2nd night of X Factor. Britney really looked like she took the walk of shame after a crazy night of partying didn't she? My friend had a great comment about Britney yesterday that was spot on. Her facial expressions and body language don't really match her commentary. OY VEY with Lexa Berman. I'm so glad they didn't but her through. Jason Brock was a SHOCK (like how that rhymed?) . He annoyed me up until he sang. I wanted him gone and then he opened his mouth and sang one of my favorites, NY State of Mind, and killed. Sort of a Susan Boyle moment. Another show, another Britney Spears stalker auditions. We seem to have a bit of a trend here. Don't these people go through security or something? That guy freaked me out. Best moment of the night, 13 year old Carly Rose Sonenclar...she wins. Game over.
Here's why Ryan Murphy gets paid the big bucks. He must have been paying attention to how Friday Night LIghts transitioned so perfectly when characters graduated and moved on. Glee did a great job last night. We have Rachel and Kurt in NYC with super mean, drunk, Kate Hudson (who can apparently sing and dance) and a hot guy who started the show off singing naked in the shower (Thanks Ryan). Then, back at McKinley, it's a new school year and the seniors were auditioning for new Glee club members where they found the new Rachel whose name is Marly Rose. Coincidentally the name rhymes with X Factor winner to be, 13 year old Carly Rose? 2 more strange X Factor/Glee coincidences...next week is the 2nd Britney Glee episode and Marly and Rachel sang NY State of Mind. Is Simon Cowell just that powerful? In addition to all of that, we had an awesome performance by my favorite, Darren Criss, The cast gave "Call Me Maybe" a shot and did a decent job, and there were Pop Chips everywhere.
Big Brother...day 69...hee hee hee. Of course Danielle chooses to stick with Shane. She's an idiot. I am going to laugh at Danielle and her big giant 3rd eye pimple when Shane dumps her butt so fast and she's crying like a baby over him. I forgot all about the Jury House, so it was a nice surprise to see what went was going on over there, unfortunately...things aren't going so well at all. Lots of fighting in the clip I saw. I cannot believe that Danielle won the HOH AND POV...unbelievable. Ian's screwed and Dan is sitting pretty. If anyone isn't convinced that Dan is THE best player of all time now you have to be. He actually convinces Danielle to put up her boyfriend and then makes his biggest move yet by not only voting Shane out, but convincing her it was the only way to get HER to the final 2. I wish this was Survivor, because Dan outwitted outplayed and outlasted...Great Game Play, Great TV.
I had to watch Wednesday's and Thursday's America's Got Talent finale all in one night. So it was down to David Garibaldi the painter, Tom Cotter the Comedian, The Untouchables, Joe Castillo the sand guy, William Close the music guy, and Olate Dogs. In between all of the lonnnng drawn out drama, Florida, Ne-yo, One Republic and William Close, Frankie J, Joan Rivers, Justin Bieber and Green Day all performed. They never showed the judges faces when Bieber was singing. I would have loved to see Howard trying to look like he liked Justin Bieber. So here's how it played out in the end SPOILER ALERT: 3rd Place...William Close, 2nd Place Tom Cotter and the winner is Olate Dogs. I told my husband the dogs would win. America loves dogs. So net/net. I probably won't watch AGT again next Summer. I had never watched before and watched this year because Howard was on. Howard was good, but he wasn't what I thought he would be and to be honest, I did get a little bored. All of these shows that get stretched to 2 hours are just killers so unless something unbelievable happens, I doubt I'll be back next Summer even if Howard is.
For the Episodes fans out there, great news...we will be finding out what happens to Merc, Matt, Carol, Sean and Beverly. The show has been renewed for a 3rd season. Yeah!
For anyone that doesn't watch How I Met Your Mother, or wants the best recap ever...you have to watch this. Again...Neil Patrick Harris...awesome!
Some Friday Fun I thought I'd share... A cool thing that you can do on Google...type in BACON NUMBER and any celebrity's name and you will get the number of "degrees" to Kevin Bacon.

Just a reminder 9 days until the EMMY Awards...get your ballots in asap! Let's see who really knows their TV! If you need me to send you another ballot, let me know...you gotta be in it to win it and I do have a decent prize!
Friday's Trivia Question: My favorite TV High School is where Coach Taylor, Tim Riggins, Jason Street, Lyla Garrity, and Matt Saracen all went. Name the school.
Have a great weekend!
