewing waking up from a coma, telling his family (with no speech impediment at all) that everything is fine and he is back home at Southfork before the commercial break. Rebecca/Scarface is obviously not who we think she is, she kills a man and has "people" she can call to make the bodies disappear. John Ross (JRjr as I am now calling him) is struggling to turn his life around. He tries something new... do the right thing. He wins back Elena, and makes things right with his Uncle and cousin. He rents the old Ewing Oil for the new home of Ewing Energy, proposes to Elena with a hideously small and ugly engagement ring and she of course accepts. Remember though...this is DALLAS so everything has to blow up, especially in a finale episode. When Bobby and Christopher find out that JRjr and JR were in on the entire Marta Del Sol/Veronica Martinez thing (but cut a deal in order to get the Feds to arrest Tony Almeda from 24) Elena hears that JRjr wants to hide it all from her, because she is listening right at the doorway and nobody sees her. She quickly breaks the engagement and has her Mommy give JRjr the hideous ring back. Of course before Tony Almeda goes to prison he swears he'll be back to get revenge on the Ewings ('m thinking Season 2). Sue Ellen (who looks a lot like my mother in law) wants to run for Governor but is being blackmailed by this Ryland guy who was once married to Annie. When Annie hears this, she goes to see him and he thinks she's about to get nasty with him right there in the office, but of course she's wearing a wire and gets all the dirt she needs to turn the tables on him...if that wasn't good enough, we all get to see her lavender bra. Before she leaves, she punches him right in his face. Christopher found out that Rebecca/Scarface is not Rebecca at all, he tells her they are through and he's taking their unborn babies from her too. Of course Christopher heads to Elena's, reminds her how much he still loves her, pulls out another disappointing engagement ring and asks her to marry him (he is still married to Scarface, but guessing that will also come up in Season 2). They hit the sheets. For the record, that's two engagement rings in one episode for Elena and both were big bummers especially since both guys are 2 hot oil barons. Just as we think the episode is over and it can't get any juicier, we finally find out who Scarface really is and it was truly a jaw dropper...she is CLIFF BARNES'S daughter!!! The end!

-I had been seeing and hearing a ton of promos for this show called HEAR COMES HONEY BOO BOO on TLC. I've never seen TODDLERS AND TIARAS, so no idea at all what I expected, but I decided I had to check it out purely on its name alone. I was seriously appalled and disgusted by this 22 minutes of white trash television and will never watch it again. I don't know what to say without sounding like a snob and I'm SO not a snob, but these people are disgusting in every way. They live in rural Georgia somewhere. When I say this show is a train wreck, I'm not kidding...a train literally goes through their backyard, there is garbage and crap everywhere, they speak in such a broken down form of the English language that subtitles are needed. They are all unattractive, with nasty teeth, manners, eating habits and clothes. They aren't funny, they aren't interesting, they are just truly ignorant people with barely any education. I have no idea at all how they got a TV show, but I for one was embarrassed that I even gave up 22 minutes of my life to watch them. I won't make that mistake again.

Android remained at the top with a 68.1% market share of all smartphones shipped during the quarter
iOS was second at 16.9%.
Samsung accounted for 44% of all Android smartphones shipped in Q2 2012, which was more than the next seven Android vendors combined.
Android's year-over-year growth rate in shipments was 106.5% (from 50.8 million units shipped in Q2 2011 to 104.8 million)
iOS' rate was 27.5% (from 20.4 million units to 26 million units).

-According to eMarketer, by the end of 2012, almost 82 million US mobile users will log on to a social networking site using their phone every month. That would be over a quarter of the total US population. 95.5% of those 82 million mobile users will visit social sites using a smartphone. They predict that the number of monthly mobile visitors will continue to grow, to 99 million by the end of 2013 and 116.8 million by the end of 2014. For all its troubles, Facebook will continue to be the king. 70 million people will visit Facebook from their phones each month this year, which is 85.4% of the overall mobile social networking population. That percentage will rise to 87.4% by 2014.

While I was watching the horrendous HONEY BOO BOO debacle, I saw a promo for another train wreck called ABBY & BRITNEY. They are conjoined twins who have 2 heads and share one body. All I know is that in the promo they are food shopping and I looked at my husband with a WTF face and had had enough...I SO should have watched the OLYMPICS

-I loved Jennie Garth's show A LITTLE BIT COUNTRY and can't believe the amazing transformation she seems to have gone through since it ended a few months ago. Sure she is going through a painful divorce and seemed a bit depressed, but I think she came to her senses, hired a trainer and decided to make her ex, Peter Facinelli regret leaving...check her out below...I think she went a bit too far, but now she can have a bag a chips and some Ben & Jerry's Chocolate Therapy with a little breathing room.
