Pretty crazy night for me last night...2 hour commute, went right to yoga, came home and prepped for my son's first day of Middle School.  We finally settled in to watch some TV and the power went out.  I was so exhausted, I just went right to bed.  Didn't even beg my husband to turn on the generator...sleep.

Prior to the electricity deprivation, we did get to see the big reveal of Kelly Ripa's top secret new co-host...worst secret ever, but in case you aren't reading this blog or you live under a rock or something...Michael Strahan officially got the job.  He looks like he lost weight while he's been in hiding,  and Kelly looked amazing.  While she still could use some implants, her dress was awesome, she was tan and well rested, she looked great.  Michael is going to be perfect in that chair.  He's just SO big...those hands are massive.  Kelly mentioned that she had nearly 60 guest co-hosts and she only hated one.  My guess is that the one is Boomer Esaison.  He was such a jerk when he was her co-host...it would shock me if it was anyone else.  I'm also a tiny bit confused as to what the name of the show now is.  The graphics say Live Kelly & Michael. (see above)  Did we lose the "with"?  Where did it go?  Is this a new trend? Or is it Kelly & Michael Live?  If it is, shouldn't the Live go at the bottom and not the top?  Prepositions are our friends people...I need the "with".

The only other show we were able to watch was the season premiere of Flipping Out.  While there was lots going on last night, the only thing I could focus on was Jenny Poulus's extreme eyebrows. They are hypnotic but not in a good way.  Sorry Jenny, I love you, but the eyebrows make you look like an escapee from the looney bin or something.  Jeff is still with that dud, Gage and they are doing a $750,000 renovation on their dream house.  Jeff is still making Zoila nuts, but at least with all of her plastic surgery, she looks good using that Dyson!  We love Zoila in our house.  Jeff, if you don't want her, we'll take her!  Jeff also hired a new, very flamboyant assistant, Andrew, who they all love to trick and torture.  It seems Andrew has a trust fund but in order for him to collect the dough, he has to be fully employed.  I don't know why Andrew shared this info with Jeff, but he did and now Jeff is using it to his advantage...big time. I love Jeff Lewis!

We missed AGT last night, we'll have to catch the rerun later in the week.

Jillian is coming back to The Biggest Loser.  Pretty sure she was doing the David Caruso thing, but she smartened up and came back to what she's good at...yelling at people and helping them lose weight.  I gave up The Biggest Loser when Jillian left. I also couldn't commit 4 hours a week to the show, especially when they could do it all in an hour.  So not sure if I'm going back or not, but it's still a good move for the show and for Jillian.

TBS's Sullivan & Son has been renewed.  I'm sort of surprised, I didn't love it. It's a Cheers wannabe, but maybe it got better since I checked it out. Or not. Anyone out there like it?

Can you believe we have Football tonight?  I am ready for some Football...so ready.  For all of you new readers.  I am a Jet fan (I know...I know), my husband is a Giant fan.  So we watch both teams and we root for both in this house.  So, while I really have zero expectations for anything other than fun Sunday's...GO JETS!

The season finale of Breaking Bad ratings aren't officially in yet, but viewers were up across the board.  I know that there were a ton of people like me that jumped on this bandwagon late, but what a ride we are on and what a great finale.  I heard from a few of you who all feel the same way as I do about the show.  The finale delivered 2.8 million viewers which was up 47% vs. last years finale.  It also delivered 1.7 million A18-49 which was up 37% vs. last years finale.  To date, the season delivered an average of 2.6 million viewers which is up 39% vs. last season.  Against A18-49 the season delivered an average of 1.6 million viewers which was up 56% vs. last season.  Basically this means...there are a lot of people on the BB Bandwagon!  Welcome aboard.  We have a long time until the train leaves the station for the final ride, but I can't wait.

For anyone with Direct TV, you will soon be able to use Viggle and start to earn cool prizes for watching your favorite shows.  To date I have earned 3 Itunes cards and 3 movie tickets, but then again, I watch a TON of TV.  It's still fun to watch TV using Viggle on your cell phone.  Plus if you're doing it anyway, why not earn cool stuff?  No brainer if you ask me.
