The X Factor judges were in Greensboro, North Carolina last night. Now I know why Britney looks so bad...she apparently does her own make-up. Or at least that's what the producers want us to believe. They also think we would believe that Simon Cowell would eat grits. Not a chance. Will Jones, the first to audition in Greensboro, may eat grits, but definitely not Simon Cowell. Will came out and we all thought he would be singing some Flo-rida or Kanye, but he opened his mouth and out came some pretty decent country music. Every one's just looking for that next Susan Boyle moment. Next up was a guy with no teeth named Kelvin, a redneck, lawnmower repairman who spoke hillbilly. The judges and I couldn't understand a word he said and booted him pretty quickly. Julia Bullock was prepared to blow off her ex-boyfriend and her band to go to Hollywood. Her ex was getting more and more upset as the crowd and the judges went wild for her. I didn't see it, she wasn't a favorite of mine. But I'm betting she changed her relationship status to single after the audition. I think I've mentioned how much I love the song "Hallelujah", I collect different versions of it. Jeffrey the single dad's performance of it gave me chills last night. He's my fave so far. A crazy storm struck the arena, literally and figuratively...First, Krysten a girl who was told to come back later and try again, came back and stunk...then went nuts, threw a water bottle on the cameraman, then a chair and left. During all of that the venue and a production truck were struck by lightning. That actually made the show a bit interesting.
If we didn't get enough Britney (Spears) on the X Factor, Glee decided that a second all Britney (Spears) episode to cheer up Brittany (Pierce) who is in a major state of depression, was absolutely necessary. I don't know if I would agree, but Ryan Murphy and Simon Cowell are pretty powerful people in Hollywood, so I'm sure the double dipping Britney strategy was one (or both) of their ideas. Did you guys happen to notice the extremely phallic volcano erupting with red lava during "Womanizer"? How much can you push the envelope these days? Kudos for trying and getting away with it though. Puck's bro Jake doesn't look anything at all like him, but he does play the guitar and he can sing pretty well. I loved the mashup of Brittany's (Spears) "You Drive Me Crazy" and Aerosmith's "Crazy" whoever thought of that one gets a thumbs up this week. I never thought of Rachel as sexy at all, but her "Oops I did it Again" number was pretty hot...for Rachel. Rachel needs to blow off Finn and go for it with the super cute Brody. If you guys hate me for that...sorry. I was never a huge Finn fan. While it was good to see Puck, bizarre to have him flew in from LA to tell the 1/2 brother he never knew he had to get his act together. Other than bringing back Puck that entire storyline made no sense at all.
Parks & Rec...finally!!! Rob Lowe's hair...back. "Lit-ralee"...back. Ron's hair was looking pretty special too, had to give him a shout out. Ann and Tom were pretending to still be a couple just to prove a point and win 1000 bucks, classic, but they lost before the end of the episode. Some surprise guest appearances while Leslie was in DC visiting Ben...Real life senators Barbara Boxer, Olympia Snow and John McCain. Now those are some GREAT cameos right? Famous people nobody really recognizes? If you need some big surprise guest starts, Rob should be able to get Demi Moore, Emilio Estevez or Mike Myers right? Make some calls Rob. Happy to have the Pawnee team back for the Fall, I've missed them all.

For anyone NOT buying the new Iphone 5, the IOS 6 upgrade hit my phone yesterday with lots of cool new features. I need to play around and gather some info on them all, but if you haven't updated your software, you should give it a shot over the weekend.
A few key premiere dates for some of our Bravo favorites and some that I am betting will become favorites:
11/4-Real Housewives of Atlanta
11/5-Real Housewives of Beverly Hills
11/5-Silicon Valley
11/7-LOLwork
11/7-Top Chef Seattle (The one with Wolfgang Puck)
11/13-Million Dollar Decorators-I LOVE THIS SHOW!
For anyone who is planning on seeing a movie this weekend, I have two suggestions. First there is the new Richard Gere movie Arbitrage which is in theaters AND on iTunes. I watched it on my couch last weekend for 6.99 and it was really good. I've always been a huge Richard Gere fan and he was great in this one. However, it's been a long time since I've seen a movie that left me speechless, but The Intouchables will do that to you. If this one is playing anywhere near where you live, you have to see it. I don't want to tell you anything about it, and don't Google it. Just go see it.
2 DAYS UNTIL THE EMMY'S. I LIED, YOU CAN STILL GET YOUR BALLOT IN TODAY, BUT SERIOUSLY THIS IS YOUR LAST SHOT!
Friday's Saved by the Bell Trivia Question courtesy of Heather Sparks (Thank You by the way): Who won the "Miss Bayside" pageant?
Have a great weekend!
